Situated near the Georgia World Congress Center, Signia by Hilton Atlanta is a hotel that's garnered appreciation for its stylish atmosphere and modern amenities. However, guests have had a mixed experience, citing clean yet sometimes inconsistently maintained rooms, and service that ranges from attentive to disappointingly slow.
While the decor and location are praised, noise can disrupt the tranquil ambiance, and the elevator system has been a point of contention. Travelers also note that the value proposition is undermined by high costs for parking and amenities, alongside issues that detract from the overall upscale experience.

Detailed Reviews
There is real potential here to be an excellent option in downtown Atlanta. I consider our stay part of their “soft opening.” Front of the house is already impressive. Kind and friendly. From check in, to housekeeping, to security. Additional training would help improve the consistency of information provided, but they have Southern hospitality down pat. It’s also a good looking hotel. Large and busy lobby, restaurants on the 4th floor, expansive gym on the 5th floor. The rooms are nicely sized, w/ pleasantly modern decor and a great bathroom — all brand new, clean and comfortable.
A few issues. The shower bracket had either ripped off or fallen off of the wall so we had to pry the bottles out to use them. We could not not override the temp control to cool the room, and our in-room wifi login never worked. Also, no room service yet.
We impulsively added Club Signia at check-in and it still needs a little more oomph to make it worth $150 per night (it’s not included with status). Despite the website description, there is no difference between a regular guest room and a Club Signia room. No room upgrades, no welcome gift, no in room extras, no premium wifi. We also never heard from our Club Signia ambassador during our stay and at times guest services did not answer when we called. However, the staff in the Club lounge is absolutely wonderful, and the breakfasts were good though no specialty coffees were available (broken machine). The other meals/snacks were fine as well but not worth missing out on Atlanta’s restaurant scene. Alcohol is included so $150 per night might be worth it if you plan to hang out to drink at their bar (we did not).
As I said, there’s a lot of potential here & also room for improvement. 3.5 stars, rounded to 4.

Hidden fees beware…Beautiful grand hotel upon arrival.
Positives: clean, staff In restaurants nice, app feature nice when asking a question. Attached to conference rooms and obviously the arena. Food in the restaurant was tasty. Nice gym and spacious.
Negatives: nothing great about valet, price $60/night and very inconvenient to request car or get car out. I think there’s an extra fee as well. Valet seemed to be working extra hard but the demand is too much for the space and number of requests. Once you’re in hotel that’s it. Not possible to walk anywhere or take your car. I guess plan to Uber but that’s annoying if you have a car in the building and paying that much for valet. I can see 20 or 30 dollars but 60? Yikes!
Food situation: I double checked twice and upon morning when in a rush to get to your event the only food open is the market (line too long) (coffee, cookie and chips mostly). No breakfast open and I found out there’s a special room for another $150 a night for bfast.. My app indicates I get a continental bfast at Signia but the normal place wasn’t open and there was no notice for this and obviously it’s very inconvenient to go elsewhere. I went to talk to the desk and she said yes we just found out too and closed for renovation- how’s that possible when it’s only 3 months old. I was shocked they wouldn’t let me go into the special room given I needed something really quick for my child. If you decide to come here just be prepared to spend more and if that doesn’t bother you then you’re good. Mom’s if you’re here for a kid event pack a cooler of food to make it easier. (But bummer when already spending so much).

We were guest of Signia Atlanta this past weekend. Although the accommodation's are beautiful and the staff is friendly and helpful we were disappointed to learn there is a $60 daily fee to valet your vehicle and there are no microwaves in the rooms. The valet fee should've been disclose at check-in or when the keys were handed over.

Dear Shelthema. Thank you for choosing Signia by Hilton Atlanta Georgia World Congress Center to host your recent weekend stay. We're happy that you appreciated our comfortable accommodations and the friendly hospitality our team provided. However, we're sorry to hear you were disappointed with our valet charges; this fee is posted on our website to ensure guests are aware prior to arrival, as well as detailed in the booking information but we will certainly address your feedback internally to review how this can be better communicated during the check-in process. Stayed here for an event as this was the host hotel. The hotel is a new hotel and was nice to be right near the event. During the weekend the city of Atlanta was without water for two days. The hotel did not inform the guest of the portable toilets brought in to use or I am not even sure they provided the toilets, I believe the event sponsors provided them for the event. Therefore we had no working toilets. Traveling in from out of state required the need to find and pay additional money to shower elsewhere which was a pain as we had to travel outside of the city limits to get water. Causing you to be late to events and spend more money in transportation which was the purpose of booking the host hotel. Basically the entire surroundings hotels were without water and the ones that had water were booked. When I asked the hotel staff at the desk if we would be compensated for no water or air I was rudely told three times no I could check out and book another hotel somewhere else. Very inappropriate to say to your guest who is staying in a place with no running water, unable to flush toilets and no air conditioning. Truly a health situation. I believe Hilton could have come up with a contingency plan. Brought in gallons of water to flush the toilets or fans for air circulation or something, but they did nothing. Truly horrible I was so ready to leave when checkout on Sunday. The customer service is not good and a reflection on Hilton's brand. I know the water was not under their control, but customer service is and there should have been a contingency plan in place. Possibly shuttles to other Hilton properties for showers something more, but they did nothing. Truly unacceptable and being rude was out of line.
Room was ok. Normal hotel room. Not enough light in bathroom very dark. Just ok. Very over priced, paying for location. I would stay at other hotels in the area as this is just a normal Hilton just paying for location

