We recently stayed at Ogilvy House and our time there was brilliant! The room was superbly spacious and clean. As a host we couldn't have ask for any better than Richard, he was attentive and made sure we were wanting for nothing. If you are looking for a place to stay in Cromer, look no further.

If there was a word better than excellent we would use it! The bed and bedding, the decor, the cleanliness, the fixtures and fittings, the breakfast were just as one would one them in every way. Additionally our hosts were friendly, kind and attentive. They were even happy for us to creep out to view the sunrise on the longest day! We cannot recommend highly enough.

Our experience of Ogilvy House was perfect from our first email to Richard and Louise. Seamless booking and helpful, friendly communication before arrival. And when we arrived….Wow! Set in a beautiful, elegant Victorian townhouse, there is off street parking (this needs to be arranged in advance) which is a bit of a rarity in many B&B’s in Cromer. Ogilvy House oozes effortless style. Definitely more boutique hotel than B&B. Lots of period features have been maintained along with antique furniture then mixed with subtle but modern lights and limited edition, contemporary prints. Soft, tonal colours mean the whole house is calm and elegant. Absolutely beautiful and in such good order it looks like it was decorated top to bottom yesterday. It was also completely spotless. In the current times of Covid-19, this is even more important than usual and absolutely nothing was missed. There were lots of new processes in place to ensure guests and owners are kept as safe as possible. Breakfast was fabulous, a choice of hot meals (full English, smoked salmon with scrambled eggs on toast etc) which are ordered the night before then a large range of cereals, fresh fruit, toast, yoghurt, juice etc which you order on the morning (I’m sure this would normally have been a “help yourself” array but is now ordered due to Covid). The English breakfast (we had this both mornings of our stay) was one of the best we have ever had. Clearly exceptional quality of ingredients, beautifully cooked with not a hint of grease on the plate. We felt utterly spoilt during our brief stay, Richard (who does the “front of house”) is absolutely charming and ensures you literally want for nothing. I cannot recommend Ogilvy House enough, a perfect stay for any occasion. Thank you so much!

We stayed in the Davies room. It was decorated to a very high standard and was spotlessly clean. I loved the standalone bath. Richard was a fantastic host and breakfast each day was excellent. The best breakfast we have ever been served in a bed and breakfast.
