This is a great hotel much better than the 2 stars it is given. The rooms are really spacious and we had a great view from our ist floor balcony. The pool was wonderful. No smell or taste of chlorine and really refreshing. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfasts are good with plenty of choice. We stayed in total for 5 nights. We ate in the restaurant every evening. Good value food and wine and again great service. Overall a great place to relax after a days walking in the mountains.

Right at the top of the village, for me this hotel was a little gem. My room was comfortable, quite spacious and with a large balcony with great views. The bathroom was just fine, with a lovely powerful shower and with water that leaves your hair all shiny! The original label for the cistern was only partly removed which rather spoiled the style of the bathroom! The hotel was peaceful, the breakfast excellent and the pool and pool area really well kept and a pleasure to spend time in. The staff were friendly and helpful. I would definitely come back here.

We had a sick young woman with us and the staff treated us really well. You get a feel for a place when something goes wrong. The staff at La Fragua II was flexible, helpful and always friendly. We really enjoyed the hikes from here. We wish the pool was open but really, it was still pretty cold in May. The breakfast was adequate so no issues there. Room was large with a beautiful view and was impeccably clean. They had very few power ports, so be aware of this if you have a lot of chargers to plug in. I always bring my power strip and we had what we needed. Enjoy.

We stayed at the hotel for a couple of nights on a hiking trip. It was great to have such a spacious room with a couple of comfy chairs - it was all very fresh and clean. We ate at the associated restaurant and the food was of a good standard and very efficient service. Breakfast let it down a little - the chap running it was a tad grumpy... Also it is advertised as having a swimming pool but it wasn't open in early May when we were there - too early in the season I imagine but it would be good if that was clear in the info blurb.
