Avoid this place if you are looking for tranquillity. The villa right next door to us had 2x little dogs (the worst) barking DAY AND NIGHT NON STOP! We asked the management, the staff and the guest themselves to at least put them inside or do something about it. No one cares… we didn’t sleep for the entire stay.

In 2019, we booked a stay at Jays Villas for 2020 through booking.com. Unfortunately due to COVID-19 and government restrictions we were unable to travel. Our booking was refundable until the day before travel and we emailed them to cancel. They asked if we could please try a credit until the end of 2020 first to see how long the restrictions would be in place, and because we love Bali so much we agreed to try that first. At the end of 2020 the restrictions were still in place, with no end in sight so we emailed again and asked for a refund, at which stage we were told they would not give us a refund and they changed our booking date on booking.com to look like we had already traveled, therefore forfeiting our opportunity to cancel and obtain our refund through the app. We have now lost $700AUD and Jays Villas are refusing to refund our money. Very disappointed in the customer service and definitely would not recommend staying at a place that steals customers money through deceit.…

We stayed here during our honeymoon trip for 2 days. Villa is having good space for rooms and bathrooms. You'll surely like it. In night it gets little dark due to low lighting in garden area. Plus in night, you'll get insects from garden side (plus mosquito) also. And if you leave food around dining table then ants will catch it up till the morning or in couple of hour. If you are staying for having great time it's really appreciated one.

We had awesome stay here for 2 days and nights, excellent room service, very gentle and english speaking staff. Only problem was food. For vegitarians there are no much food options, specially indians you wont be able to eat their fried rice, but they have some vegitarian desert items made of fruits, ice cream , french fries. But talking about the amenities at the villa , its a private villa with private pool with every other amenity in the world. Awesome and peaceful place. Neighborhood is calm and silent. I totally recommend this place to others visiting Bali.

We absolutely loved our stay at Jay's Villa Umalas. This is our third time coming to Bali and it is by far, our favourite villa that we have stayed in. The location is great, the villa was clean and the bedroom upstairs was beautiful. We enjoyed being able to have our breakfast by our private pool. The staff were so friendly and accommodating, and there were no problems with us checking in despite landing in Bali past midnight. We will definitely be back!

We loved our stay in jays villa , staff was great , villa and pool was wonderful but the food was very disappointing. Otherwise it was good, a bit far from seminyak , loved it , but we dont recommend their food and breakfast at all

Good vibe, relax and excellent staff, clean room. The location is strategists, I love the living room and enjoyed the pool with cuties unicorn floaties, so intagramable. Breakfast are good and delicious Like it so much.

We stayed only 2 nights in this villa, and my only critic is that we didnt stay longer. This accomodation is perfect for a couple, as we were, or for a family due to the private pool. The villa was very spacious, well decorated and very clean. Absoluetly would recommend! The staff were very helpful and accomadating. Location was easy to access, and we were able to hire a scooter on site. Great stay!
