A modern to be enjoyed Charms Llanes Classic. Centrally located in the tourist heart of the town, but quiet and secluded. Just steps from the beach, the walls, the medieval town and the magical cliff above the sea forming the Paseo de San Pedro. And as in Llanes is difficult to park, we offer our free private parking. There is no cost wifi throughout the facility. Do not Miss New DOUBLE SUPERIOR rooms: designed for your rest

We spent 2 nights in 2 rooms on floor 1 of the Miramar. In August’s high season. The hotel is AMAZINGLY clean. Housekeeping comes daily and uses beautiful smelling products. The rooms are small and we were unable to get a balcony because the whole hotel was booked. The only big complaint we have was the the rooms do not have air conditioning. They explained that the government requires temps above a certain point before hotels can install it. The shower was THE BEST we have experienced so far in Europe. It was amazing! The staff were very kind and the manager was helpful- pointing us in the right direction for surfing and meals. He even came out to the parking lot with bottled water as we packed up to leave. We appreciated having cold water in the lobby each day as well. That was fantastic! Parking is right on site and EASY Breakfast was fine- coffee was self-serve so my crew missed a café con leche with breakfast. We enjoyed the large bottle of orange juice and the boys liked the eggs. The location was TOP Notch- easy to access all of Llanes and a short walk to the closest beach and súper vistas. We would highly recommend Hotel Montemar!

This hotel is great if you are looking for somewhere to stay in Llanes that has parking and proximity to the beach, town and coastal walk. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the bathroom especially was modern and spotlessly clean. The bed was large and comfortable. The only disappointment was that there was no aircon in our bedroom. I guess that for most of the year this isn’t an issue, but during our four night stay in July it was often over 30 degrees, which meant we had to have the window open and there was a lot of noise outside until around 1am (bottles being sorted, rubbish collection, seagulls, young people shouting, motorbikes being started up etc). If there had been aircon, this wouldn’t have been a problem.

All was well: good location, modern, friendly staff, nice room size, clean, quiet and with comfy bed, great tv channels selection, parking on site. As a downside, there was no fridge, but we didn't really miss it on a one night stay. Breakfast available in cafeteria, with several choices. A really great choice if in Llanes.

Llanes is a beautiful little harbour town, just off the Cantabrico Motorway along the Biscay to Galicia coast and within easy reach of the inland mountains of the Picos de Europa. Full of historic buildings from the 13th Century on, shops, cider bars, cafes and restaurants with terrific value seafood menus. So well worth a few nights stay, especially during local festivals. Hotel Montemar is a brilliant base; much newer than the adjacent sister hotel Don Paco but what it lacks in heritage charm it more than makes up for in terms of quality and service. Both hotels are owned by the same family and it shows. Very high standards of welcome and service with caring touches like fruit and chilled water in reception and courteous and attentive waiters in the small cafeteria bars. Very good breakfasts, included in our Brittany Ferries package booking, and they didn’t turn a hair when I demanded ajo (minced garlic) and fresh puréed tomatoes to accompany my eggs after the preliminaries of fresh fruit juice, coffee, yoghurt and granola preliminaries.

We have stayed here before and had no hesitation in booking again, a very well run hotel. It is very clean and comfortable, the staff are extremely helpful and friendly and the overall service is excellent. Well recommended.

Having a motorcycling holiday around Spain is always a pleasure. You get to enjoy places and scenery that a lot of tourists miss. So riding back north through the Picos de Europa after a week or so, I decided to spend a few days off the motorcycle. I chose to stay at the hotel Montemar because of its location and onsite parking. I had a nice room with a balcony and a great view. But the friendly and warm reception of the people who worked there was what made it better. I had some difficulty with my returning home documents (I'm not good with technology). The manager and people on reception went out of their way to help me. They were very patient and kind. I could not have done it without them. People are generally nice wherever you go but the people at hotel Montemar turned a nice place in to a special place. When I return to Spain I will always make sure to include a stay at Hotel Montemar.

We had a wonderful room that was for 3 adults. Our daughter, age 30, had her own bedroom and we shared a bathroom. The rooms were spacious and well furnished. The bathroom was large. The breakfast was wonderful. The staff were so helpful, especially with the non-Spanish speaking parents!

Very good people. Our kid got sick and the people were great, very helpful. Besides that, good service, good breakfast, good position, close to the center, the beach and the routes to explore the coast.

They made everything to make us feel very confortable. We had some minor issues but they solved them very quick. The bedrooms are a very good size and they are very well insulated. The hotel is in an excellent location.
