DURA VILLAS BALI HK$510 (H̶K̶$̶5̶7̶3̶) - Prices & Villa Reviews

This is a lovely place to stay if you want to just relax and unwind. It is a bit far out but there is a one way free shuttle service and you make your way back yourself. Breakfast is nice and served by your pool. It is beautiful, clean and staff our just amazing. A special thank you goes to Boby who went out of his way to make our stay so special. We wil be back.

Nice but no hot water and pool water wasn’t well maintained

This is the first time I’ve stayed there for 2 nights and during my stay there wasn’t hot water at all, pool water tasted so salty and burning my face and eyes and there was 2 huge lizards (more like crocodiles) fell from the top of the tree and walked around the pool. But the staff there were nice and friendly.

And thank you so much for your time, writing this review and giving 3 star :) Sorry for the inconvenience. The only shower that has no hot water is the one near the pool, as it is only used to rinse after swimming. If the hot water doesn't work, you can actually dial 0 and our engineering will be very happy to fix it for you. As the other villa has no problem with the hot water on the date of your stay. And so does the pool water. About the huge lizard, if you have the picture, please send to info@duravillasbali.com. We will investigate if there is any. Because lizards that are usually found in our villa (and maybe Pelataran as well), are cicak & tokek, which is only maximum 10-15 cm long, and their looks and length is way far from even a baby crocodile. Gorgeous!

This place is amazingly peaceful and SO spacious, we couldn’t believe the size for just us and feel guilty that we didn’t bring our 4 kids with us, as the 2 bedroom villas would definitely have had enough room! The pool is beautiful, not to cold or to warm, and the gardens are so tranquil (as I lay here on the huge outdoor lounge all I can here are birds, crickets and frogs..!) I just wish we had booked for longer!

surprising value and service, just missing infrastructure

For full review, go to hungryfizzio at blogspot Facilities - 3/5 Lost points for crappy internet, the crack in the tub, the slide door that couldn't be closed fully. Gained points for the size of the pool. Food - 3.5/5 Lost points for the apple juice welcome drink and the bacon, but gained points for having fresh koi carp. Location - 2/5 Rideshare is a must. Even though the coach service was very reliable, you have to return somehow. Lost points for neighbor's rooster flock. Service - 5/5 Service I did not expect in a place of this price range and caliber. Internet - 2/5 People these days can't live without the internet, and it was S.H.I.T, like cannot connect, or nothing's transmitting. +1 point for the pocket wifi they provided afterwards. TL:DR - A surprisingly pleasant stay with excellent service, shuttle service, and passable food (you should be eating out in Bali anyway). The hardware of the villas needs to be improved, particularly the sliding door seal, the bathtub and the goddamn internet!!! Otherwise the staff do a wonderful job with what they have. If you can block out the rooster crowing in the morning, this villa provides an excellent value stay in Bali.…

Dear Hungryfizzio, It was really entertaining to read the complete review in your blog, especially the bath tub part. LOL We have been fixing stuff, btw. 1. We are now using fibreoptic wi-fi, only 30-40mbps but no more complain from guests. Still we have spare pocket wi-fi just in case the central wi-fi is having another problem. 2. We are turning the welcome drink from apple juice into JAMU, Indonesian traditional drink. What happen to the bacon? would you tell us more about that? 3. Sorry, about the rooster. Nothing we can do about it :( 4. About the sliding door, it is on our to do list. Will work on it when the low season coming. Thank you so much for writing such a long and detail review. Amazing

The staff here are super friendly and very polite. Always respecting your privacy. At this place there is plenty of that. Villa itselfwas amazing. Super clean. Very spacious. Will deffinately be going back again. Thanks Ari and the team for making our stay a pleasant one.
