Hotel Clermont receives high marks for its unique amenities, including a rooftop bar and on-site dining options, all set in a location that guests find perfect for exploring nearby attractions. While the hotel's rooms are recognized for their distinct charm, some visitors have issues with noise and decor. The atmosphere is lively, which contributes to the occasional noise concern.
Cleanliness is a standout feature, with rooms that are both spacious and stylish. Service at Hotel Clermont is frequently commended for being friendly and attentive, ensuring a memorable stay. However, guests should be mindful of extra costs like valet parking.

This hotel has it all down to the very last detail even thinking of setting out ear plugs by the bed. It is by far the best decorated hotel I’ve ever seen and they nailed it with the customer service. Parking is tricky so be prepared to valet, but it’s totally worth it. I seriously loved everything. The toiletries, the decor, the dimmable bedside lamps, the wardrobe closet. The size was great. Even the elevators are stinkin CUTE! If I ever go back to Atlanta, I won’t even consider staying anywhere else.

This was my first time staying at Hotel Claremont, and it was AMAZING. Not only was the staff so friendly, but Liz Young was incredible to work with. The hotel itself has so much history, and is a cool, little spot for an overnight evening or a week long trip. All the decor was thought out perfectly, from the freshly laid out towels in the bathroom, to the water glasses with a water bottle on the nightstand. You can tell they really put a lot of effort into making sure their guests are well taken care of. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone! Take a moment and support our local businesses-especially in this time of need. It will be well worth it!

I love the Hotel Clermont I love the building itself-if it’s retro feel and cozy quarters. I love the comfort of the bed and the charming decor, the strength of the shower and the lighting in the bathroom. I love the friendly staff and convenient Cafe, the coffee maker they provided upon request and the French restaurant on the property that provides some of the best food in Southeast. the valet is helpful but you don’t need a car at all since its location is so easy to use that everything is accessible through walking or rideshare. The roof is spectacular and the gym is great but if you are looking for outside aventures you can find fantastic pilates classes, wonderful massages excellent food, shopping and museums all within a mile or two. Whether it’s a weekend getaway or a month-long stay the Clermont is a great place to tuck in or venture out from.

The last time I stayed at the Clermont was in 2007, before the renovation, when the rooms cost approximately $100 a night, and for my recent two night stay, the bill was over $1,000, excluding amenities.
The hotel now looks completely different and the renovation is absolutely beautiful. The restaurant, Tiny Lou's, looks great and the menu looks terrific, but even though I had a table for myself and a friend, there was no valet or street parking available for my guest, so I was unable to dine there, which was disappointing.
If one is looking for a 24 hour party palace and loves constant commotion and endless the noise of loud human voices, the Clermont is perfect. I stayed in Room 206, which is front facing, and the noise would start at 8 or 9 in the morning and go on until 3 or 4. The earplugs provided did not eliminate the noise.
If one wishes to stay at the Clermont, which is a beautiful hotel in a good location, I would suggest that you request a room that is as far from the endless commotion as possible.
I remember feeling better rested at the Clermont before the renovation when the hotel only cost around $100 a night. For my recent visit, I paid over $500 a night, and I left feeling irritable because I was unable to get any rest. I would compare the Clermont to the poolside rooms at the Hollywood Roosevelt in Los Angeles as far as the noise is concerned.
The staff were all very courteous and the room was clean, though small.

Hello, thank you very much for leaving your honest review of the property. I am so sorry heartbroken to hear of the issues that you faced during your stay with us, and wanted to let you know that they have been addressed. While the neighborhood is definitely more happening than it was before the renovation, you should still be able to have a full night's sleep at our property. This noise issue is something that we're aware of and actively working towards combating. We hope to regain your trust for a second visit at the hotel, to show you how lovely the property can be (and this time have your room face the neighborhood!). Please feel free to reach out to me directly at grace@hotelclermont.com before your next stay.

We rented a room for 4 nights. The hotel is beautiful and centrally located. However, they offer limited room service including the cleaning of your room. They will not clean your room unless you ask. Our stay was for 4 nights so we opted for every other day cleaning. The first night we came home to an unclean room. When we called them we were told it was after 5 PM housekeeping doesn’t work after 5 PM. When we complained we had a really sweet person who came and changed our sheets and gave us fresh towels. The 2nd time we requested room service we arrived to find our room unclean at 4 PM had to wait for the room service and left the room to allow them to clean it. I find this to be unacceptable service for a Hilton Hotel. Very disappointed.

I wanted to also let you know that we are an independent hotel group, not affiliated with Hilton. Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback and we hope to see you again soon.

My husband and I recently spent a night at Hotel Clermont to celebrate my birthday and we were not disappointed. The moment we pulled into the drive, Corey, the valet greeted us and immediately assisted with our luggage took care of our car making the arrival process flawless before we even stepped inside the hotel.
Charles greeted us at the door with the most enthusiastic welcome I've ever had at a hotel, I felt like he'd been waiting just for me. The girls at the desk were terrific, Taylor checked us in with a warm welcome. Tammy, the concierge offered to make dinner reservations for us but, we had already taken care of that prior to arrival.
We had dinner at Tiny Lou's where Kail waited on us, what a doll as she made sure the evening was just as it should be when one is celebrating a birthday. The food, every single morsel of each course was to die for.
After dinner we went up to the rooftop to take in the gorgeous view of the city, though it was a bit cold that evening so we didn't stay there long. The bed was super comfortable with crisp, smooth sheets, a high end mattress, and goose down pillows, which made for an incredible night's sleep.
And, again at check out the front desk team was wonderful, Malaya at the desk was very sweet and kind. Julian the morning valet was attentive and very friendly as he assisted in getting our car before we drove away from our small reprieve from reality.
This hotel knocks it out of the park in every way.

