I was really worried because of how many tripadvisor reviewers gave this place a 1. We picked it because of location close to event at State Farm Center. The staff was absolutely wonderful and responded to our needs. The room was set up a little strange with TV on a side wall, but it did fold out for easier viewing from the sofa - just hard to watch TV in bed. Breakfast was good with waffles and hot breakfast sandwiches, but wish it went past 9 a.m. The breakfast staff was on it - always replacing empty trays, filling the coffee carafe, etc. The stay was perfect for us to stay two nights and attend an event at State Farm Center, which is a very easy, safe walk away. We've decided we would also stay here again for return trip to the aquarium ( we bought the membership), but hope for lower rate than the almost $300 we had to pay because of the sell-out event and us waiting too late to book. Overall, it was a great option for us.

This is a nice place with exceptional customer service. Our room was clean and had great amenities for a 4 day stay. We had a nice fridge and a toaster! This hotel is in walking distance to all the main attractions plus the sporting arenas. You do pay 30 a day for parking in a garage a block down but it has security and it’s easily accessible so wasn’t a bad deal. If you need towels or refreshing they are very accommodating when you ask. When you stay go to Max’s coal pizza! It was delicious.

I had such an amazing stay at Home 2 Suites. The staff members were very nice and helpful. The room was beautiful. It came with a fridge/freezer and a dishwasher loaded with dishes if needed. I also had a great view of the sky view and Omni Hotel. It's walking distance from the State Farm arena and many more attractions. One recommendation, do not park in the parking garage that's in front of the hotel. They close sat&sun and will lock your car in the garage until they open on Monday. I recommend parking at the LAZ garage that's on the side of the hotel (Luckie st).

the basic comforts you want when you’re away from home are sorely lacking. The mattress was terribly uncomfortable. The towels were so stiff they could walk across the bathroom on their own. Kleenex and toilet paper like newsprint. Toilet ran all night. Poor lighting @ the desk but the bedside lamp was way too bright. Slow internet

The hotel service is by far one of the worst I have even encountered. There were no extra linens for pull out sofa (in a premium room) and had to wait until 11PM to get them. Also asked for extra towels as there was one set for two people. Towels never came. In fact for the next 4 days and we asked everyday for towels, coffee service, and soap and it never arrived. I cut my shelf shaving and stopped by the front desk to explain again there were not clean towels or coffee supplies. They said they would clean my room that day. When I got back there as a huge red biohazard bag on my door. During a Pandemic! Room was not cleaned and there were clean towels which included one towel, 3 hand towels, 2 bath matts, and no washcloths. When I contacted manager they said the bag was because of bodily fluids and this why they did not clean the room. It was insulting to say the least for one washcloth when the bed sheets in the hotels are most likely a hazard more than one washcloth. One morning while eating breakfast, they set the lights off and the coffee was higher empty or cold every morning. When I departed, the valet brought my car around. There are scooters on the sidewalk and the area is not clear of obstructions. The scooters fell on my car and did significant damage. On top off this, Atlanta has blocks that are sketchy to say the list and this hotel is in the area. Beware for Public Safety. While the staff we all kind, the hotel is so poorly managed, the treatment of guest is very concerning. In an 8 day stay, the room was cleaned once and only fresh towels were delivered once.

My boyfriend and I were in town for Atlanta Hawks & Boston’s game at the State Farm Arena. The location is very much convenient and we were able to walk. I was not a fan of the room. The bathroom had no ventilation so getting dressed, curling hair and doing makeup I literally had to step outside the bathroom multiple times to take breaks while getting dressed. The lightning in the actual bedroom area was very much poor. The sofa was very stained and noticeable, it was horrible. The humidity in the room was horrible. It caused me to have a dry cough the ENTIRE time I was in the room. The walls were very thin. We could hear the person on the opposite side of us showering for at least thirty minutes in the middle of the night. In the breakfast area, none of the utensils are wrapped up and there were other guest rambling through the utensils picking over them and putting them back. I’ve worked for a Home2 and I know how limited breakfast is but the breakfast was not presentable at all. No one mentions the payment for the parking which is not good, I was ticketed TWICE in a “FREE” parking zone. Again, I love the location but I wouldn’t stay again. I was very much dissatisfied with my stay. Although I’m a member the amenities weren’t provided during check-in. I literally had to lookup and/or call front desk the following day.

I am the CEO of a small business, and I flew my company to our Atlanta office for an all company event. All the out-of-towners stayed here as a large group. We were disappointed in the hotel.

Our complaints have nothing to do with the staff. From the booking staff, to the front desk, to the valets – everyone was professional and helpful throughout.

However, the hotel itself left a lot to be desired. Upon walking into my room, in the first light I reached for, the bulb was hanging by an exposed wire. I knew enough about home wiring to just fix it. After showering that evening, I looked up to realize my showerhead was covered in black mold, which I cleaned myself with a Clorox wipe. This was just the beginning.

Asking around to my staff, they had similar experiences. Couches had stains that led staff to say they didn’t want to use them. Many rooms had mold. One room had an empty gap where the microwave should be. One room had three fans because the air conditioning didn’t work! The shaky elevators that scared everyone became a bit of a joke. All told, I was embarrassed to have my staff in this hotel, given that it was supposed to be a treat to my staff to fly everyone to our Atlanta facility.

One of the evenings of my stay, I waited in the rain for an hour for the valet, while the gentleman working the front desk tried his best to assist me. It turned out that only one valet was working, so when the garage backed up due to a concert, there was no service for me or all the other folks waiting to have their cars parked. As my car has cameras built into it, I could see that my car was left on the street all night long from 10 PM to 6:30 AM before it was finally parked.

All told it seems like this hotel is understaffed. The staff that was present was great. So I’m led to believe that the other issues – from maintenance to cleaning – are also due to management trying to make it by with too few people. Given that the failures were on all fronts, the executive in charge of this location needs to take a hard look at their management practices, and likely increase their staffing.

This Home2suites has the worst unprofessional, management staff that lacks knowledge in customer service lacks knowledge in business ethics and basic communication. Tiffany the “house manager” is the worst I would never stay nor would I ever recommend that particular property to not even a stray dog. The General manager that reads the reviews set the example for her unprofessionalism as I contacted him from the property and he never replied justifying her poor unprofessional behavior.. As a diamond member Hilton would need to look at how these franchise are operating and how it reflects on your loyal members. Under no circumstances is it right for you to check me into a dirty room and when I bring it to your attention you in the capacity of a manager tell me “ we’ll go somewhere else what you want me to do”…. The room that I was placed in had a broken thermostat that stayed on 63 degrees the entire night… when you contact front desk because it was after hours it stayed on 63 degreees until check out… the worst Hilton experience ever.. after realizing that I was down town their are more nicer friendlier hotels available like Hampton inn and suites which is the sister property but has a more professional staff and equipped to ensure customer satisfaction.

The 3rd party vendor requires prepayment and does not match (overcharges) what hotel charges upon checkout. Nether the Hotel or 3rd Party vendor will work with customer to resolve and keeps the over payment. Poor customer service all around. Too bad! The hotel has nice accommodations.

I’ve stayed at this location twice and both times I enjoyed my stay. I like that the rooms have nice size refrigerators instead of the mini ones. The beds are comfortable as well. I slept good. I do think that valet parking should be one set price for the stay instead of $30 a night.

They have valet parking, but there is an associate price. There are parking lots nearby (on right across the street), but I'm not sure about rates.
