A nice B&B tucked away in the countryside. There are dogs, cats, and amazing chickens. We love animals so no problem. Our room was located on the same floor as the kitchen so we could hear people talking. The floorboards in the room above us were creeky. The place was spotless and our room was very pretty. Personally, I would prefer it to have been a bit more minimalistic. That is why we usually stay in Premier Inn or Travelodge. The host is a lovely lady and works very hard. The walk to Cromer seemed longer than stated on Google. We enjoyed our stay. Different to what we are used to.

We had 2 nights in July at this lovely B&B. We were greeted by Ronica, a very friendly helpful host. Our room was up one flight of stairs and was nice and clean and airy. There was plenty of wardrobe space and a lovely comfortable bed. There was a large, powerful shower and nice soft towels. The breakfasts were superb with a large choice of cereals and fruit and Ronica cooked a lovely full English breakfast or any variation! There is adequate parking in the grounds and it’s only 5 minutes drive to Cromer.

Thornybank is a wonderful B&B , which could quite easily be called a hotel with its excellent amenities. The woodland grounds are beautiful with some wonderful wild birds to watch with the scene changing every few minutes , chickens and squirrels to watch. The rooms are just amazing with so much space to spread out and relax. Like everyone has mentioned before me the breakfasts are superb , as much as you could ever eat. Now we come to the jewel in the Crown, Ronica the most wonderful host , she makes you feel at home as soon as you arrive, very charming and chatty , making you feel very welcome and relaxed with her very interesting banter. On arrival with my family she informed us that she had two Rottweilers , I panicked being a cowardly dog person , so so afraid of dogs all my life since being badly bitten as a paper boy nearly seventy years ago! When I met these two dogs they made me so welcome , just like their owner, I felt at ease immediate they the most friendly Rotty's I have ever come across. A fabulous place to stay , with a real human being in Ronica. So popular I doubt if I will ever get back there for a booking.

Stayed for two nights at this delightful bed and breakfast. Host Ronica is a very friendly and helpful lady, couldn't do enough for us. Our room was really good, very comfortable bed and spotlessly clean, as was the bathroom. Breakfast was delicious, served fresh and plentiful. Attention to detail regarding the current virus situation was made. Would certainly stay again and will definitely recommend to friends and family. Thank you Ronica.

Just spent two very enjoyable nights at Thornybank. The lady owner Ronica couldnt do enough for us.The hotel room was very clean and spacious with a wonderful view over woodland. It is like getting back to nature with hens in the back garden which also houses a great variety of birds and a few squirrels. The breakfast is freshly cooked for you personally and is scrumptious. The best till last is the two wonderful, soppy, delightful dogs which are Ronicas babys but will become yours when you get there.Thornybank is well worth a visit.
