Came to visit the A for my birthday trip and let me say the hotel staff was phenomenal. Full of personality and good vibes. I really enjoyed my stay here. Special shout out to Kay at the front desk! He was amazing! From the moment we checked in his personality lit up the room. He made us feel extremely welcome and he was very excited to have us staying there. We stepped out a couple of nights and Kay made sure to let us know how fabulous we looked each time and that made me and my girls feel really good. He is a really good asset to this hotel staff. I couldn’t have asked for a better stay. This was such a nice hotel and in a great location downtown. Thank you so much for a fabulous birthday weekend. Until next time, ATL, peace!

We love this historic building and are staying here again after a brief hiatus because it has been refurbished and the rooms look and smell much better. The carpeting is clean and fresh As typical of this hotel there is a high rate of front desk turnover. We were greeted and checked in by a new person, Sharon, and she was terrific. She made sure everything was in place for multiple co-workers arriving on different days. Sharon also made sure we were satisfied with our room. We did have a water pressure problem and a drawer issue and when we returned out first night, both issues were promptly taken care of. The phone in our room did not work and there was a constant dial tone so we just unplugged it. There is only one working elevator which you think for busy Market week they would have had both elevators in good order. Bathroom tub and fixtures were new, clean and properly working. Price of room this week was steep but then again all downtown hotel prices are seriously overpriced during Market Week.

First time staying at this Hampton Inn in downtown Atlanta. The location is perfect. It is downtown just off the interstate but it was in a quiet area of town and within walking distance of so much to see! There was on-site self parking well lit parking lot adjacent to the hotel itself. The check-in and check-out service was fast and friendly. They were able to hold our luggage on the day we checked out as we wanted to stay parked there and walk to our event at the State Farm Arena. There was no problem with them for us to do that and it was a simple extra $10..00 to remain in the parking lot (well worth it compared to event parking rates!). The breakfast was hot and fresh with scrambled eggs, sausage patties, fruits, pastries and oatmeal. The hotel had eight floors and our floor (which was 6) was quiet and restful. The hotel is in a historical building and was completely renovated and modern. We were really pleased that so many things (Olympic Centennial Park and CNN) were just within walking distance. Restaurants were also within walking distance, as was the State Farm Arena. We'd recommend!

I stayed in room 301 a king bedded standard room for three nights while attending meetings in Atlanta
PRO's
• Good central location
• Clean
• Competitive rate for the area
• Decent bed
• 50” LG flatscreen
• Updated rooms feel current
• Good work desk with two plugs and two USB’s to power electronics
• Four outlets and 4 USB’s bedside to power electronics with clock
• Sharon did an excellent job “fixing the errors” from the night time attendant who checked me in. Very enthusiastic and helpful, she get’s an “A”
• Has cube fridge but no microwave
• Has workout room but no pool or whirlpool
CONS
• The night time attendant gets a “D”. She seemed unengaged during check in process, didn’t tie two concurrent reservations together, room key expired, parking pass not handed out, when it was the dates were wrong.
• Occasional sewer odor in bathroom
• This is an old property that has been renovated with OLD bones. Windows drafty
• Work chair is for short term use only. No power laptop sessions here..
• Room size is smaller than average
I would return here in the future, but there may be better choices nearby. Overall I would give this property an 87/100 and a 94/100 for value.

Sharon E. manageing from desk was awesome! We have a great stay. Our room was cleaned daily, many choices at at breakfast, hot waffles, hot oak meal and all kinds of Danish, fruits and more. Walking distance to some of the best restaurants, and my favoriteTV Networks "CNN" Headquarters was just up the street with plenty of some of everything.

Sharon our front fest associate left us with a grin from ear to ear each day we were here. She is the most thoughtful and genuinely caring person and excellent at making us feel so special. Our front desk associate at night is so caring and thoughtful. He was concerned about my going to my car to retrieve my watch after midnight and watched as I went and returned
Miss April and Miss Sharon made sure everything was hot and fresh each morning for our breakfast. These ladies made sure everything was well supplied and constantly monitored the dining area to make sure everything was perfect. Again they left us with that feeling of being special.
The housekeeping staff made sure all the amenities were well supplied and our towels and supplies beds were met each day
Again let us say this hotel is a great hotel and the staff are wonderful the reason

I stayed at the Hampton Inn Downtown Atlanta room 506 Lucas last name on a Census business trip. Sharon at the front desk make me feel so welcome and she had the best personality. She moved me to a room that was more comfortable bc my heating wasn’t working and also accommodated my children. She truly went above and beyond! Love you, Sharon! You made our stay!

Went to Atlanta to watch an NBA game at State Farm Arena. Chose this hotel as it was only a 10 minutes walk and was well priced. Glad that I did !
The rooms were very clean and comfortable, decent breakfast and car parking was only $25 a day and you parked your self in the on site lot. Coming in from Charleston it was an easy few minutes off the expressway and we were there. Very close to the Atlanta Streetcar to get to the King Historic District and a short walk to plenty of restaurants.
I really enjoyed Atlanta and wish I'd had more time. If I go back I'll be staying here.

Had a 2 queen + sofa room in the corner. The layout of the room was a bit strange, but roomy. The bathroom had 1 sink, a tub, Hilton seems to have switched to large shampoo, lotion, conditioner, bath gel and hand soap. The lotion in the room fell off the wall while we were there. Check-in was straight forward. Staff was helpful. Breakfast was normal Hampton fare, eggs, sausage links, potatoes, etc... waffles and mini waffle makers were available for use.
Less than 10 minute walk to Millenium Park, Work of Coca Cola and Aquarium.
Parking was $30 and we were told we could stay until 3-4pm with no issues.

Having stayed in multiple Hampton inns over the years, I would recommend looking elsewhere in Atlanta. While the location is good, there are many other properties conveniently located in the downtown area and close to the primary tourist sites. Furthermore there are numerous public parking garages in the area with lower daily cost.
Of primary concern was the bedding. The king size bed was dressed in queen size sheets which barely overlapped the side of the bed and came nowhere close to reaching the top of the bed. The mattress was soft but the worst aspect were pillows which must have been twenty or more years old.
After two days we requested the room be serviced and we’re told by front desk we were already on the schedule. Unfortunately upon returning late afternoon we discovered no service had been provided but housekeeping did provide fresh towels. Our assumption this error would be addressed the next day was incorrect and no housekeeping occurred during our four night stay.
This area has many options for higher class hotels with similar pricing. Look further.

Mini refrigerator as I recall. Contact the hotel.
There were no other fees in my reservation other than taxes. I paid what confirmation stated.
They ask for a credit card to guarantee the room when checking in but nothing was actually charged until check-out.
We are the Hampton Inn Downtown Atlanta. Although we are under the Hilton Brand we don't know any information about their property.
