Location was great, right in the French quarter so could walk everywhere (just a couple of minutes’ walk to Boubon Street and only a bit further to the river / cathedral. Really great atmosphere created by the staff - within 5 minutes of checking in...More

The place itself is very nice, however there are no accommodation for parking, no drinking after 10 pm, cold showers, and the staff are very rude and unhelpful We've stayed at many hostels on this trip and City house is by far the worst. The...More

Hostel was in a good location for the French quarter. Great facilities and a large social area! The staff were all really friendly and helpful with recommendations. Hostel was cleaned daily and the bunk beds were very comfy.

Location is the highlight, staff are friendly, and hostel is clean. Otherwise, it’s a super noisy hostel (street noise), staff weirdly come into room each night after 10pm to empty bin, no aircon or fans, no personal bed shelves or lights. Doors have no locks....More

No to the first question. But everything is walking distance including bourbon st and there’s teams at the front that can take you anywhere so you don’t really need a bike. And yes to the second question. It will have to... More

Yes you can Girl! That was the good thing about them. You can leave your bags in the common area (probably a good idea to put a padlock on it) and then come back and check in at 3pm
