Guests have frequently enjoyed the Embassy Suites by Hilton Atlanta at Centennial Olympic Park for its spacious and clean rooms that boast great views, although there have been mentions of the rooms needing some updates. The hotel staff receives accolades for their friendliness and helpfulness, while some guests have faced slower service.
The hotel's location is celebrated for its convenience to attractions, yet the value is sometimes questioned due to hidden costs like pricey parking. Amenities like complimentary breakfast are popular, despite occasional notes on small bathrooms and overcrowding.

Detailed Reviews
This was an amazing vacay, truly home away from home. The hotel lobby was clean and cozy looking, the room was super clean and fully stocked, the free hot breakfast buffet had an added classy touch, as it was located inside of Ruth's Chris Steak House (one of my favs). The absolute best part of the experience upon entering the hotel was the exceptional customer service we received from Gabrielle and Jason at check in. They were both extremely professional, very courteous and very accommodating. We are often in the ATL and it is very difficult to find good service and a good product in the same setting, which made their positive attitudes and quality customer service so so refreshing. They were both very consistent; anytime we passed them they would acknowledge us by name and would offer to get directions or assist in any needed capacity. After a beautiful stay, we checked out of the hotel only to return a few hours later due to missing our plane. Upon our return to add another day, both Gabrielle and Jason were both still hard at work and made checking in the second time around, as pleasant as our initial encounter. I also want to extend a special thank you to Ephren in the valet parking department, he was always pleasant and professional whenever we encountered him while awaiting our Uber (super nice gentleman). I think we hit the jackpot with this Embassy, super great location close to everything, the Marta train and tons of attractions all within walking distance. I had a perfect view overlooking Centennial Park, the ATL eye and the CNN building (at night they lit up the city). . Embassy Suites is always the best bang for our bucks: all of the rooms are suites, free super nice hot breakfast buffet, unlimited free cocktails and snacks every single night, including weekends. We are already planning our return trip to the ATL.

Visiting Atlanta was the start of our East Coast Trip. We arrived fairly late to the hotel and were greeted by a very nice Valet and the staff at the front desk were very pleasant as well. The Hotel is centrally located very close 5 minute walk to the Aquarium and Coca Cola Museum. The room itself was older but had all the basic embassy suite amenity's. A bit on the smaller side for an embassy suite and the bathroom didn't have any room for anything especially for a family of 4 which we were. The Pool was fine towels were difficult to find and the cleaning staff were slow to bring what was needed both in the pool area and the room. With Covid the rooms could not be cleaned throughout the stay which is annoying. Valet will run you 45.00 a night but the staff that runs it is very efficient. If staying a couple of nights look for a deal on price with the valet and id say it might be worth the discounted price.

We booked a short stay for our family of 5. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and large and we had an amazing view of Centennial Park. The room was quiet and we didn't hear any noise of people in the hallway or through the walls.
The evening reception was nice. There were some dry salty snacks, veggies and dip, and of course, free drinks. The breakfast was wonderful. There were tons of seats, as it's located in the attached Ruth Chris steakhouse. Lots of variety of food and drinks! I would stay here again.

If you are looking to stay close the aquarium, this is a great spot. If you are looking for a friendly, organized and helpful staff or a functioning room, look elsewhere.
Typically Embassy Suites; nice size front room, smaller bathroom and bedroom. Room did not have coffee maker nor did it have extra linens/pillows for pull out bed. None of the bedside outlets worked either.
Front desk staff was neither courtesy nor helpful (checking in around 5:45 on a Wednesday evening). It took over 45 minutes for staff to bring extra linens (the bag in the room was empty). Once staff arrived, they requested a tip rather inappropriately before even handing over the linens, of which they forgot the pillow. I made a second request to the front desk for a pillow which was never fulfilled.
Understandably things are different in COVID as breakfast is served cafeteria style (a staff member serves you). Be there early as there was a 100+ person line around 8:15.
On a positive note, the valet staff was helpful and prompt.

I am a big Hilton guy and stay pretty much exclusively with Hilton. This was a bad experience. Party central. No social distancing or masks and the hotel was not enforcing masks or social distancing. It's not easy running a business in a pandemic but you have to try. This hotel is not trying. I have traveled during the pandemic and this is my worst experience. I wish I had checked out and left. This hotel needs to shut down until they come up with a better plan to handle the current situation.

