After having multiple items stolen from inside my bag at this hostel, which appeared obviously dug through upon my return, I went to the front desk thinking that someone could help me. After all, I noticed dozens of security cameras mounted on the walls and ceilings along with

Myself and two friends stayed in City House Hostel New Orleans in a 4-bed female dorm. The hostel is located in a great location that was within walking distance to everything we wanted to see. However, we were disappointed that the website did not tell us that there wouldn’t be

Richard.. the wonderful manager there is the most incredible and fascinating person. I stayed here in June 2018 for a few nights and he shuffled the nightly events around to ensure that there would be a ghost walking tour (biggest turn out he had ever had). His knowledge was

We're never stayed at a hostel before and on the day of our flight home the airline offered to reschedule our flight due to upcoming snow storm back home. We jumped at the chance to stay a few more days...my first thought was a hostel experience for its price and community

No to the first question. But everything is walking distance including bourbon st and there’s teams at the front that can take you anywhere so you don’t really need a bike. And yes to the second question. It will have to stay in the common room so I’d say to make sure you buy a lock for your bag just to be safe. The hostel sells locks too if you forget to get one. Hope this helps. Ps. One of the best hostels I’ve been too. The staff are amazing and they live there too so there’s always someone to help out.

Yes you can Girl! That was the good thing about them. You can leave your bags in the common area (probably a good idea to put a padlock on it) and then come back and check in at 3pm

As safe as it's going to get. You have to remember it's still a city, in fact a city with a bunch of drunk people running around having a great time. So yes there are a lot of police and people in general around, but do things still happen yes.
