Double booked our room, turned up to guests in our room, offered to find alternative accommodation, told us it was more expensive and he would pay the difference- but we found out it was slightly cheaper. Motel right next door very accommodating highly recommend the Glenfern Villas.

Comprised of two separate cabins, they offer a compact lodge with all needed amenities, from a full kitchen, fully equipped toilet, separate bedroom for two, a fold out sofa bed, TV with Netflix, and WiFi! The hosts even had bug spray! Views are obviously spectacular

We stayed for 2 nights. Easy to find the place from Brad’s email. Thank you so much for the information. It’s very helpful! All the kitchen equipments were there, even salt&pepper + oil, so we didn’t need to buy. Less than 5 mins driving to a cafe, restaurants and 4 square. Clean room with nice bed was all we needed. The weather during our stay was heavy rain mostly, and we couldn’t see the stunning view I was looking forward. However, I could see the combination of clouds and mountains, and it’s beautiful. There were board games and smart TV to support experiences with bad weather. It’s the great place to relax.

Alpine Escape is perfect for a peaceful get away. The views are superb. The accommodation is ideal for couples, is spotlessly clean and conveniant for Franz Josef facilities. It has everything you would need for short stays. We would highly recommend.

Alpine Escape is perfectly located 5 minutes out of Franz Josef Glacier- handy to the township. Check-in was quick and easy with a lockbox outside. The unit was super clean, comfortable and well equipped. Highly recommended!!