Dear Andrea, We deeply regret any inconvenience you may have experienced during the city-wide water outage Friday, May 31 – June 1. We worked diligently with the City of Atlanta to mitigate the impact of your stay while also providing you and other guests with water, food, and other accommodations. Your well-being, comfort, and satisfaction were our top priorities over the weekend, and we recognize that such interruptions can be frustrating. Thank you once again for your understanding and for choosing Signia by Hilton Atlanta. We look forward to welcoming you back.

Just returned from a 3 night stay for a convention in the hotel. The facilities are absolutely beautiful, the staff nice and Chef Sam and the food service team provided Vegan Jain food for more than 3 days that was spectacularly presented, creative and plentiful. The rooms are quite nice, meeting rooms also nice and the ballroom enormous and lovely. They are clearly still working on establishing some of the facilities to their final form.
What could be better -
- needing the room key to ride up AND down the elevators is annoying, especially that the sensors for the keys are not great and location is too low to be convenient, especially if you have something else in your hands.
- housekeeping could be a bit more attentive, they made up our room without making the bed once

We were in town for a huge cheer competition. Booked this hotel for convenience because it is connected to the convention center. The first night here, our power went out as we got into bed. When I called guest services from my cell to ask for help, the woman on the phone was so extremely rude to me multiple times. Wouldn’t give me her name. Told me “I can’t call maintenance if you keep calling me”. No one ever came up. The power finally came back on 2 hours later. The SAME EXACT issue occurred the next two nights. And one time during the afternoon as well. 4 times total that I’m aware of. I’ve spoken to front desk staff, managers, head of maintenance, and all they tried to offer me was a $15 room credit for breakfast. I am in utter disbelief that no one has offered any other type of compensation or even offered to switch our room after it happened the 2nd time. This hotel is brand new and definitely has some kinks it needs to work out but mostly, they need customer service staff that actually know how to speak to customers. When I check out tomorrow morning, I will be letting the manager on duty know what has been going on and I will be contacting customer service through Hilton. this entire stay was a mess from start to finish. Highly recommend staying somewhere else if possible

Mary in housekeeping was exceptionally accommodating. Even though the water situation was beyond anyone’s control in the Hotel she went above and beyond to make sure we had what we needed in our room due to the uncontrollable insinuating conditions. Mary greeted us with a smile and responded in such a hospitable and gracious manner. She deserves accolades as she has shown that she will go above and beyond to make sure guest are well prepared for their hotel stay whether long term or short.

This place is not worth the money. TV in our room did not work and the room phone to call guest services did not work. Elevators are constantly getting stuck, wifi, and the hotels systems kept going down. Hotel is still under construction with noise throughout the night. Hotel security is constantly nagging people about the way they sit on the furniture or if a child does not have shoes on. Valet misplaced our car keys.

The hotel is nice BUT...IF you are driving a car DO NOT COUNT ON PARKING! we arrived at our check-in hour only to be told that the valet parking lot was full due to multiple events that night. So we had to find our own overnight parking which is incredibly hard in downtown Atlanta - first, they told us to go to 'the red deck' which was behind the hotel (about a 15 min walk) but the red deck informed us they didn't offer overnight parking. I called the hotel and was told about an overnight deck on the other side of Atlanta which was next to a Marta station so I could take Marta from the deck to the hotel (!) . This was totally unacceptable. So after paying $500/night for a room I had to drive around downtown atlanta searching for a sketchy surface lot to park my car overnight - and get up at 6 AM to pay so my car wasn't booted. Terrible experience. I lost a couple of hours and missed the first part of my event. I would never ever have booked this hotel if I knew there was no parking available.
