This accommodation ideally consists of 3 apartments and a guest house with (from memory 6 or 7 bedrooms).
Personally, we stayed 2 nights in one of the apartments. It consists of a kitchen living room, functional and with everything necessary; a very comfortable bedroom and a well-appointed bathroom.
We really enjoyed this accommodation, not to mention the peace and quiet and the magnificent view.
Finally, the pleasant owners were there to meet our needs but always very discreet.
We happily recommend this place.

Good value for money. It is located a little bit off main road (1), surroundings are quiet. Place is well maintained and feels that it’s new. Backdrop view of guesthouse is stunning in good weather with glacier visible. Not usual for iceland - breakfest was included, al Through it was simple, but great pancakes. Parking and WiFi as promised, as well as other amenities.

+1
Self check in here. When you get to the guesthouse the door is unlocked and there’s a whiteboard with your instructions. The instructions tell you what room you’re in, the wifi, and other house rules. The key was in our door when we got to our room. It was a super cute guesthouse about half an hour from Vik and 10-15 min from Skogafoss .The owners live across the steeet if there’s issues and provided their whatsapp phone number. A breakfast is served in the morning but we left before then. There’s numbered bins in the fridge for each room to use. The rooms were clean, there’s 7 rooms and 2 washrooms with showers. The bathrooms are huge. There’s a great living area to hangout in with large windows overlooking a beautiful view. Free wifi and parking. Easy to find on iPhone maps and google maps. Would highly recommend.

Old farmhouse re-done for accomodation. 7 private rooms but only 2 shared bathrooms!!! Our room number 1 had a great view but was so small we could not even fit the suitcase in - see the picture. Other rooms seemed to be bit bigger. Included breakfast was very nice, but again the space to eat it was extremely cramped considering number of guests. I also did not like the fact that breakfast was supposed to start at 8am, but the girl who was preparing it barely came at 8am and then started to make coffee etc. I was disappointed considering the price.

Had read positive reviews of this place, not our experience. The area is beautiful and quiet, room and house was clean. Too many guest for 1 shower/toilet combo. We never saw the owner at check in our when leaving the next day. When we arrived a board gave you your room # and said breakfast would be eggs, yogurt, bread and toppings with milk for coffee and tea. When we went down to eat there was one loaf of bread, butter and some marmalade for 9 travelers to eat. None of the others items mentioned for breakfast were to be found. Not a great experience.

Lovely house inside. Big clean and comfortable room. Large shower room. Very modern inside. We had use of the kitchen and there was a sitting area/ lounge with fantastic views. Great stop off if you are doing the ring road or are exploring the south coast. We ate at a place called the Old Cow Shed which is not too far away and was reasonable.
The host at the guesthouse offers a kind of help yourself style breakfast in the morning. Toast, yoghurt, meat cheese. She also came in early with some home made bread and eggs. Very nice friendly lady

We loved our two night stay at Raudafell Guest House! It's set up more like a bed and breakfast with shared bathrooms, kitchen, living space, and breakfast (pancakes, yogurt, toast, ham, hard boiled eggs, etc.) included. There was an issue with our booking that we realized the day of and so I called the hotel to see if they accommodate our request. Heida was so great and moved things around to allow my friend and I to have two beds instead of one, which we REALLY appreciated. We moved some of the furniture around in the room to fit our needs, but we were able to get around with two of us and a lot of luggage. Heida lives just across the street and is the one that owns, takes care of the guest house, and makes breakfast. She was helpful with information about the culture and the surrounding area. The house was updated and clean, very comfortable to stay in! Free parking and wifi. Only two bathrooms for about 7 rooms, but we didn't have any issues with access to them due to people getting up and leaving at different times. Just a few minutes from Skogafoss Waterfall, which was one of the things that we wanted to see. This is the perfect place if you want to see the sites on the southeastern part of Iceland! I would go back there if I ever returned to Iceland.

Room Tip: Room 2 was a little more spacious and had a nice view of the mountain behind the guesthouse.

The location was nice and quiet. The room is very small, no place for your suitcase. There were too many people sharing one bathroom. We never had breakfast because we wanted to leave before eight. They did have coffee, milk and cereal in the kitchen so we helped ourselves to that. We thought it was overpriced for what received.

We stayed here a night. The rooms are so small with uncomfortable beds. The ceiling is too short that we hit our head to the ceiling a couple of times. The bathroom should be shared with about 20 other people & the breakfast is so simple.
Do not come here.

My family stayed here two nights while traveling the Southern Coast of Iceland and really enjoyed our stay. The house has 6 or 7 private bedrooms with locking doors and shared bathrooms, a kitchen, and living room area. The house was clean and modern and we really enjoyed chatting with people from all over the world. Our hosts made breakfast each morning and gave us some great advice regarding our travels. Rauoafell is located a the foot off beautiful mountains and volcanos and we were able to take a scenic hike nearby that rivaled anything we saw during our whole trip.
I can wholeheartedly recommend a stay here!
