We just arrived home from our seven day stay with our kids ages 4 and 7. We had an incredible time at this beautiful resort. We felt very Covid-safe with all of their precautions such as online check-in, etc. We stayed in an Andaz Suite and it was perfect for our family. Service was impeccable and any time we wanted our room cleaned or extra towels they were on it within minutes. Valet is speedy and friendly although the $40/day fee on top of the $48/day resort fee was unexpected at checkout. Restaurant food is good but spendy - Island Gourmet Market is a 10-minute walk from the resort and they offered more reasonably priced made-to-order meals including wonderful breakfasts, burgers, smoothies and acai bowls. There is also a Starbucks within 10 minutes walk from the hotel. There is a laundry room where you can do your own laundry - three washers and dryers and laundry soap is included. The beach here is perfect and they offer free rental of paddle boards, snorkel gear, etc. Every morning the staff would bring a chair with umbrellas down to the beach for us to spend the day and it was heavenly! Also, check out the luau at the resort, although pricey it was so much fun and one of our favorite things we did on the island. They had great live music at the restaurants multiple nights. We highly recommend this hotel and will definitely be back!…
While on our honeymoon we were at Andaz, Maui for about 10 days. The weather in Maui was perfect in September. Wailea area is popular for it's fancy resorts and Andaz shone the brightest. We booked an ocean view room, and that surely was a beautiful experience. The decor is far from glam. It is very tastefully done to position you and give you a flavor of the Hawaiin roots. Feels posh and justifies the $$$$ for your stay. Since we had a lot of days and spare time, we chose to go for meals and covered nearly all the other resorts in the area (beach walks/short drives). The only other resort that came close was four seasons, but the private beach we had at Andaz beats four seasons by leagues. The reef is right next to the beach which is a BIG plus. Ample activities happening at the resort to keep you engaged. Ample amenities to pamper yourselves, spa, pools, beaches, infinity pools, cabanas, you name it. This was my first time Andaz experience, and I've started looking for Andaz's anywhere I go.…
We spent 10 days in Maui for a family vacation. Nine of the days were at an Airbnb condo on the water in Kihei which was perfect. For our last day, we decided to check into the Andaz hotel. Great move! We spent the day by one of their many luxurious pools, had a fantastic lunch and then went to the beach in the afternoon - never left the property. We used their Peloton bikes in the fitness center and enjoyed the shops in the hotel as well. Having Morimoto on the property is also a big plus!
Not a 5 star. Decor is OK and food good but over priced. We went to the Four Seasons down the road and it was night and day. Wow the Four Seasons is amazing compared. Hawaii is amazing...weather, whales and dining
love it here... magical property. we have visited several times and will be back again! thanks to everyone at the resort... we love the food and the rooms and the beach activities and the family friendly atmosphere.
