We are located on the west side of Salt Lake City Int'l Airport and just 8 miles west of downtown Salt Lake City. Local attractions all under 15 minutes away include Spring Mobile Ballpark, The Maverick Center, Temple Square, Energy Solutions Arena, City Creek Mall, Gateway Mall and Valley Fair Mall is only six miles away with many new restaurants and two large movie theaters. Also nearby is Miller Motorsports Park and the Olympic Skating Oval as well as USANA Ampitheater. Local Companies include DHL, Expedex, Platt Electric Supply, Cummins, RC Willey, Federal Express, Hunter Douglas, FBI and many more all in close driving or shuttle distance. No matter what time of the year you visit please enjoy our indoor heated swimming pool and jacuzzi, fitness room, or a jog through the International Business Center. We have large green areas to walk your dogs as well. Our HDTV includes 32 channels with free to guest movies and interactive plug and play on our 32" televisions. If you are flying in and don't have a car we are here for you with our complimentary shuttle service to and from the airport. Also offered to our hotel guests is our Stay & Go Parking Package with seasonal rates to leave your car while you fly out after your stay with us. I have mobility issues and need a handicapped room with a wheel in shower, ideally. Or at least an ability to get in and out with bars on MULTIPLE walls. The bars were only on the back across from the open space and the shower chair was too large for the tub. It was wobbly as well. It would have been safe to sit on it. The room layout made no sense, with the fridge behind the door. There was no chair or desk. I called to ask for at least a chair to be brought up. After being hung up on 4 times I was finally told that it was like that to ensure a person in a wheelchair could turn around and then was rudely told that they were alone and couldn't bring a chair up. I sat on the bed the whole time and this did me harm due to MY needs. The room is plenty big enough for a desk and a wheelchair. At least room 300 was right by the elevator, so less walking. sigh I couldn't eat the breakfast, as all they had was biscuits and gravy. For $237 I expect more. Really, I just want a refund. sigh…

The 2 shuttle drivers once from the airport and then back to airport were Friesland helpful with information I needed. Staff was like staying with family, very friendly and helpful.I would definitely stay there again the location so close to the airport

Staff does not care..convenience store empty. .doors nearly impossible to open...rooms need refurbishing Convenient for airport and a decent price the only reason to stay. I hate writing negative reviews.

How many times do I have to elaborate on this miserable experience. This facility and the management there are unacceptable. To realize that this is a hotel chain and there are others all across the country is a SCARY THING!

Beds were not comfortable! The rooms were clean & AC works well. Tub needs some work, black stain around drain. Freezer door in fridge fell off when I opened the refrigerator. Double doors going into bathroom don’t lock. No privacy. The Receptionist was very nice & helpful. Breakfast employee was rude & talked to her husband in their language. Was putting items away at 9:30am. All warmers were removed and food was cold. Had to reheat in microwave. I won’t be staying there again!

They had a menu of restaurants and delivery options at the desk so that was nice. The elevator was out of order so we had to walk to the other side of the hotel to the other one. Room was nice. Could have used another plug by the bed

Beds - feels like sleeping on an air mattress that laying on top of a box spring. Top (mattress) squishy, but hits the hard surface of the box spring underneath. Sheets seemed to have some (hopefully) old stains showing. (ick) Be aware : NOT Mgmt. fault, BUT, This area's surroundings include a swampy, marshy area. Consequently, we left with a significant number of mosquito bites incurred whilst unpacking & packing our vehicle.

We stayed here for 3 nights and not once did we receive Housekeeping Service.. on the 3rd morning, my husband tipped the Maid $5 to clean - needless to say - room was never cleaned, and she got $5 in her pocket

This was such a great value I was a bit worried about what we were walking into. I had nothing to worry about. The hotel is very clean and in good repair. The bed, bedding, and pillows were great. I would and will absolutely stay here again.

If you need a stay near the SLC airport, La Quinta Inn & Suites will not disappoint. Excellent marks all around. Front desk staff was friendly and detail-oriented. My check-in and check-out experience was pleasant and professional. The room was quite spacious and had lots of welcome details. A roomy bathroom behind French doors had soft towels, a hair dryer, and night lights from the dryer and light switch - very helpful late at night. Comfy beds in my 2-queen non-smoking room. Smart - a light switch between the beds can turn off the entryway light, saving one having to get up. The a/c kept the room perfectly comfortable, and the mini-fridge and microwave were appreciated. Soda vending, ice machines, and laundry available in several locations, and the lobby features a sundry and snack shop. The airy and comfortable lobby offers breakfast from 6-9 a.m, including a few hot items (bacon and scrambled eggs during my stay). Frequent, speedy, and friendly airport shuttle. The hotel can accommodate customers with pets. My first time to try a La Quinta. I chose it for the reasonable rate and proximity to the airport. I'll choose them again after the terrific experience.
