The Hyatt Place Atlanta / Centennial Park is often praised for its clean and comfortable ambiance, though guests suggest it could use some modern touches. While the spacious rooms receive compliments for their tidiness, there are occasional mentions of worn furnishings and cleaning service lapses. The hotel's location is a hit for its convenience to local attractions, yet the high cost of parking and the presence of homelessness nearby are drawbacks for some. Travelers enjoy the friendly staff and security measures, but the overall value is questioned, with many finding the room rates and valet fees steep.

My husband and I stayed at the Hyatt for our Atlanta aquarium visit. The hotel is pet-friendly, valet ($38 a day), and friendly staff. The room was quiet considering it was at 100% occupancy. Housekeeping and guest services were able to check us in early (more time at the aquarium). The hotel bar has excellent service. Ivan was fantastic! The only downside to our visit was the cost of our room for one night.

My husband and I were there towards the end of September, easy check in and check out, friendly staff! This hotel was a nice surprise as we don’t usually stay at Hyatt’s but I would definitely stay here again. The location was fantastic. The Georgia aquarium was across the street along with the world of Coca-Cola, CNN, civil rights center, and the centennial park. The room was great, had a beautiful view of Atlanta’s skyline, really enjoyed looking out at that once night fell. Beautiful, clean and modern accommodations! Due to Covid they still do not allow housekeeping in the rooms but it is easy to get clean towels through the front desk or asking a housekeeper in the hallway. We were happy to see that breakfast started again! They offered many choices including hot and cold items, and a large area to sit and relax.

My family and I had a wonderful stay! The staff were extremely helpful and even pointed us towards some amazing restaurants in the area when we couldn't decide where to go for dinner. The valet was expensive, but the staff there were so helpful around the clock in letting us take things in and out of our car when needed. One employee at the front desk even searched frantically for an umbrella we had lost, and chased us down in the parking garage to show us an umbrella they had found that she thought might be ours. 10/10, would absolutely stay again.

10 minutes before I arrived I checked in via the Hyatt app, so my room would be ready by the time we arrived. When we got there I was told there would be a $38 per night parking fee which would be deducted from the $50 per night incidental fee which was ok until we got to our room which hadn't been vacuumed, sheets were stained, the shower curtains were filthy & my bath linen was dingy. I was livid after paying $439 for a 2 night stay in which I would lose part of if I'd canceled. This was the worst experience with the Hyatt name I've ever had & generally we only book with Hyatt or Springhill Suites so my expectations of what I'm use to was crushed. Not to mention we had to run down 10 flights of stairs only to find out the fire alarm that went off while I was napping was false.

These were not cheap rooms at all and even though they have changed their policies, they haven't lowered their prices to match the limited services and amenities. Room was never cleaned because the option was every 4 days or never and we were only there for 4 days. So garbage cans were over , none of the lotions/soaps/shampoo's were ever replaced. We had to put the towels outside the room to have them picked up but the house keepers on the floors couldn't give us clean towels, and we had to go to the front desk for those. The full service.restaurant and bar would not full service. If they had lowered the price to match what the services were, that would have helped.

On the upside, the house keepers were awesome and you know they would have love to been able to come in and clean

Due to covid as of June '21, room cleaning throughout our 3 night stay not an option despite soiled sheets/sticky floors upon checkin. Told to come to desk to get fresh linens and toiletries, then handed a 2ft stack of linens and filmsy ice bucket bag full of soaps to bring back to the room myself while juggling room key needed for elevator and room access. Needless to say, poor customer service. Close to the aquarium but so are half dozen other options that may treat you like a guest not a nuance.

We stayed for two evenings. Everything seemed fairly new. Comfy beds and pillows; spacious rooms. Breakfast was great on Saturday but not as good on Sunday (lukewarm food, out of items); however, staff were constantly working and cleaning. This location was perfect for our plans to visit the Georgia Aquarium (2 min. walk) and State Farm Arena (10 min walk). I would definitely recommend this location.

We had a great stay at Hyatt Place in Atlanta. Room was clean, staff was attentive when needed, and amenities were satisfying. As an additional bonus, the hotel in my opinion was much better than most other hotels considering everything was grab and go if needed. They had breakfast sandwiches, yogurt, cereals, oatmeal, and beverages readily available and replenished as needed. The location of this hotel is a sweet spot considering it is right across the street from many popular places including the GA aquarium and Coca Cola world. The only negative thing about this hotel is that valet parking is $38, and you are charged upon checking in. If you don’t use the parking, it will be credited back to your card after your stay. I used the valet parking and the attendants were all welcoming and respectful. I would also like to note that valet is 24/7, you get to access your car when needed and can pull in and out of the lot if needed without getting additional charges, and is MUCH MUCH safer than parking elsewhere as this is a private lot managed by the hotel staff. I would recommend and visit again if I stop by Atlanta.

We traveled to Atlanta on a long weekend family vacation. The hotel was outstanding! The rooms were clean and comfortable. The bathroom was spotless. The service was friendly and professional. The valet price was a bit pricey $38.00, but we felt very safe. We would definitely stay at this Hyatt Place again!

Well, let me start by saying that most of the staff were friendly. It's located within walking proximity to businesses, restaurants, tourist attractions & literally right across the street from the GA Aquarium. Parking was $38.00 a day & not optional (or at least it wasn't during our stay). When trying to leave - pulling out from the garage was difficult because the restaurant next to it kept a line of patrons which obstructed the view of oncoming traffic. Next, noise from outside & adjacent rooms were heard a little. The room my family occupied had a nice view of some of the restaurants, the aquarium, the stadium, etc. The lobby & restaurant areas were nicely decorated and the valet servicemen were gracious (as they should given the parking fee 😄). The room had a coffee maker & fridge, but no microwave. The fridge barely kept our items cool, but there was an ice machine on the 5th floor. The adjustable shower head made up for that disappointment (I guess). Lastly, I'm a fan of full size items, therefore the small table top ironing board did not score any points. The shows on the television looked 3D & the AC was great! The bed allowed for a good night's sleep or all of our sightseeing had us wore out.😁😁Overall it was a nice stay for my family.

We walked to the arena. It was a nice little 10 minute walk. No kitchen inside our room and we flew in so I’m it sure about parking. I did hear someone talking about the parking prices being a little high. Very nice hotel!!
