The property is old but trying to be restored. It falls short..it’s an outdoor motel, no elevators, raggedy steps, dirty passageways, smells like weed, crazy layout with room access behind the bldgs - feels very unsafe. The room shows signs of age too - slow sink drain, weird smell, (they allow pets), rusty door hinges, rusty drain covers, water marks on the ceiling near the shower, questionable door lock. Parking is insufficient - had to walk far to the bldg. Nope. Definitely not worth the 4 stars in the rating.
Dirtiest hotel i have ever been. Never work, swimming pool is close like a long time. Except the reception, all other place are dirty. When we arrived there were no towels, soap and the smell of the room was overwhelming. Very dirty on the outside.
Summary: Blood, cigarettes, roaches, beer bottles, dust, broken locks and worst of all a staff that could not care less. Walking through the property to our room I'm pretty sure I saw a drug deal happening in the parking lot. There were cigarette butts all over the property, including the stairs leading up to our room on the 3rd floor, which by the way there is no elevator. Had to step over a beer bottle on one of the steps. Room had a strong cigarette smell when we entered, and then we saw a large blood stain by one of the night stands. We told the front desk person about the blood stain and she did not seemed alarmed at all. She merely stated she would have to put us in a different building. Entering the next room, the lock was partially busted, so you had to slam the door shut to lock it, however a large person could have easily ram the door open if they wanted to. Several lamps were missing light bulbs, others weren't plugged in, and there were no batteries in the TV remote. There was excessive dust everywhere, and the tub was disgusting. The carpet had a sticky dirty feeling to it, and when we pulled back the sheets there was someone else's long hair in the bed. Then we saw a giant cockroach in the bedroom, and promptly told the desk clerk what we saw this time, that we were checking out and needed a full refund. There was no apology and no concern. Run, find another place. I'm a Days Inn type of guy, but this was ridiculous.…
This may be the worst hotel experience I've ever had. We chose it as a dog friendly hotel without a crazy pet deposit, but never again. Despite everything looking and sounding great on your website, the hotel is almost the total opposite. First the property itself had garbage and dog poop everywhere, it looked like the grounds hadn't been cleaned in weeks. We were on the second floor and you could actually see rot on the steps that you had to climb to get to the landing. Lights were out all over the property, including our landing so it was totally black at night. Inside the room wasn't much better, it smelled badly of cigarette smoke even though it's supposed to be a smoke-free property. And the absolute worst was the bathtub / shower was completely unusable. The entire ceiling was covered in a huge rust stain that was leaking rusty water from the light fixture over the tub into the tub. Even if that wasn't there, there was no shower curtain. We called the office and all they said was that's really a problem but there was nothing they could do. It was late and we were only there one night, or we would have left immediately. We couldn't get out fast enough in the morning.…
We stayed at the Sonesta because I am familiar with the brand and have always been pleased. This is the one exception. We stayed for 8 nights, and my biggest mistake was that i did not refuse the room the first night. The smell of cigarettes and dog was horrible. I kicked myself every time I entered the room and only have myself to blame. Should have spoke up sooner. The property has the potential to be great, the concept is great home away from home but the room was shabby - the carpet and furniture all need to be replaced. The property was not well maintained trash cans were over flowing, the clientele questionable. Afraid I will have to pass on this one next time.