Really not impressed with this hotel. Mandatory valet parking is exorbitant and the parking staff is not friendly. Upon arrival after an 8 hour drive, I asked the parking staff where I could park the vehicle where I could unload our luggage and I could get my family up to the room (we had already pre-checked in and I had an electronic key). The guy showed me a spot and I started unloading and taking things in when he demanded my keys. I thought that was odd as it would take maybe 10 mins to get everything and everyone to the room and he had just shown me where I could place the vehicle to take care of the task. I didn’t want to get give anyone my keys (COVID and just because it didn’t make sense). I asked if I could temporarily park in the side lot of the hotel and he said over there was fine. I moved the vehicle again and started taking our final items upstairs. He chased me down and demanded my keys again. Very odd. Eventually moved my vehicle off their vaunted property, finished our unload and taking care if my family (just a few minutes) and brought the car BACK to the hotel so they could move it to where it had been parked originally. Inconvenient.
Other than that our room’s ac system made a horrible screeching sound all nigh every time it kicked on, made for a rough night. After our day out the next day, I reported it to the staff. Took some back and forth but they agreed let us move rooms—but would only downgrade us. They did reimburse that ridiculous parking charge though.
As a Diamond member, the hotel should provide welcome snacks and water upon arrival. Didn’t do that—had to ask for the water at the front desk.
The staff does NOT enforce COVID-related mask wearing. Many people hanging out in the lobby or transiting the common areas without masks on. Be aware.
Rooms are dated and worn.
Really the only thing going for this hotel is its location near the Georgia Aquarium and CFB Hall of Fame. Other than that, I wouldn’t bother.

Booked an overnight stay for 1/11 because close to Celine Dion concert.
Registered for the "Park & Play" package. Receipt at checkout reflected correct charges, but the next day when the charge showed up on the credit card, it was for $45 more.
Called Embassy Suites and was told that they charge for incidentals but would reverse the charges and should show on the credit card in 3-5 business days.
Seriously, the registration was to include Parking, yet they charge me again for parking and then say it will be 3-5 business days for a refund.
Very disappointed!

More staff is needed! Our family of four stayed at this hotel in mid June (2021), and the common areas of the hotel were disgusting. Our first impression...it took us 17 minutes to valet, and most of that was spent parked on the busy street with our signal on while getting beeped at from cars trying to get around us because we just couldn't get into valet due to the lack of valet drivers. We finally got into valet and couldn't throw our trash out from the car because the garbage at the front of the hotel was overflowing with smelly garbage. We walked into the hotel and saw that the carpets in the lobby/atrium area looked like they hadn't been vacuumed in a week. This matched the couches and stuffed chairs that had visible stains all over them.
Our room was clean thank goodness. The only issue with the room is that we were a party of four (clearly noted on the reservation), and they only had three bath towels in the room. And of course once you notice, it is too late to call the front desk and wait for however long for more towels to be delivered.
The pool is meh...and very cold. We decided to not even use it.
The free breakfast in the morning also needs more staff. They ran out of food the two times we ate breakfast at the hotel, causing the line to stop and wait for new containers of food to be brought out of the kitchen. Each time that resulted in the food line to take more than 20 minutes.
I will give major kudos on the amazing art display of aquarium animals in the atrium. It was magnificent!
This hotel is definitely not up to par with the other dozen or so Embassy Suites I've stayed at along the East Coast. The people working there were polite and helpful, but extremely understaffed. If you stay, go with very low expectations unfortunately.

As a business traveler, I've stayed at this property for over 20 years. Unfortunately, very little has changed during that time, and the few changes made are not for the better.
While the rooms are still clean and comfortable, the hotel is showing its age. The desks have the best office chairs in the business, but the rooms are dark and uninviting. The complimentary breakfast is served on large, round banquet tables in the lobby instead of the comfortable dining area in the attached Ruths Chris restaurant. Taking a cue from airlines, they charge for more desirable rooms, such as a higher floor. Additionally, housekeeping services are only available upon request, ostensibly due to COVID-19 protocols.
I appreciate the convenience of online registration, credit card info, and electronic keys, but irritated by the need to provide the same information to the front desk upon arrival. It's unnecessary and inefficient.
While this hotel is still a sensible option for travelers to ATL, it used to be better. I hope it will improve.

Where do I start, parking was horrible had to fight our way in each time for valet (lot next to hotel) unorganized need more runners. As matter a fact just throw valet away all together and start over. Check in nothing special get upstairs keys don't work. Get another key enter room and caught an instant high and i don't smoke. Went back downstairs to purchase air freshener because we can barely breath at this point. Got to use the bathroom water is brown, seriously? Called front desk they brushed it off like it's normal "just let it run until it's clear". So now we can't shower or brush our teeth. We left to go to dinner just to get back and have to get back in the long valet. Some cars left on the side out to the street with no drivers. Valet was too busy helping folks with unloading cars with food and alcohol for their evening parties in the room. There goes my sleep, why can't people just reserve a conference room instead of disturbing others...Disgusted at this moment because all of this happened within 3 hours after checkin.
We had to leave and check into another hotel . Disappointed in Hilton, Embassy Suites seem to be the low end of your chain. Not the same when i was an employee.
