Beautiful villa, rooms are clean and comfy. Conveniently located on a street with plenty of food, convenience store and laundry shop. Service from all staff is very good, staff are really friendly and helpful. Airport transfer is efficient and feels personalised as driver dropped us off and waited for us to have lunch on our request. The private pool villa is magnificient. Kids loved it. We love the outdoor style bathrooms and showers too. They even provided a cake for me for my birthday.

Two couples for four nights. Villas, staff, breakfast and restaurant meals and drinks all excellent. Transfers and drivers all also excellent. All staff VG English. Not much around the location for walking so ensure to plan transport for outings like Canggu Beach.

We stayed in a villa with 2 bedrooms. We really like the design of this spacious 2 bedroom villa. Has a separate living room and kitchen equipped with air conditioning (but it looks like a 3 bedroom villa doesn't have a living room and kitchen with air conditioning like this). Each room is spacious with its own bathroom. The area of this villa is not too crowded and only a few good restaurants and a mini market that can be reached by walking. Breakfast at this villa is also very good and with many menu choices. Overall the whole villa is very comfortable for those who like tranquility. But what we feel is that the lighting in this villa is rather minimal (maybe it was made with a theme like that). We asked and they were ready to provide additional information if needed. They also use sliding doors between rooms and some of these sliding doors feel a bit heavy (watch out for those with long and pretty nails 😁). Overall we love this nice villa !…

Amazing service right from the start! We were exhausted when we arrived but the check-in was fast and we got welcome drinks which were so refreshing! There was also a welcome platter of piping hot finger food sent to our room. The villa is gorgeous that my kids said this was the highlight of our trip for them. I do wish there was a ramp available at the entrance and around the hotel to ease movement for wheelchair or elderly. The stairs can be inconvenient for elderly people and not so safe for little children. I wish the lighting in the villa was brighter as it seemed to dim at most areas, especially the pool. Perhaps there can be a fuction for us to control the brightness in our villa and bedrooms. We are surrounded by some greenery, trees, so do expect mosquitoes and insects, but its not too bad. I did get some mosquito bites, but its just me. I tend to attract them :( Anyway the housekeeping placed mosquito/insect coil and repellant for us so it helps! We felt so comfortable in the villa, there is some privacy. But I wish the main gate can be locked. I was always anxious about people entering our villa without our knowledge. Only the 2nd door-gate can be locked but i feel its redundant as people can still enter from the 1st main gate. There is no doorbell, so when the staff enters the main gate, they will call out to us. Luckily we are quite alert so we can hear when someone's at our 2nd gate. The beds and pillows are great! We slept well every night :) We also love that we can choose to have our breakfast in the villa. The butler service communication is via whatsapp, and this is one of the best part. It makes it easier for us to make requests. The breakfast menu contains pork, but they cater to us being Muslims and will use halal meat for us. We love the food, its delicious! Overall, i would say i love my stay here in The Santai. It lived up to its name, which allows you to just santai (relax) and they will cater to all your needs. As it only consists of 11 villas, we received personalised service which went above and beyond our expectation. We loved the pool and the massage. However, some improvements can be done especially the lighting at the dining area. It’s quite dim for our liking. The bathtub also needs to be revamped as it slightly stained and we did not make use of it.
