Stayed for 1 week. Location - good, about 5 mins from beach, 10 mins from Le Grand plage area, 15 to La Lydia area. Easy, pleasant walks. Hotel has free wi-fi, TV only has French channels, swimming pool, can eat breakfast on the terrace. Receptionists speak little English - try your French, you'll get by. Reception closes at 7pm but you have a code to get back in. Room (we had room 228) was basic but cleaned every day. Large bathroom with bath and shower. No balcony where you can sit out but had a Juliette balcony. People below us had a balcony but looked like the walls stopped any view. Plenty of free parking available. There's a restaurant but we didn't eat there as we went out every evening. There's no kettle in the room and no-where you can buy water so make sure you get some when you are out and about. I did try to buy a drink at abount 12.30pm but was told I had to wait till 3pm before I could buy one. There is also a spa attached to the hotel though never saw anyone in it. There are money off vouchers in the reception for local attractions. All in all, pretty standard but we had no issues. 1 tip - you need to put RUE Thalassas in your sat nav or you won't find it. Our booking said it was on Avenue de Thalassas and the sat nav said it didn't exist.

Oh dear. I have read all the reviews on trip advisor since 2011 and for 5 YEARS the comments have been generally the same. The pictures are deceiving internet vs actual. We booked this hotel primarily for it's pool and it was unuseable. The chairs and sunbeds need scrubbing down the pool area needs sweeping and plants cutting back. The entrance to the pool had a dried up foot bath with a shower covered in cobwebs and full of limescale. There was a strange contraption in the pool attached to a mobile electric stand. I think it was a pool cleaner but it was not doing anything. The ladders were all dirty and had limescale on them. Worst of all the pool sides were covered in green algae which has been mentioned year on year on these reviews. There was no evidence of chlorine or salt in the water so I most certainly did not use this pool. Algae needs to be managed and the pool cleaned and monitored every day. If anyone did use the pool who was less than hygienic there is nothing present to kill germs. This is potentially serious to people's health. Given that this is advertised as a 'Spa' hotel the standard should be 100%. General outdoor maintenance was poor the hotel as a whole is very delapidated and needs some attention given to it. Decor tired, showers in rooms ancient with horrid plastic shower curtains, general décor inside hotel really in need of a refresh. You are very unlucky if you are staying here more than one night. On the positive side staff nice ... a/c superb.

We were in the hotel for Electrobeach Festival in July, for a weekend. Normal rooms, with tv, air conditioner and private wc. Swimming pool out of order in July. 5 minutes walking from beach, 15 from city centre. Accept visa. Speaks english.

We couldn't find a hotel on the coast of France while driving to Spain and this is what our travel agent found us. It was cheap and there is a reason why! The website looks great but if you read the tripadvisor info you get the real idea. Thin towels only one per person, no hand towels, bedrooms clean with nice tv, but the general feel of the place was one of a time warp. We felt we walked into the French version of Fawlty Towers!!! The breakfast was meager, only a bread roll and croissant, juice and a coffee maker! I guess some complained as I was asked the 2nd day if I was happy with the food. Since I don't speak French it was lost on me and at that stage I really wanted to leave. The WIFI was excellent if that is any consolation! We didn't use the Thaslosstherapy next door, as it was a tad odd and had a feeling of an Old Folks home!! again read reviews and don't stay here! Plus the disgusting pool...... horrible!
