Stayed here one night as we were taking the heli ride to glaciers. Weren’t overly impressed with this facility. Quite outdated but very minor renovations. This establishment wouldn’t have been our first choice as it was far from city center. The staff weren’t friendly. Felt quite unwelcomed. Not coming back - for sure!
Holiday camp style chalet accommodation. Clearly has been updated with new carpets, kitchen and some new furniture, but fair number of maintenance issues including sticking doors, leaking shower, toilet flusher a challenge to operate. Lots of condensation. Nice mountain view. Quiet despite being close to main road. Comfortable beds. On-site laundry ($6 for wash/dry at time of visit). TV with basic channels. Although clearly short of staff (no manned reception - telephone for service, note saying cabin service not available), helpful and accommodating when we had issues with the TV/providing a fold up bed for our 3rd child. Small deck area with uncomfortable furniture that could do with an upgrade.
A bit away from the main town, this is a simple, unpretentious hotel with cabins spread out over an area. Cabins have all relevant facilities like a kitchenette. Service is minimal, however all facilities provided for a comfortable stay. We stayed for a single night.