Stayed 3 nights, picked this hotel for location to my surgery center. Stayed in the room those days. Some trash outside and cigarette butts all over. Upon entering the room I was greeted with a nasty smell which I eventually traced to the garbage disposal. Went and bought disposal cleaner and ran it twice to get rid of the smell. Toilet was one of those slow flushes. Shower faucet handle was broken, had to figure out how to get into turn on and get hot. Furniture has seen better days, carpet super nasty as I wore a pair of socks the first two days walking around the room, when I took them off and saw how dirty they got I was surprised, looked I went and walked around outside. Bedroom door was hanging on by a few loose screws. Night time activities were somewhat quiet the first night then the second and third consisted of yelling, stomping and slamming doors until 3:30 am. The bed sheets and towels were clean and it had a somewhat full size refrigerator. You would think with all the virus stuff they would clean the carpets??? Overall guess it's up to you if I can tolerate the issues I had.…
The lying cold staff, the inattention to cleanliness and safety, the lack of following up the lack of resources, There were 2 baked potatoes and only one fork in the drawer and asked for one and never got one so purchased some cutlery, I went to get extra towels but they didn't have any, the measuring cups were left dirty and unwashed. The window was left open, there was no extra linen for the sofa bed ands there looked to be a blood stain in the sofa bed mattress. When I attempted to ask the front desk staff for a manger, she said she was one of them but when I express my issues, she quickly said call this manager, unusual , since she claimed to be a manager didn't even care to call housekeeping then, but she was the one I told about the missing fork, Just a lack of diligent customer care.…
Me and my two daughters and my best friend and her daughter came in for a weekend stay just to get away, We drove in 7 hours so it was extremely long day. When we arrived it was approximately 6 pm the lobby was locked had to call to get let in that was alarming, I reserved two one bed room suites however when I came into book the guest service man said I only had one. I showed him my reservation confirmation where it clearly stated I reserved two. The man literally gave me the keys said oh well nothing I can do about that. I was appalled!!! I asked was there any other available he simply unapologetically stated no. Now I’m frustrated I ask is there anyone else I can speak to again simply no. So I take the key to the room And proceed to at least see if I can make this work. Goes to room one bed one super raggedy sofa bed. It wasn’t going to work. So I goes back to my car and proceed to call number on back of the hotel key. The lady at that number was kinder but she said she couldn’t help I had to call book it, After 41 minutes I get In touch with book it. They told me if I put my friends name in as guest the second room is probably under her name, he was going to put me on hold and called hotel,That made since so I got in my car proceeded to go back to lobby it’s now almost 8 pm. I’m on the phone with book it I hear the phone continues to ring but no one is around to answer. Book it comes back on my line explains their not answering phone told him I understood cause I was standing there listening to it ring. About 20 mins later guy walks in lobby I’m Still on phone with book it so I tell them to call now. They talk 3 mins later he hands me a key says he figured that’s what was going on. I was so confused as to why he never suggested it then. I was not impressed with the room at all the pictures were very deceitful. I asked for me and my friends room to be close she was behind me and you had to walk down a dark alley way to get there that had no light. Really inconvenience we couldn’t see each other after dark. The shower was dirty as well as dinning room table. And I had towels with red stains on them. About towels and wash rags they was far and few. The room supposedly sleeps 4 however they gave us two towels and. and two face rags. When I walked all the way to the lobby to get more the lady was not kind about it after I called and she told me to walk over. She also said in order to get clean the next day I would have to bring the dirty ones in and exchange. Also they should stop advertising breakfast served that wasn’t the case it was a brown sack with an apple, nutrigrain bar, muffin and water. No options you got what you got. Overall Atlanta was great but I will never stay in this hotel ever in any state.…
Website claims luxury suites, what a joke! We paid over 1000 dollars for 5 days in motel hell. Both toilet seats were falling off, one toilet was loose, kitchen sink was clogged the entire time with no remedy, garbage everywhere in the complex, linens laying around the parking lot, stairs to floors rotting and falling apart (guest even fell through one of them). Filthy walls and doors, couch so nasty I bought a sheet to put over it, chair had a big hole in it part of the rug was frayed and looked like it hadn’t been cleaned since the last century. Loud obnoxious guests for 3 days straight who smoked enough weed to kill Bob Marley and drank enough Patron for the entire country of Mexico all while standing outside until 5am screaming, yelling, slamming doors, Running up and down the stairs (apparently they had a 2 rooms) inviting outside guests over who would show up at 4o’clock in the morning.…
As I checked in, the warm welcoming of (All) the staff was very attentive to accommodate me even up to now which for me that is a plus and very important with customer service, their professional and courteous demeanors are superb. There are no complaints whatsoever, not even agaist housekeeping and maintainence grounds works they are also very kind and catering to the needs of whatever is requested. It is quiet and like staying at a resort with a pleasant atmosphere, more like a staycation while I get to work from home. Also for me, I cannot stand smoke so I have to say that I am well pleased about the non-smoking policy on this property which helps a great deal regarding the upkeep of the rooms. The location is perfect for commuting on foot, public transportation, and driving with convenience to the Perimeter mall, restaraunts and supermarkets if you choose to cook your own food. I recommend choosing this location if you don't want to be disturbed by wild parties, loud unneccessary noises and lewdness etc. All respect and credit due to the management team operating this property…
