We stayed for 10 nights at The Kayana and had a brilliant time. The complex is set back off the main road but once inside you enter tranquil well maintained grounds that shield you from any traffic noise and the hustle and bustle of the bars and restaurants of Seminyak which are on your doorstep. We arrived to find our villa wasn’t quite ready so were directed to the restaurant for afternoon tea while we waited. After a short wait we were collected and it was worth the wait. Our villa was exceptional. Beautifully laid out with a large bathroom with waterfall shower and a big comfy bed. We had opted a plunge pool which was more than sufficient to allow us a quick cool off. There’s a fridge in the room with complimentary water which is replenished daily. Also a mini bar containing soft drinks, beer and wine which is payable locally. Breakfast is a la carte from a decent menu and we both really enjoyed the food. We tried lots of the different dishes. Our favourites were the Eggs Benedict and the Smashed Avocado with poached eggs. The staff at the hotel were exceptional. Every one greeted you with a big smile and were so polite and helpful it was a pleasure to be around them. Definitely a place we would come back to. A great location, close to the beach and Seminyak Square, Beautiful accommodation and fantastic staff. Thanks Kayana.

KAYANA is really nice, nice villas and staff. Staff are all 10/10!!
Quite large private pool. Note “private pool” is larger than the “plunge pools” they have.
For being so central, it is still very quiet in the villa area and peaceful.
I would recommend this place, it’s very very central and it is nice, however it’s nowhere near the standard of The Samaya for example
Kayana is showing its age a little.
We would have given this five stars, however there was some small issues that never got resolved, various lights outside our villa in our garden area did not work, but the biggest issue was the light just as you come in from your private Villa gate did not work so it was very, very dark when we opened our garden gate into the villa, we could not see anything at night
Multiple evenings in the dark, me and my wife would open our villa gate and we genuinely could not see anything it was so dark because the light did not work, we told the staff on day one and on day two, however when we checked out five or six days later it was still not fixed
There was also a light in the floor outside, just before you enter your villa door, it also did not work during the whole stay
This sun loungers did not to get the cushions put onto them until day four and I had to ask the staff to do this :(

I stayed in the 2bedroom pool villa with my friends here, it was lovely property. We got warm welcome and butler service. Location is very good, next to hotel you will find all good clubs, One of the good Club Shi-shi is just next to hotel, also if i write about room these were fantastic with fantastic amenities, F&b for in room was very reasonable and service to deliver things was very quick, i will highly recommend this hotel to everyone who are planning to stay in seminyak

Lovely welcome and all staff friendly, just wanting you to have an enjoyable experience. The villa is cool, beautifully furnished with English tv channels available. Plunge pool and privacy is a treat
Then there’s the extensive breakfast, again great service and even a free afternoon tea
We also both enjoyed a complimentary massage which was a real treat
Location is straight out onto the bustle of town with some great restaurants nearby

Absolutely one of the best villa in Seminyak - Bali, Nice and quiet while in the middle of hustle bustle Seminyak area, staff were very friendly and helpful. Romantic BBQ night in the Villa, one of thing that you have to try, they provide also floating breakfast to enhance your experience while you are staying there. Huge main pool, also very nice for me to enjoy the villa while I was having my afternoon tea.

Our stay at Kayana Seminyak was extremely nice. The hotel in located within walking distance to the beach, the Seminyak village and every popular eatery is closeby. The villas are spacious, and have all the amenities you could think of. You could relax in the pool or in the lounge area in the villa and not just spend a day without being bored. Coming to the food- it is superb! I loved the concept of not having buffet breakfast but having to choose from different options. No wastage of food and the each dish is made fresh. The staff is lovely. They always greet you with a smile. If I ever go back to Bali again I would definitely want to stay here one more time. One of our best stays during the Bali trip.

