Location of the beaten track in a quiet, peaceful village. Warm welcome from Rosalina & Alberto. Small menu to choose from at dinner. Meals all home cooked to order. The cod & monkfish so succulent & delicious. If I had one gripe it would be for the lack of vegetables. Breakfast incredible, loved the homemade yoghurt, preserves & cakes. Certainly set you up for the day. Our room overlooked the green valley at the front of the building, was super clean & comfortable. The bathroom had a brilliant shower! The cat is a delight! Excellent value for money.

We spent 12 nights at this lovely rural retreat. It's in a super location, with wonderful views of the mountains but within easy reach of the fabulous beach at La Franca, as well as the towns of St Vicente and Llanes where there are plenty of shops and restaurants. The hosts, Rosalina and Alberto, are so friendly and welcoming. Rosalina speaks a little English but it definitely helps if you can manage a few words of Spanish - not just true of the hotel but of the area as a whole. The breakfasts were plentiful and definitely set you up for the day. Everything was served to the table as opposed to a buffet style, which was lovely but it did feel too much some days. It included fresh orange juice, coffee, cake of various flavours, yogurt, toast, jam and ham. One of the issues of staying as long as we did was that the breakfasts did start to feel quite samey. The evening meals were good value - large portions of simple food. We found three courses too much, but there was the option to have two courses so once we'd learned our lesson we went for that option. To be fair though, we liked eating out in the various locations nearby, but you do need to drive to do that. And we found the small hotel car park full on our return, which was slightly irritating but not a big issue as there's a large free village car park just around the corner. Overall, we had a lovely stay, with a genuine feeling of being in someone's home rather than a hotel. Weather-wise it was a real mix, from pouring rain on our first day to unusual heat for the last few days. In the absence of air conditioning, a fan might have helped in the heat, but we got the impression it's quite unusual to be this hot.

Looking for paradise? Look no further. The scenery is around the agriturismo is spectacular, and Rosalina and Alberto couldn’t be more welcoming. Their place is comfortable and sparkling clean. The 3 course dinner including wine and homemade sidra was fabulous and priced much too low. They also provide a wonderful complimentary breakfast. Can’t recommend highly enough!

ENG: The experience at the hotel was wonderful. It is a very welcoming place, where you feel like staying more and more days. The room was beautiful and what to say about the bed... My couple loved the mattress, and to tell you the truth, so did I! But if there's one thing that stands out above all else, it's the owners, Rosalina and Alberto. During our stay they were super friendly and attentive, always aware of the needs of the customers. And the breakfasts? Incredible. Besides being exquisite, they are prepared on the spot by Alberto. Fresh fruit, homemade yoghurt, orange juice, tomato toast or homemade jams... And the sponge cakes that Rosalina prepares, which are delicious. In addition, if you have any food intolerance or allergies and you tell them, they try to adapt the breakfasts so that everyone can enjoy them. If, like us, you are going to walk 20km a day making visits, you will not go hungry, I promise. Besides, with previous notice, they also offer dinners in the hotel, which fortunately we ask for once, and again we promise you that they know a lot about cooking, always with first hand food and "kilometre 0", everything from the surroundings. On the other hand, they comply with the security measures against the Covid-19. Always with a mask and with hydroalcoholic gel dispensers in the establishment. Without doubt, it has been an experience to repeat, and we look forward to it. PS: Fantastic cider that you can try and buy made by Alberto and Rosalina in their "llagar", good experience is that visit in harvest season, will happen! Á miña parella encantoulle o colchón, e a verdade, !a min tamén!

This hotel is perfect. The lodging feels like staying in a well appointed home and the hosts are wonderful. The included breakfast is lovely and the optional dinner is very delicious too. Many options and good value for the price. The sidra made on site was one of my favorites!

Our stay in Valleoscuru was very pleasant. The owners will make you feel like home, and they gave us excellent information about what we could do in the area based on our interests. The restaurant is open for dinners, and it's excellent: although they don't publicize it much, most of the food is locally sourced or made by themselves, like yogurt , marmalade and cider. The hotel is a nice traditional wooden house with less than a dozen unique rooms, and common areas inside and outside.

We stayed here for two nights as part of our honeymoon and had a wonderful time. The couple that own it are so welcoming and hospitable. We had a gorgeous room with this lovely view over the mountains. The room was really warm and comfortable. Our stay included dinner on the first night which was really delicious. The stay also included yummy breakfast both mornings which includes cake, bread, tomatoes, jam and coffee/orange juice. Location wise it's fantastic, a short drive from the Picos de Europa national park plus loads of beautiful beaches. Truly a must place to stay!

This out-of-the-way guest hotel is a great place to unwind while seeing a quiet part of the Spanish countryside. The husband and wife team are very nice, and in addition to offering simple, home-cooked meals, sell their own ciders and vinegars. All rooms seem to require navigating stairs, with the upper rooms being reachable only by climbing up many narrow stairs with suitcases.

This is a charming and very comfortable country guest house in beautiful countryside. It is very Spanish - the very friendly and helpful owners, Alberto and Rosalina, speak just a little English and we were surrounded by Spanish guests. It is well located for exploring the region - both coast and the Picos de Europa. Our room had old fashioned charm and was clean and comfortable. There are places to relax inside and outside, the dining area was pleasant. Breakfast was simple, but good. Dinners - we opted for half board rather than drive a distance to find restaurants - were good, cooked by Rosalina, but quite plain food, salads, grilled meat or fish with chips, homemade desserts. I think we would have liked some more traditional local dish options. However we enjoyed Alberto’s cider with our meals! Overall a lovely place to stay!

This is an adorable small inn not far from the coast and the Picos de Europa Mountains. A darling couple own and run it together. It is an historic building that has been lovingly restored, simple but charming. It is spotlessly clean. We had a nice room with a view of the mountains and a small but very cute bathroom. There are several lovely common rooms and outdoor seating areas. There is a self serve bar in one of the rooms. The dinning room is just a treat to sit in. Rosalina prepares an excellent dinner each night if you wish and the breakfast is simple but delicious and fresh. Rosalina and Alberto are just the nicest people and run an excellent small good value hotel, We highly recommend it if you are in the area.
