We really enjoyed our stay here. Rooms are clean. AC worked well. Service was great. Everyone was really helpful. We arrived late in the evening due to traffic from the airport. When we arrived the restaurant had already closed. The two overnight security guards offered to give us a ride on their motor bikes to a very small local stand to get a bite to eat. We were starving and incredibly grateful. Free walking tours and shuttles to central Ubud. The walking tour was really insightful. We went through the back-alleys of the town and learned so much about the people and the culture there in Bali. Breakfast in the morning is also fantastic. Would definitely come back in the future.

We stayed in the villa which was beyond amazing. The building itself is stunning, beautifully furnished and very comfortable with superb views over the valley. The location is fabulous as its away from the hustle and bustle of down town Ubud but only 20 minutes or so by car. The staff are super friendly and very efficient and the restaurant food was excellent as well. We could see ourselves settling in there for a couple of weeks no problem. There is a full kitchen as well if you want to self cater. The guided walk with Putu was fantastic and very informative. Excellent library as well.

This is a repeated visit to naughty Nuri for their food but their service has been surprisingly consistent and beyond! Jane, Jinhan and Kevin were fantastic with guiding the guest I bought to the restaurant. Jane was attentive and thoughtful to needs of each diner in the restaurant. Highly recommended if you’re thinking of hosting your guest in Phuket or even the thinking about getting good ribs. I recommended the hickory ribs.

We were privileged to spend several days recently in the Villa at Alam Sari Keleki. Nestled in a tropical paradise this eco friendly hotel offers stunning views out over the tropical Bali countryside across rice paddies and beyond. The restaurant meals were lovely and the staff very friendly and accommodating. The organic garden tour and village walk both very informative Shopping trips into Ubud were easily arranged. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Alam Sari . Thankyou. Very happy couple from NZ)

I had a great four day stay at Alam Sari. The nature walk was very informative showing local spices, herbs and vegetables in the hotel's organic garden before moving on through local rice paddies and their lovely views. My room was lovely, the meals at the restaurant were wonderful, a lovely large pool enabled good relaxation. The local Balinese staff were welcoming and looked after us very well - indeed the hotel had a friendly atmosphere. As one of the first resorts it has an authentic Balinese style complete with its own Hindu Temple (which is used by the staff) and a purification ceremony. Waking up at dawn to see sunrise over the forest with Mount Agung in the background was beautiful. I came here for a yoga retreat - my second here - I can't imagine a nicer venue. I'm returning for the Ubud Writers and Readers.

My second visit to Alam Sari and it was just as wonderful as my first. As one of the first resorts in Ubud it is a great setting away from the hustle and bustle of downtown Ubud, but within easy reach of events and places around Ubud. It also has a quaint Balinese feel which I really appreciate. I stayed in a private room with it’s own gate. Perfect setting to read a book and play my guitar. I also woke up each morning with a view of Mt. Agung! The staff are friendly and very accommodating. The food is delicious and clean. The nature walk through the organic garden is most informative and incredibly relaxing. The yoga practice was held at the big villa with a fantastic view of Mt. Agung. The host was most helpful in organizing a trip to Tirta Empul and the nearby Pyramids of Chi. The owner also supports the local community and introduced us to Ms. Sari who runs an amazing organization to support local women who have been through failed marriages or cast out of homes. If you wish to learn more, just ask the management or staff and they will be very helpful. If you choose to stay at Alam Sari, I am very confident that you will have a good time.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Alam Sari for several nights. This property has the depth of a hotel that was one of the first in the area (think lush grounds, traditional architecture, and native fruit trees and flowers) with a full compliment of hospitality and services that is geared for the savvy western traveler (owned by a westerner with deep and respectful roots in Indonesia).. I love that it is 'off the beaten path' and yet the village of Ubud is only a few minutes away. The rooms feel quaint and solitary - with great privacy. The food is out of this world. I had an old injury flair up and they went out of their way to provide me with the support and ice I needed. You won't regret staying here.

My husband and I recently stayed at this delightful and pristine hotel for 3 nights. We stayed in the Pacah room which was very spacious with its own verandah and large bathroom. Our room and the hotel in general is very well maintained and very clean. The pool is very large so even if the hotel has several guests, privacy and space are assured. Many tours can be arranged with the friendly front office staff and all staff members cannot do enough to please its guests. Food choices were adequate and tasty. The vegetation around the hotel is lush and established and they even have their own organic garden from where seasonal produce is picked for use in the kitchen. Really enjoyed our stay and look forward to our next stay here.

The three nights at Alam Sari was a truly memorable experience from the greeting on our arrival with flowers and a delicious welcome drink until our bags were carried to our vehicle at the end of our magical stay. The staff were friendly and attentive throughout our visit and looked after our every needs. Our room looked towards Mount Agung and had a sitting area at the front - a peaceful place to read or contemplate. The food was excellent, with a choice of Western or Balinese breakfast (with delicious Jamu) and lunches and dinners made with local ingredients and a Balinese flavour. Indonesia was known as the Spice Islands and at Alam Sari you can experience this with a walk through the garden with Putu, a knowledgeable guide. He will pick fresh ginger, carve a slither of cinnamon bark from a tree and open a nutmeg and a cocoa pod. There are also many varieties of fruit and herbs growing in the garden. Putu will point these out to you as you walk through the garden and the rice paddies. The hotel also arranged outside trips for us - the visit to Tirta Empul Balinese Sacred Healing Temple a memorable experience. Thank you for a wonderful stay. I will be visiting Alam Sari again soon!

we just had the most wonderful stay at Alam Sari. The philosophy of the resort is in a true Bali experience. the resort has many relationships with the community and can arrange walks through the rice paddies, a cooking class in a traditional.Balinese home, a visit to the enchanting water purification temple, and can arrange to have a Balian Healer give you a treatment! the staff are wonderful and the food healthy, fresh, and delicious. I can't wait to come back!

You are certainly welcome back to Alam Sari, where our staff will consider you as family. Our hotel has been operating for 23 years and has deep roots into the local Balinese community and way of life. We continue to work hard to bring guests a positive experience of this corner of Bali through deep connections to the culture. We’re delighted you experienced this firsthand in the different ways you described. Our Balian Healer shares local expertise from a long tradition of Balian healers, and the village tour gives you insights into the Balinese way of life. Thank you.