The Kayana Resort offers a generally positive experience, though it can vary depending on the location of your villa. Villas 811, 815, 817, 821, and 823 are in the more tranquil parts of the property, providing a peaceful retreat away from the nearby main road. These are ideal for guests seeking serenity. On the other hand, villas near the lobby—such as 801, 802, 803, and 806—tend to suffer from noise due to their proximity to the entrance and occasional street sounds.
A standout feature of The Kayana is the immediate sense of calm that washes over you upon entering, despite the hustle and bustle of the lively street just outside.
However, the resort’s atmosphere can be compromised by a nearby nightclub, which occasionally plays loud music well into the night, particularly on weekdays. This disruption, though rare, is beyond the resort’s control and may affect the overall experience.
To ensure a relaxing stay, I recommend booking villas farther from the lobby. In terms of service, The Kayana excels. The staff is exceptionally kind, hospitable, and always willing to go above and beyond, delivering five-star service. The food is generally quite good, adding to the overall enjoyment of the stay.
However, the resort does lose a star in my rating due to two factors: the occasional disruption from the nightclub and the condition of the villas, which are starting to show signs of wear and could benefit from some refurbishment. While still comfortable, the accommodations are beginning to look a bit tired and dated.

I would like to leave a review for the wonderful hotel the Kayana located at Seminyak. The hotel itself consists of detached villas with a private area, a private swimming pool and sunbads . We originally only booked a few nights at this lovely hotel, but we loved it so much that we decided to spend here the entire stay. Although the hotel is located in the very center of Seminyak, there is a sense of calm and relaxation in the villa and the hotel. I would like to note the atmosphere of friendliness and hospitality; all the hotel staff are always happy to help, smiling and positive people. The hotel has its own restaurant, which was very pleasantly surprising with the quality of the dishes, since guests usually order dinner in the villa in the restaurant in the evening, you can always easily find a table and receive almost personal service. I would especially like to note the work of the staff: the IKA manager is very professional, friendly and helped us get favorable conditions for staying at this hotel, we are very grateful to her! We also ordered a barbecue dinner , which was served in our villa and we were absolutely delighted! The chef and waiter DARMIKA organized a luxurious dinner with delicious seafood for us. ADIT is very friendly and always served us very professionally at dinner. And finally, the hotel has its own spa, they gave us a 20% discount on all massages, even my husband, who does not like massages, was delighted with the spa. We will definitely come back here again!❤️

Just the place for our much-needed relaxing holiday. Tranquil is the perfect word to describe this tucked away resort with its 24 private villas. If you need the bustle and chaos of Seminyak, (including its fabulous restaurants), it is just outside your door, but the minute you step into Kayana, peace rules! Our own private pool was a delight, but for serious lap swimming the big shared pool was wonderful. The Dauh reastaurant served a most generous, delicious and varied breakfast each morning, along with some fine evening meals as part of the package. (Only complaint is that they should put more local food offerings on the package menu). Notably the staff at the resort are the loveliest, kindest, most helpful people; nothing too much trouble for them. The daily service to our room was immaculate - everything clean and fresh, promptly done, and the room itself is spacious with no desired amenities lacking. We recommend Kayana most highly. Simply beautiful.

We had a package through tripadeal. It had some added inclusions such as 5 dinners or lunches and also daily cocktail for 2. Return transfers. The staff here are impeccable. They will go out of their way for you to have a memorable holiday experience. We had come across from Melbourne, Australia post Bali removing the need for PCR prior to arrival. We are glad we did. The property is a throw back to Bali villa tranquillity but with the 5 star service. Meals. Excellent. Staff. Excellent. Location. Excellent. It is nestled between the W and potato head. To give u an understanding of location. We will go back.

We had a private pool and it was the perfect temperature first thing in the morning and late at night. I’m quite fussy with pool temperatures. Our pool didn’t need heating it was lovely and warm.

The villas do not have a “lounge” type area, we tended to sit in the outside gazebo in the evenings when we weee at the villa as lovely and warm. Mind you, most evenings we went out into the town or to Potato Head for food/drinks etc.
It is a lovely complex and people so very very friendly.
