A REFUGE IN THE NATURE The authenticity of the countryside in its simplicity and spontaneity welcome you to discover the origins and traditions of the authentic Italian culture of rural life. A return to frugality and the exaltation of the passage of time marked by the nature: the crowing of the cock, the first rays of sun refracting in the fresh morning dew, the awakening of nature and animals, the loving care of the factor, which in every season renews his tacit agreement signed between nature and man. All this means to live on a farm, experience that even for one night only brings back the spirit to its bucolic origins.

I've been at Agrihouse in September 2019 for four days to take part of a four-day yoga kundalini retreat. The place is absolutely amazing, just hills and grass and trees around. The silence is interrupted just by the sound of the wind passing throught the leaves. Many animals (dogs, cats, cows and many more..) as pleasant company. A nice swimming pool with a view. Breakfast is simple but good. Rooms with no tv but in my opinion not needed in a place like this! The family who run the place is so welcoming and warm, they're so friendly and helpful! Bracciano is 10 mins by car and there is a bus 5/6 times a day running beetwen Bracciano and the Agrihouse.. the place is surrounded by nature but well connected. Recommended!

For the first time we decided to try the famous "Italian agriturimo". As we were traveling with a small child we needed a place offering something for kids and that was when I discovered Agrihouse in Bracciiano. We stayed a whole week. The farm is only 45 minutes from Fiumicino airport and around the same distance to Rome. It is a real farm with a very rustic style, a nice swimming pool, 3 dogs, 2 cats (or were there 3?), a few cows, some hens and a coq that announces the beginning of a new morning everyday. The breakfast is simple with toast, homemade jam/marmalade and cakes as well as juice, milk and coffee. You can also order scrambled eggs and toasts with ham/cheese for an additional cost. Unfortunately we could not have any lunch or dinner at the farm as our host - cara Marina - was having a problem with a knee (hope the surgery helps). Marina kindly recommended us a restaurant near the farm for lunch which we visited upon our arrival on Sunday 25 August. Marina is a very very kind lady who does her very best to please her guests and to speak English. We did not have much problems as I do speak Italian and this stay was an excellent opportunity for a week-immersion course in Italian. We were a bit surprise that Roy - the youngest dog - barked sometimes a lot during the night... But we discovered one evening that there were boars (wild pigs) in the area and guessed that the brave young doggy was just trying to keep them away from the farm. The evenings were nice and warm and we enjoyed talking and eating our sandwiches by the pool looking and the sky and enjoying the sunset. Agrihouse is a good place for kids as there is plenty of space for playing as well as toys for playing in and outside the pool. Julian - our 2 years old grand soon - had a wonderful time and got along with Roy and Marina pretty well. Thank you Marina for your kindness, tips for places to visit, allowing us to use your wine-glasses, preparing such a delicious cakes and especially for your hospitality making us breakfast so early today before departing. Grazie mille

This is our 3rd year in a row staying at Agrihouse hosted by the wonderfully warm and welcoming Rubini Familglia. We just couldn't resist the return visits, not only because the lake area is fantastic and also the surrounding neighbourhoods of Bracciano and Manziana, but particularly because when you arrive at Marina and Fredo's farm the tranquil and beautiful setting together with their very friendly welcome immediately puts you at ease. We stay in Chestnut apartment with our 11 yr old son and it is a very well appointed apartment, very comfortable and well equipped. There is a charm about the place that is a pleasure to enjoy. Our son enjoys spending time with Marina and her lovely Mother doing small jobs with the animals in the mornings and we all love the pool area overlooking the rolling hills. There is plenty to explore in the region around the 3 towns on the Lake. There is also a nature reserve lake a little further on from Anguillura Sabazia that is a joy to spend the day at. Bring picnics and towels and sit in the shade of the trees. It is protected so no cars, but you can park and get shuttle bus down to it. There are also nice local places to eat and enjoy an evening gelato in the old square at Manziana. Rome is 50 mins away for a day or overnight trip. The sea beaches are not too far but we preferred the lake scene. The Etruscan tombs at Cerverteri are a must. Arrive home to cook a little something in the evening and sit outside as the sun sets, soaking up the atmosphere of the farm and the peaceful sounds of nature. If you have not tried a holiday at an agriturisumo before, this is the place to go. We prefer the apartment as it is self catering and very handy for families although we had a tasty breakfast each day in the dining room too. We love this place and think about it and the Rubini family a lot throughout the year after our holiday is done with. Go, enjoy and love it!!!! Thanks to Marina, Fredo Jessica Barbara and Nonna for our wonderful stays with you!!!

If your dream is to wake up at least once in your life in a farm, in touch with nature, surrounded with animals and fields, this place is for you. The host and hostess are friendly, helpful and ready to do their best to make you feel at home and help your needs. The swimming pool is small but still a nice asset on the hottest days. The dogs and cats are also friendly and willing to play with you if you like.

Marina was a very kind and generous host. The particular highlights were the beautiful room (the apartment), the quality of the food, and the abundance of friendly animals! Our son who is 21 months old really enjoyed interacting with the cats and dogs, goats and donkeys. There are nice walks from the house with beautiful views of the surrounding landscape and even the sea. Lake Bracciano is a short drive away and we enjoyed getting to know Trevignano Romano and Anguillara in particular. The castle in Bracciano is very well preserved and worth a visit. It was nice to meet other (mainly Italian) families with children who were also staying. It is worth noting that the free breakfast is light, but more substantial options are available at an extra cost. The dinner menu was fantastic (eg great homemade and well-prepared pasta dish and excellent milanesas), but there is not much variety in terms of options. Overall, a simple and unpretentious place to stay and highly recommended.
