Positive: Outstanding experience; one of my best hotel stays in recent years. First: the helpful and friendly staff during a four-night stay, demonstrating the advantages of staying at a well-run small hotel (7 villas) instead of a big, impersonal hotel with hundreds of rooms. Second: the comfort and design of the villa itself. The hotel isn’t responsible for the frenetic circus that is now Bali, but it provides a convenient and quiet oasis from the chaos, being just 50 meters off the bustling Petitenget Road, chock full of restaurants, money changers, and souvenir and massage shops. The details matter and show the astute management of the Japanese owner. For example, the tropical garden setting poses the possible nuisance of mosquitos, but the hotel provides repellent cream, spray, coils, bed netting, and daily fogging to address the potential problem. The small private pool was clean and well-maintained and was delightful for floating or paddling around on a hot afternoon. The outdoor shower was a nice novelty. Breakfasts brought to the patio in the morning were substantial, and the initial supply of fruit and soft drinks in the fridge was complimentary. The staff arranged for a motorbike rental and even shoe repair. The hotel provided free pickup at the airport and the driver patiently helped me purchase a local SIM card before we left the terminal. Upon departure, the ride back to the airport was also free. Negative: The only negatives were the lack of English-language channels such as CNN and the lack of a safe box in the villa, but there were safe boxes available behind the reception desk. …

located in a very nice area of seminayak. short walk under 10 mins to the beach. night clubs and restaurants and quick mart very nearby. it was cute the way they gave return gifts. the accommodation was excellent, especially large bathrooms. the dining table is a bit awkward. they arrange massages and also 2 wheelers

I was fortunate to enjoy NYE at this property, whilst I attended an event at the neighbouring Potato Head, from the moment I arrived I was looked after, the staff could not do enough for me. The complimentary airport transfer was a nice extra also. I wish I had found this property sooner and enjoyed more time. Can’t wait to return. Thanks again for the hospitality.

We stayed here and loved it! The villas are beautiful and clean in the perfect location in Seminyak. Staff here were beyond helpful, nothing was a problem and they went out of their way to make sure we were happy. We will be back here for sure!

The villa is stunning, completely private and incredibly spacious. Fully equipped with everything you could possibly need - we thoroughly enjoyed having the use of kitchen facilities with a gas hob so we could cook for ourselves if we didn’t fancy eating out. The bed was so comfortable as were the sun loungers. The a/c was cold and the water was hot. The pool was much bigger than I expected. All of the staff are so friendly and helpful from reception to the housekeeping and maintenance staff - nothing was too much trouble. Our villa was thoroughly cleaned daily and we were given fresh towels/linen and drinking water. They offer complementary shuttle services to nearby towns and airport pickup/drop off which was a great start and finish to our holiday. They can also organise trips and bike rentals for you. The room service was hot and tasty (we had nasi goreng) and you can also upgrade to a daily breakfast that they bring to your villa. Afternoon tea and a massage was a lovely way to spend time in the villa on one of the rainy days. The do a daily “de-bugging” around 4.30pm everyday to reduce the amount of mosquitoes. They come around with a fogging machine which is quite loud and best to leave the villa for but they phone ahead to let you know that it’s due to start so you have time to leave. The location is excellent, in the middle of Seminyak and Canggu. Everything is on your doorstep - beach, minimart, supermarket, laundry, gym, countless bars, restaurants, beach clubs and cafes. The villas are located on a small side street just off of the main road but despite this, you couldn’t hear any traffic or noise, it was so quiet and peaceful. The place is awesome, beautiful and also staff is very helpful. They clean our villa everyday and we liked how kind they are. The location is perfect because its in the middle of everything. Next to the potato head which is one of our favorite place to get drinks and also infront is our favorite breakfast spot called the fat turtle. I love our swimming pool, very relaxing. It feels like home for us.

Myself and my partner stayed here in Feb 2020 in the superior room for 10 days. As a 1st time visitor to Bali, this place was perfect for anxious travellers. A quiet retreat but close to everything (Max 15 mins). Everything we wanted to visit or eat at was within walking distance. The villa was excellent - the pool was the perfect temperature, the surroundings tranquil, the staff were very friendly and welcoming, and the daily breakfasts were tasty. We are very glad we chose this location for our 1st time. Thank you management.

The Bush villas are in a perfect location for everything Seminyak has to offer, the courtesy bus from the villas means you can easily explore nearby also. The staff are amazing and attentive also and we felt very much at home. There are only a couple of improvements the villas need to make, the first and most damaging was the amount of plastic. Everything was wrapped in plastic, cutlery, towels, beach towels, glasses, even utensils were wrapped in plastic. While I suspect they were trying to make a point of saying “this is clean” it was horrendous to have to unwrap layer and layers of plastic to use a glass, or get a towel. In 2019 in Bali and globally we would be minimising this type of waste. Only other constructive point is the villas are looking a bit tired and dated, while still nice and lovely, they are coming up time for a refresh and refit. …

We stayed in a villa which was in very spacious grounds with a good size private pool and two bedrooms which can be configured as a double and two single beds, on opposite sides giving privacy to both the parents and the children. For very young children this villa set up would not have worked but for us it was perfect. It was about 150 yds from the main street but quiet, yet there was a large choice of restaurants, beach clubs and spas close by.The villas have a shuttle bus which will collect and deliver you to the airport and take you to nearby locations at no additional cost. Security is good and the staff were most obliging with any request. There is a good breakfast choice and the food is reasonable. Our room was spacious and had a bathroom and dressing area with a bath and open air shower- one of the highlights for us. There was a spacious area with table and chairs and comfortable settees and chairs to relax in beside the pool. A fridge was also provided with water replaced every day at no extra cost and plates, utensils and cutlery are all provided with coffee and tea available as well as other soft drinks and beers in the fridge.…

Really a great place to stay in Seminyak. The villas look even better than in the photos. The Villas come with a load of extras including airport transfers, a great fruit basket, soft drinks, daily breakfast and afternoon tea. We were there celebrating a special occasion and the staff really made sure we had a great experience throughout the entire stay.