We had a lovely stay at Hotel Clermont. From the moment we arrived, Trish was very helpful in helping us unload, even with our large Rottweiler. As we went to check in, the rest of the team helped us with a trolly and Mayala at the front desk was very patient as I tried to find my ID to check in! A nice surprise at check in was a choice of a glass of beer or champagne. Mayala is a wonderful staff member for the front desk.
We loved all the fun, vintage features. Even the room safe is pink! The warm, welcoming atmosphere trickles down to the guests. People strike up conversations in the lobby-it's like stepping back in time. Patrick at the cafe always had a positive attitude. The bar/library area is a great place to chill in the evenings, and if you're there over the weekend, make a reservation for brunch. Brunch starts at 10:30. You'll be glad you did. The oj is so fresh.
You can stay at this hotel for two days and have so many different places to spend your time, you don't even have to leave. All of the food we had at the hotel was delicious, even the Brussel sprouts! The gym is in the basement and is well equipped for a decent work out. There's even a guest login to use Peleton on the bikes. Complementary Gatorade included in gym fridge!
We also liked being next to the "beltline" a several mile long walking path along shops and eateries. This helped, as we needed to walk our dog (walk left out of the hotel, take a left at Green's and go back towards the Kroger-trail up the stairs on right). From the trail you can also access the Ponce Market, an indoor food hall. The area is very walkable. Parking is pricey with $40/day for valet but it is possible to park in the adjacent neighborhood.
This is a relaxing spot, super dog friendly, and our new "go to" hotel in ATL.

We staycationed at the Claremont and it was amazing. The staff is friendly and helpful, the decor is super cool but comfortable. There is such a diverse crowd there and everyone is so laid back and happy. I went with a friend for a getaway from suburban life and we walked around enjoying food and some shopping before eating at Tiny Lous (freakin delicious) and ending the night with some cheap beers and people watching at the Lounge downstairs.
The room and bathroom is instagram worthy and the bed was very comfortable. There was some street noise but they provide ear plugs and honestly we were so tired i barely noticed it.
we can't wait to plan the next visit, whether it's for brunch or a romantic getaway. thank you for the hospitality.

Gosh this hotel is just everything I needed! My husband and I live local but wanted to get out of the house for a night and have a fun experience in a chic place. The Clermont had us covered! The host/receptionist greeted us with great vibes and offered us PBR’s. He showed us how to get to our rooms and the different places to grab a beverage. We arrived to our immaculate and stylish room that had so many creative little details! From the post cards, to branded waters and soaps, the staff is so thoughtful of everything. We visited the rooftop to catch the sunset and then grabbed some poutine and then some beers and the cocktail bar on the main level. Each bar had a different vibe as well as offerings. We ended the night at the lounge (because you gotta) that had a live western band while we were there. We enjoyed ourselves a little too much that night and the following morning reception granted us a late checkout and a hangover vitamin kit. Need I say more? For a memorable time in Atlanta I couldn’t recommend a better place to stay.

The Clermont Hotel is a unique, boutique hotel with such charming furnishings. It is in a great location and walking distance to PCM. Our main complaint is the noise level- we were in room 201 and it sounded like we were directly over the bar/ party. We could definitely hear every song that was played but could even hear people talking as well. The point is that it was very loud in our room and hard to sleep, despite using the earplugs provided and the noise maker. At 2:00am we finally called the front desk and asked to be moved to another room. She explained that they were full but that all rooms were loud. Another bummer is that we tried to call room service at 10:15 but no one would answer; left a message about placing an order but we did not get a return call. On a positive note, at check-out, the receptionist saw the note on our account and apologized about the noise; without being asked she took $100 off our bill. That was a nice touch. I will say that with the price-point of the Clermont rooms, I would expect a different experience and sadly, I don't think we will be running back.

Hey there, Katherine! I'm also Catherine :) We're very sorry about the noise levels you experienced during your stay, and we want to apologize for the less than stellar service you received while trying to order room service. In many ways our location is amazing in terms of all the walking distance hotspots nearby. But we also realize that being located in the heart of the city exposes us to quite a bit of street noise as well. While it's true there can be street noise on all sides of the building, we have certain room types facing a particularly quiet side of the hotel we can recommend. I know you may not be interested in staying with us again, but if you're ever contemplating a return trip, feel free to reach out to our general manager at grace@hotelclermont.com. She would love to discuss how to welcome you back to a better experience, if you're comfortable with it! Thank you for the sweet compliments about our property despite the shortcomings you experienced. Take care, Catherine - Guest Services Agent

Hey there! Our earliest guaranteed check in time is 3:00pm, though we're happy to check you in early for no additional fee as early as 1:00pm, as long as a room is ready for you. In the meantime, we're always happy to hold your luggage until a room opens up.
Hey there! Our Ruby and Flossie Suites have a kitchenette with a mini fridge and microwave. We also have a self service cafe with a microwave you may use at any time, and microwaves and mini fridges you can rent for your room (based on availability). We also deliver ice as needed :)
Just use Uber. Not that expensive and clearly a whole lot easier than a Marta/Uber approach.
