Stayed for two nights over Valentine's Day weekend for quick weekend get away with hubby. Overall very good stay. We had room 730.

Check in was super fast and friendly, Traci at the front desk provided exceptional customer service with a smile.

Our room was clean and modern looking with sitting area, desk area, and bedroom area. Bathroom placement and door type does provide a little less privacy then most other configurations. Coffee pot with pods were provided and small fridge. Cleaning forgot to restock shampoo and conditioner items when setting up our room, but I had my own so no issue for me. We also kept our do not disturb sign out since we were not worried about cleaning for our one full day there so no other experience with housekeeping. Storage space for cloths is limited so longer stays could be an issue.

Our room overlooked a parking lot and night club (on west side of building). Noise from the night club and traffic could be heard into the early morning hours. I always sleep with earplugs since hubby snores so did not bother me, but he said he could hear it all night. I would request a hotel on different side of hotel if staying here. Hotel right across street from aquarium which is why went to Atlanta so great for that.

Breakfast was good but exactly the same both days we were there. Ladies handling breakfast area were friendly and worked very hard to keep items stocked and clean. The hotel was handling some kind of cheerleading completion participants while we were there so there were a LOT of young girls and family and it was very busy, but they did an outstanding job keeping up with it. MYO waffles, grits, eggs, sausage, cereal, fresh fruit yogurt, breads, and oatmeal with toppings all available. Plenty to get you going.

Check out was our one main negative experience and why I did not give 5 stars. The person working the front desk had a bit of an attitude problem. She seemed bothered to be doing her job. When we were leaving she asked if we wanted a hard copy of our statement and luckily I said yes. We were charged $70 for 2 vallet parkings. When we calmly expressed our issue and indicated we had no car (we used uber to and from hotel from airport), she got somewhat snotty and said I didn't charge it don't blame me..and snapped the bill out of my hand and said she would fix it. Her entire attitude while she was "helping" was very off putting.

Overall a decent stay but daytime front desk staff needs some attitude training and houskeeping needs to pay closer attention to the details and make sure the room is reset with all supplies. Make sure to ask for room on opposite side of hotel from nightclub.

Also, after my experience I would suggest getting a hard copy of your bill before leaving and checking it carefully.

Let me start off by saying I’m a Marriott Loyalist who knows brand standards. We recently stayed here. The room size was smaller than other Springhill Suites but the configuration made it very spacious and roomy. The room didn’t have a full kitchen just mini refrigerator and microwave. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The linens were soft and clean as well. The bathroom was a good size and the standup shower was large. The hotel wasn’t busy considering the prime location. The location is great... you are walking distance to all the major attractions in downtown Atlanta. The room had views of MB Stadium, Aquarium, The Eye, and the World of Coke.. which was great. The registration entrance is confusing, especially while being picked up for ride share service. The breakfast is good, buffet stayed clean, and is open later than most Marriotts on the weekend. A special thanks to Aminah, Keke, and Ms. Joyce, they all went above and beyond to take care of my family during our stay. Spring Hill Suites needs more wonderful staff like these women.Thank you!! Overall, we will return to the hotel.

I absolutely love this hotel. It’s the second time I have stayed here for work. The location is convenient to places we can walk to and all the employees are incredibly hospitable. Michele, Aminah, Xianna and Joyce particularly have gone over and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable. The breakfast was delicious too!

First, this hotel is located perfectly for seeing the attractions in downtown Atlanta and you can get some of the most amazing views of downtown if you are on the front of the hotel on the top floors! Second, those are the only good things I can say about this hotel, especially one so new. Here are some of the highlights of our stay. 12 or 13 gunshots on the street behind the hotel the night we checked in, food left in the refrigerator, sticky countertops, street racers revving their engines and flying down the street in front of the hotel most of the night, sirens 4 or 5 times a night, flying past the hotel, local tv channels kept going out in the morning, and hot water took over a minute and a half at the low flow bathroom faucet, and finally no in room safes for our valuables. You have to get the grab and go breakfast (another phrase for cold breakfast) early or anything worthwhile is gone. The hotel is severely understaffed due to COVID, the maintenance engineer lives an hour and a half away so if you have a problem plan on a wait. You can hear noise through the walls and we thought Bigfoot in combat boots was either above us or next door. Finally, we put in a couple simple requests when we made the reservation through the web site 3 weeks in advance but they were completely ignored, 2 extra pillows, some extra towels and a room on a high floor. Pretty simple stuff.

The funniest part was we finally got pillows and towels about 10:45 pm the night we checked in but when the cleaning staff came to reclean the room the next morning (after I complained about the cleanliness of the room) they took away the extra pillows and towels. We could only laugh!

The bright spots were the general manager who tried to assist us with all our issues and the front desk person who checked us in. She was quick and efficient and was really on the ball. If you are going to the aquarium or cnn center or Coca-Cola I would suggest you look elsewhere. There are 4 or 5 properties as close to the attractions that must be better.

Very modern look hotel but not a 5 star hotel as claimed. I have a gold elite status and no gift was given to me, no pillows or bed linen provided as per my request. reservation was for 5 adults and only 3 sets of bed linen, pillows and towels available. Called to get the missing linen, pillows and towels and only delivered half about an hour and a half later pass 10:30pm. The shower door handle was broken and one of our family members got stuck inside the shower because of the broken handle. Continental breakfast was great. staff was friendly.

