Detailed Reviews
Stayed here for one night while touring the ring road. Older style rooms with 2 single beds joined together, desk, couple of chairs, and tea and coffee making facilities. No fridge or in room safe. Bathroom was adequate but with limited amenities.
Location wise the hotel is off the main road but you could hear some traffic on the side road at night. Good wifi and UK channels on the smallish size TV. Breakfast was ok but nothing special.

I arrived with a group of 17 and the check-in was very efficient and orderly, which I appreciated. The rooms were spacious and comfortable for our group. The hotel seemed to have been recently renovated and that was nice. There were plenty of services (restaurants, gas station, grocery) within a short walk or drive from the hotel. The breakfast included standard European fare plus some really good pickled herring. I would definitely stay here again.

This hotel had good sized rooms that were clean and quiet. Breakfast buffet was decent quality and there were a couple of restaurants nearby. On the downside the hot tubs we were told about on check-in were empty, and be aware that it seems this hotel is used by large tour groups on coaches.

The good part is the excellent restaurant. Food is fresh and plentiful, nicely arranged. Not fancy but tasty and varied. The rooms are large by European standard, but.... Little light in the room, thin and scratchy towels, no soap etc. Rooms needs improvement. Aside of two sofas, there is no lobby. the whole space is occupied by dining tables. The staff is fiendly.

We stayed here only one night and arrived really late, however the manager at reception waited for us until we arrived and reserved a parking space for us. The room was spacious even though it was small and had all the essentials including kettle/ tea/coffee. We slept really well as the beds were comfy. The bathroom was small and dated but we were happy that it was clean and spotless. The breakfast was the best! It was a smorgasbord of Icelandic and non Icelandic delicacies. From the three hotels we stayed at in Iceland, by far they had the best breakfast options. The staff were extremely polite. We enjoyed our one night stay and would definitely come back again.

I stayed here for 1 night during the circuit around Iceland. Nice room (a bit bigger than the usual in Iceland). The breakfast had both salty & sweet choices (including fruits). The lunch was pre-selected by our travel agency (we were a group of 30 persons) and it was very good: sea-food soup, 2nd course - lamb (both Icelandic traditional meals) and chocolate cake for dessert . The hotel has also jacuzzi.
Highly recommend it.

It is located directly on a passing road (but, perhaps due to the lack of traffic at night in winter we did not hear any noise). The rooms are very large with very dated furnishings. A positive note is the presence of a kettle and coffee/herbal tea kit. The bathroom is small but functional.
The breakfast room is really very shabby and the quality of the food is basic.

This is a nice hotel just off the Ring Road. Very comfortable room, and it had everything we needed. The hot tub was nice to relax in. The breakfast buffet was expansive, and they offer a pack your own lunch option for guests if they'd like to pack a lunch.

We stayed one night with a group tour. The hotel is clean and comfortable, and the staff are warm and friendly. We slept well. We arrived in the early evening, just in time for the dinner buffet, which consisted of asparagus soup, homemade bread, cod, rice, and salad. Really good. The breakfast buffet was just what we needed to get up and moving for the day.

Everything was fine except the soundproofing. The hotel staff was polite and had a nice buffet in the dinner . Breakfast was poor but in all the hotels I stayed in it was poor. I would definitely prefer it again. Nice location. There was a small issue with the soundproofing of the rooms. Good price
