Detailed Reviews
This lovely cabin had everything we needed. Privacy, cleanliness and great location! Close to ring road. Great views of Hekla and northern lights. Great communication with owners. Fridge, microwave and stove. Private bath and heating to keep us warm. Able to watch northern lights from inside through ample windows.

Lovely owners, beautiful scenery we were able to see the northern lights on a clear night, little house is super cute!!! Perfect for my husband and our 4 year old daughter, super clean. Came with a full kitchen, clean bathroom. Really clean, comfortable, cozy. I would have stayed here for more nights if I had more time. Highly recommend staying here, don’t hesitate with booking. Trust the reviews. I would book here again when I visit Iceland in the future.

We loved our stay. My husband and I spent 3 nights on the property, and we loved how quiet, beautiful, and accessible it was when we traveled around the Golden Circle. I highly recommend purchasing breakfast. The proprietors gave us enough food so that we would use our leftovers for our picnic lunches. We also appreciated the kitchenette. It was so nice to cook a little dinner in the cottage. The shower was hot and the bed comfortable. Highly recommend.

+1
What a brilliant property! The owners were really friendly & kind. The location is one of the best locations we've ever stayed in. The cottage is quaint & beautiful. On a clear day, you can see the famous Eyjafjallajökull volcano right from its window. It is easy to find it on Google maps as well. Everything was neat & clean, the kitchen had enough utensils & equipment, the bathroom was clean & there's a parking place for a car as well. Totally recommended

We spent only 1 night at this place because we had to drive further to south-east on the next day. Otherwise we would have stay long since it is the best guesthouse I have ever stayed. The host and his dog were very friendly and welcoming. This place has everything, including kitchen so you can cook for dinner if you like. It is located outside the city surrounded by mountain so you may get to see the Aurora light. Don't forget to have breakfast, the host made them fresh daily by himself! I will definitely stay here again for my next visit to Iceland!

We stayed in one of the GREAT bungalows on the property. They are brand new and super cozy. The location is ideal, especially if you are taking a day trip to Landmannalaugar. The sunrise was spectacular, and the sunset even better. Magnus and his wife were wonderful, gracious hosts. They were welcoming and friendly, answering any questions and providing wonderful information and suggestions. The breakfast was exceptional with all home baked breads, croissants, and danishes (all baked by Magnus!). We wouldn't hesitate to come back for another stay!

We stayed in a bungalow for 2 nights. The host and hostess were really friendly and welcoming. They had a cute, friendly and well-behaved dog. Our room was clean and very new. It had kitchen facilities, which we used to prepare dinner. There was a good view from our room, with Hekla being visible. From our room, we even saw horses on the move! The highlight of our stay was definitely the wonderful breakfast, consisting of baked goods prepared by the host, a professional baker. He prepared an excellent variety of delicious baked goods, like bread, croissants and a type of sweet pastry, for us. Our stay at this place was truly memorable.

We spent our first night of our Iceland road trip here and had a great stay. The hosts were lovely and welcoming, offering breakfast even though we hadn't booked it. They gave us advice on where and when to see the Northern Lights (which we managed to do from the guesthouse)
The accommodation was new and done to a high standard and was perfect for three friends.
Highly recommend. Thanks very much.

This is a relatively new property and it is in perfect shape and sparkling clean. We stayed in one of the little cabins though a wind and rain storm. The cabin was thoughtfully laid out and well built. We stayed warm and snug. The beds were the most comfortable that we slept on during our whole trip! The host clearly loves having guests and we spend a morning chatting with him and his friend about Iceland, politics and his excellent baking skills! Yes. You read that correctly. He is a retired baker. He baked us the most wonderful bread for breakfast! It was a treat. He gave us wonderful suggestions of what to do on such a dreary day. We found it difficult to leave his cozy guesthouse!
Nothing negative to say what-so-ever. Perfect, basically.
