The New Orleans Jazz Quarters is ideally situated in the heart of all things New Orleans. Just steps from the famous French Quarter and next door to Armstrong National Jazz Park. New Orleans Jazz Quarters is a study in gracious southern appeal. Its charming brick courtyards with beautiful, well-established gardens are a perfect place to relax and plan the day's or relax at the end of the day. Our Creole cottages, some dating back to the early 1800's, suggest the allure of old New Orleans. Most have traditional high ceilings and antique furniture. In addition to our location, free wifi, another popular feature is our parking in our large gated parking lot, with secure access. ***New Orleans is a city where food brings people together there are now 2375 restaurants. We want our guests to experience and enjoy as many of these as possible. Unfortunately, we do not offer complimentary breakfast, as we are unable to run a restaurant at our facility. Our team will happily offer recommendations to area restaurants and in many cases discounts and coupons.*** We look forward to having you as a guest.

That sound? That flavor? That certain je ne sais quoi that lets you known you’re in “Nawlins” and nowhere else? It’s all good and in broad abundance on the streets of Tremé, where so much of what’s considered to be the very best of New Orleans culture and tradition is, put simply, just how people go about their daily lives in this historic part of town. As one of America’s oldest African-American neighborhoods and among the nation’s first established residential areas for free people of color, Tremé’s significant heritage and contribution cannot be understated. This is especially the case when considering some of Tremé’s most famous residents, most notably jazz great Louis Armstrong. For full flavored food, funky and jazzed up music, and vibrant street life presented with homegrown pride, you can’t beat a visit to Tremé.

We stayed during Carnival season for a bachelorette party. We had 13 girls and rented the "Grand Trio" group of cottages, which is the Kermit, Connick and the Fountain. The place was clean and neat, but needed some attention. There were beers left in the mini fridge from

No-one else was staying here whilst we were there and now I know why. This is tired, rundown and messy. The wifi does not work. The rooms are very overpriced. The owners do not respond to email and did not respond to our complaints at the property. Very disappointed as this was

There is no doubt about the links between the city and Jazz. Taking advantage of it you can really feel the music and start an vintage trip to the origins of creole music and jazz including street dancing. Visit the place and drift away!

This was a family vacation of two parents and two boys (30 and 25 years old) from Sunday through Saturday. We were celebrating the graduation of our 25-year-old who'd spent some time in New Orleans a few years back in the lower ninth district as a service project. We were

If you can't travel to New Orleans, you can hear Doreen Ketchens phenomenal jazz on YouTube. However if you are lucky enough to hear her play live, it is VERY LIVE! I've been told that Louis Armstrong got his start playing on New Orleans cruise ships, and Jimmy Buffet first

Those suites have a shared courtyard, but Bokden suite and Marsalis have a covered porch that may be better for smoking. There is also a shared courtyard in the property, but I am not sure of the smoking policy. It's a lovely place--enjoy!

Thanks so much for your interest in Jazz Quarters. Our location is perfect for those who come for Jazz Festival. We are only about 3 short blocks to Esplanade Avenue, where you can pick up a bus which goes directly to the fairgrounds. We have had guests who walk there. We have also had guests who rent bikes for the weekend and bike there. Please let us know if you need more detailed info, it will be our pleasure to assist.

You should be able to leisurely walk or stroll over to Lafayette Square in about 20 minutes or so.

We have booked a room for two nights during Christmas. Do you have gluten free options for breakfast?
If our menu choice for the day does not agree with you, we have a cold or hot gluten free cereal.

Do you have good high speed wi-fi? My travelers are gamers.
There is wifi but I couldn't tell you if it was strong enough for gamers. We had iPads and iPhones and they worked well. Honestly, there's so much to do and see in New Orleans who has time for video games? 😉