This was my first time ever in Atlanta, George at a Springhill Suites by Marriott. While my time in Atlanta, Georgia was nice and everyone in this city/state is very friendly, unfortunately I cannot say the same about their front desk customer services. I stayed in room 404 and someone at the front desk that answer my concern through the chat option on the Marriott app is super rude and blamed me. I booked 3 nights at this hotel that includes a king size bed and a sofa bed. I was very grateful since our plane landed at 6AM and the front desk male staff allowed us to check in early (around 8:00AM). However, when we went into the room, I noticed that there was only a queen size bed and no sofa bed/couch. The room only included two side tables, a desk with a Keriug machine and a stool and that was it. I reached out to someone on the app and that staff said they were fully booked and that we can check out now and they can later on give us another room around 2-3PM. Since it is during the pandemic, I tried to be be understanding and said it was fine and that I will just keep the certain room I was in. I felt that this would of saved the hassle of housekeeping to clean/santize/disinfect the room again. I asked for a discount since the room I booked is suppose to come with a sofa bed but they said they could not offer it since it was prebooked. I basically paid for a room that did not include everything that it said it will. At the end, I was okay with it and left it at that. The front desk staff then replied to me and said that next time I should call them ahead of time so they can accommodate me better. Excuse me? That was super rude and that comment made it seem that they were blaming me for not calling ahead of time which was why the sofa bed is missing. I shouldn't have to call ahead of time for anything. What I book in my reservation should come with everything that is listed in the room when I check in. This is basic knowledge. Good customer should of ended the conversation with something like we apologize for the inconvenience and hope you enjoy your stay and let us know if you need anything else. Not a rude comment with how I should call ahead of time next time. WTF? There is definitely no next time. It is not my responsbility as a customer to call ahead and ask them to double check anything. It just does not make sense. I was already super grateful that they were able to let me check in early and I didn't make a big deal about switching rooms or about any of the other issues in room 404 such why as why is there a queen bed instead of a king size bed, why the trashcans aren't lined with a plastic bag, why is the are sticky, why there are stains on the towel, why is there a light bulb missing or why there is no shower gel. Also housekeeping did not even come back to change our towels the last 2 days. They only came once. At the end, I was okay with all these issues in the room yet it seems like I was the blame for not calling ahead of time? Complete BS. I definitely do not recommend their customer services. The only positive thing I can say is that valet parking staffs were really friendly which I appreciate.

We got a great value for the room and location, but that value became less great after the service.

First, bedding for the pull-out wasn't included for our 5th person who was included on the reservation. In fact, only 2 towels were. And we had to go down to the front desk to get it ourselves; they wouldn't bring it up to our room. Maybe short staffed from the Pandemic?

Worst was that there was parking around the corner on the same block as the hotel just outside the entrance to the parking garage which seems to be operated by not Marriott. They were charging $40, but why not take up the street parking right there? So we did the first day. Next day after running some errands, I came back to park and the valet attendant said we couldn't park there–a public street–because they needed to have room to move cars around. She threatened to tow our car. She would have no right, but I didn't want to get into it much with her. Sucks that Atlanta's tax dollars are supporting a private parking company. Parked a block away, kept my 40 bucks.

Hotel was clean and nice. Room was a little crowded, but we were 5 people, so what can we expect.

We had a great stay at this Springhill Suites. It was so convenient for going to the aquarium across the street. They provided a pack n play for us and the room was clean and comfy. We especially appreciated the breakfast - the best we’ve had at a hotel. They had a great variety of foods (nice when some in our family have food allergies) and there were two friendly ladies, Kee-Kee and Aminah, who did a great job keeping everything stocked and clean. Everyone working there was friendly and attentive so we’d definitely come back!

The valet staff was the highlight of our stay! Ashley and crew (I’d mention them all by name but they were so efficient I didn’t get a chance to talk to them individually) were very professional and courteous. If they could train the rest of the staff, Springhill would greatly improve. The front desk was efficient on checking us in but that’s where it ended. The front desk staff were courteous for the most part but after two calls to the front desk and two visits in person we barely received enough towels and coffee to make it through our morning rituals. As I write this review I am reminded that I don’t ask form more than I deserve but there are certain expectations I have especially when the service doesn’t match the cost. Which was a surprise since the establishment was very clean. Unfortunately we will probably seek other accommodations on our next visit to the Georgia Aquarium. Again, great job Ashley and crew!

I held a breakfast for my customers at this venue that began at 7:30AM on a Wednesday morning. We needed more chairs in the room (per our agreed to capacity) and did not have any coffee or water for our guests (also had agreed to have this delivered by 7:15AM). Justice was working the front desk. He arranged for the building manager to bring chairs to our room. Justice also made coffee and brought down water for our group. At the same time, Justice assisted other guests at the front desk. He has fantastic multi-tasking skills. He also truly understands hospitality and how to make guests feel welcome. Justice put me at ease with his speedy actions that helped make our breakfast an instant success!
