Wayans House Legian is THE BEST in the area.
Unbeatable location, service, staff, comfort and peace.
Wayans House is home to many guests.
Always welcoming and so helpful.
The beds are comfortable.
Air conditioning is great.
Fridge, safe and TV in all rooms. Breakfast is good.
Pool is awesome .
Wayan decorated his pool and a double room with abundant flowers for a celebration during my stay.
It was glorious 💗🌺💗
Swimming in the flower petal pool was surreal.
These personal touches are the difference between a hotel and a truely beautiful stay with an incredible family.
Wayan also has a gift shop at the beginning of his lane way and offers his current guest's 15%discount!!!
The carved wall hangings are gorgeous.
I had one made to order and l love it. 💗
He has a safe money change booth aswell.
I can not recommend Wayans House Legian highly enough.
Thank you to you all for another wonderful stay.

Loved staying here, great atmosphere and everyone so friendly.
Very clean and rooms serviced daily.
The pool was in excellent condition and grounds well cared for. There are lounge chairs around the pool.
The layout of this place is conducive to all the guests mingling well.

Great price for a comfortable stay in a fantastic location. Breakfast was simple but tasty and the staff are so helpful and friendly.
Bathroom is basic but has everything you need.
Wayan is lovely to deal with and super helpful.
It is in a gang just off Garlic lane so close to lots of shops and restaurants.

The owner Wayan and his staff make you feel welcome from the moment you step through the gate to their lovely little hotel. My room (No. 3) was quite large, air-conditioned, had a TV, was very clean and the Queen sized bed was very comfortable. My room was serviced everyday and was very clean. The basin is not in the bathroom with the toilet and shower, however, this was not a problem for me at all. There was a fridge in my room, which I stocked with drinks I purchased from the local supermarket. The crystal clear clean pool was a mere 5 steps from my room, and it was a great place to relax with a drink and a book, and meet other guests, or if we were lucky, listen to one of the staff, Putu play his acoustic guitar. Near the pool is a communal outdoor kitchen that guests are free to use, with a water cooler/boiling water system available for topping up water bottles or making a cuppa. A fridge is kept stocked with Bintang, on an honesty system, so guests can grab a cold beer to enjoy by the pool. Free Wi-Fi is available to guests. There is no restaurant or bar on site, but you are a mere 200 metres away from Jl Sahadewa with at least 6 restaurants/bars, and dozens more in the surrounding streets. The beach is a short 5 minute walk down Jl. Melasti or Jl Padma where you can relax under an umbrella with a cold drink, a snack or meal and enjoy the beautiful view or chill out with a book. Once you walk out of the Gang into Jl Sahadewa (aka Garlic Lane) the action smacks you right in the face, shopkeepers keen for your business, scooters laden with families and goods, tourists everywhere, but you know you can always walk back down the gang to the little oasis that is Wayan's house in the midst of the chaos of Legian. I stayed for 8 nights and the room rate at the time of my stay in June 2016 was 400,000 IDR per night. If you are after a fancy resort, with room service, restaurants and bars Wayan's is not for you. If you are after a clean, budget friendly hotel in a great location go for it. Walking down the gang alone at night can be a little intimidating, but I had no trouble at all. To book, call, or like Wayan's Facebook page and message him (that's how I booked). I am definitely going back next year.

I’m not sure any review written could really do this place any justice. I have just spent 2 amazing weeks at Wayans House, going purely on reviews I read. I have been going to Bali for 20 years, staying in 5 star resorts. This time I decided to try Wayans as I was going on my own. Wayan was so very welcoming from the minute I arrived, he treated me like family. Everything about Wayans House was faultless, the room, the pool, the little extra things you don’t get from an impersonal resort. I loved every single minute and will now only ever stay at Wayans. Do yourself a favour and book there, you won’t be disappointed 😊

Have stayed at Wayan's approx 8-10 times, such a lovely family and lovely little place to stay & very affordable. Family operated and they couldn't do enough for you, always willing to help in any way, Wayan puts on a weekly Bali breakfast to meet & greet people staying there, Pool is nice and refreshing, has many repeat customers who love it there also.. Wayan and family are just such a beautiful family and would recommend staying there to anyone, terima kasih :)

Small, comfortable, quiet and everything you need for a bargain stay in Legian.

Near to shops, restaurants and markets, Wayan is there to ensure you have an enjoyable holiday.

Comfortable rooms around the small pool contain all you need.

The resort is elegant in its simplicity.

I have only ever stayed in big hotels when visiting Bali. This is my first experience in a small guest house. Wayan's house may not have all the extra's you find in a hotel however it has everything you need for a great holiday - clean basic rooms with air-conditioning, small fridge, large balcony, crystal clear swimming pool and a yummy breakfast included, at a great price . Guests mingle easily with each other and breakfast in the communal kitchen was a fantastic way to start the day chatting to other guests. Wayan was often around for a chat and on hand if any advice was needed. This small private guest house feels very secluded yet it is actually only a couple of minutes walk down a lane way to the hustle and bustle of Legian. If you want to party and make lots of noise Wayan's house is probably not for you. Will I go back to Wayan's House.... without a doubt YES.

A friend of ours recommended we stay here and boy are we glad we did. Wayan's house is a lovely private guest house, not too big and in the best location to all the shops and beach. We were a bit worried as it was quite cheap but no.... don't worry it was beautiful. The rooms are a good size, offer wardrobes, great air conditioning and good bathroom facilities. It has the communal kitchenette which we loved and is perfect for a bit of a chat and lovely outside yard/garden area.
If you're looking for great accommodation that is clean and central at a great price you probably will not find better than this. Thank you Wayan

I stayed here in 2016 and 2017...The rooms are spotless ..The pillows were clean and fluffy and the beds are so comfortable..The a/c is really cold and there's a bar fridge also..Two steps out side your room is a really clean pool...There's a free safe in the room, spotless towels and sheets and you can wash your clothes in the washing machine on the premises...Free wifi and cable TV..Towards the back, just at the end of the pool is an open kitchen with a huge wooden table and bench seats, with cooking utensils, cutley, crockery and gas stove, fridge and a water cooler for guests to have fresh water to drink... You don't hear the noise from the street which is only a short walk down the lane..This guest house mainly has the age group of around 30's and upwards...It's fairly priced at around $40 AU per night..Wayang has his premises just across the lane so he is always around if you need anything or there's always staff there..Once you stay here, you will be back again and again...Wayang is like that favourite uncle you feel comfortable with and he mixes in with all the guests getting to know you and quite the joker..Just love this place but book ahead if possible as it's so popular.
