I stayed in a one bed villa. The key selling point is the large 13m x 3m pools which were fantastic. They are 1.4m deep the whole length so good for lap swimming. The pool was clean and got enough sun to stay refreshing and cool.

The villa facilities were good, big bathroom, comfortable clean beds. The staff were all friendly, especially the guards on security at the gate.

Food was also good with large breakfast spreads and some items done very well - the Shakshuka eggs was well executed and wouldn't be out of place in one of the fancy cafes outside.

The location is set back from the very, very busy Jalan Petitenget but you have no road noise in the villa. There is some building work opposite but the noise was minimal when I stayed and it didn't bother me at all. All of Seminyak and surrounding areas is a quick cab ride.

Out the door you have some excellent restaurants very close - I highly recommend 'York' across the road for dinner and superb cocktails. Taco Casa for excellent Mexican, Pison Cafe for the coffee lovers and gourmet breakfasts.

Very warm and hospitable staff. Everyone has always smile on their faces. During our 8 nights stay in the property, we felt like it is our home. The security guards are always there to assist us and to always greet us with a warm smile even on the late night evenings. Very charming villas nearby good restaurants and spas! A little bit far on the beach but a good 20 minutes walk won’t hurt much. The villa and the whole area is very well maintained. Special mentioned to the housekeeping team for all their efforts. It was a very memorable stay for us. ❤️

We absolutely loved staying here for our 10 day trip! The room was much larger than expected and the pool was lovely and clean.
It’s located at the top end of Seminyak but still close to favourites like Ling Lings, Ingka and Kynd for food.
Our room was cleaned at least once a day, sometimes twice! When they came back to give us dessert in our room it was lovely to come back from dinner to a fresh room.
The only downside they did not have a scale available to weigh our bags upon checkout but you could easily bring your own from home which we forgot.

We absolutely loved our stay and would have loved to have stayed longer. The staff were amazing and nothing was too much trouble. It's hard to single any one staff member out because they were all so accommodating and helpful. We had the Royal Villa and it was so spacious and peaceful. The winning aspect was the swimming pool! We were already planning when we can come back to Javana in the future and will definitely be coming back. The location was great, with lots of restaurant choices and the beach was not too far away!

Great spot and very tidy and at least the sun actually spends some time over the 14m private pool so you don't freeze . Lovely polite staff and short walk from good eateries ... really can't fault it . Bit of work going on next door with new hotel but noise level wasn't any bother and privacy maintained . Room huge and Aircon sized correctly for it so you won't get hot. Have no hesitations recommending it to couples and there are family villas available as well by the looks of it . 10/10 will stay again regards Adrian and Korrina

The villa is actually really nice and spacious. However, there are SO MANY WORMS! There are literally hundreds of worms in the villa. If you love worms then this is the place for you. But if you don’t, then stay away from this villa! They are everywhere, toilet, pool, sitting area around the pool, even in the bedroom. This place is like a worm hive!

The best service you can get for this price range! Amenities are top notch and the restaurant provide the nicest floating breakfast i have in Bali. Can't wait to go back for my second honeymoon!

I loved everything about our private pool villa at Javana. The villa was really modern and everything was of highest standard, which is sometimes hard to find in Bali. The service was 10/10 and breakfast was delicious (you must have their floating breakfast!). They even offered afternoon tea with delicious sweets. Luxury and private experience, so perfect!

Was drawn to this villa because of the long lap pool and the affordable rates. It's a promising place, but there were several letdowns. Let's start with the positive points first - the villa looks exactly like the pictures that you see on the website. Very spacious and quiet. Great for hosting friends for a party, since there's a huge couch. You can literally run up and down your room for a workout, haha!

Thanks to other reviews on TripAdvisor, I realised it was possible to request for breakfast to be served in your villa. Don't assume that breakfast will be brought to you. You have to order / request for it the night before. Otherwise they assume that you'll be taking your breakfast in the hotel restaurant which seemed pretty forlorn. We haven't seen any customers in there during our stay there. Breakfast was average.

Location wise... there's a pretty good restaurant (Cafe Jemme) just opposite the hotel. It's also quite close to popular hangouts like Potatohead Beach Club and restaurants near Seminyak Square. MOST of the staff are polite and friendly too.

If you're into soft beds, you would like this hotel. I like my bed and pillows firm, so I had a really hard time sleeping.

Ok on to the negatives:
- They insisted that we settle the accommodation bill immediately upon check-in. Although that is the standard procedure in most hotels, I found it quite brusque to be presented a bill the moment I stepped in the hotel. The staff didn't ask how we were or where we came from, and we didn't feel very welcome.. Ok nevermind. When I said I left my credit card in the luggage and didn't have enough cash with me, and whether I could pay in the evening because we had to rush to an appointment, I could feel her distaste - as if I was going to run away without paying. After we returned to the hotel, they asked us to pay before we were handed the keys to our room. Maybe I'm too oversensitive.

- The villa was quite worn out. There was rust on the mirror, the sockets on the mirror were loose... Towels and bed sheets were stained. You could tell that not much maintenance work was done. Jacuzzi looked really grimy/dirty. We tried filling it up but the water level never got past our ankles. Ummm..... so we didn't use it at all. Windows were dirty. Half flush in the toilet didn't work either.

- I wanted to enjoy some tea on an evening BUT when I opened the kettle, there was this white crusty layer of dried water??? in it.. UGH GROSS.

-Their idea of a mosquito net is literally strips of netting with gaps in between. What's the point of having these hanging strips if mosquitoes can get through these gaps? I was attacked by mosquitoes every night. BUT they did provide insecticide though.. I was just too lazy to get up.

- FROG IN MY SHOWER CLOSET. I don't know how it got there considering how we kept our doors closed all the time. OMG. We didn't call the housekeeping staff cos it was quite late at night, so we attempted to "cage" it using a glass cup.

- Housekeeping staff left our door wide open. Seems like it's standard practice because we saw all the doors open while we walked back after lunch. There are a total of three doors in the villa. The main door, the room door and the back door. Yes they locked the door that led to the room, but the main/back door wasn't locked. So strangers/staff could enter our room through the back door... Thankfully we didn't lose anything but I'm not sure why the main door was left open.

Don't think I'll return again, despite the really really huge room.

We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived here. This beautiful tranquil retreat is in the outskirts of busy Seminyak. The villa has an amazing private pool, spacious living area and the staff are extremely friendly. They will drive you one way to restaurants, and local attractions ie. Ku De Ta, The Potato Head, Sarong Restaurant. Afternoon tea is served at your door at your convenience.

We would thoroughly recommend this hotel to people who are looking for couple (not children).
