As expected! The place are clean. The staff also friendly. They will help your need such as motorbike rental. The place also private and easy to find. If you need a quite place this place are suite for you. They also served breakfast until 11am, which is good for us. Would stay again

We stayed at Maca Villa and Spa at Umalas for seven nights with a Luxury Escapes deal. The villa was amazing with a large private pool and separate bedroom, lounge and bathroom areas all air conditioned or able to be open to the outside. Plentiful and a choice of breakfast options able to be had in the villa or restaurant. We also enjoyed two lunches and one dinner in the restaurant - all amazing and tasty meals and daily free cocktails. We enjoyed a cooking class with the chel and travelled to Denpasar markets - loved the experience. Had a free massage at the Spa which was amazing as well. Highly recommend this place.

The villas in Umalas are a perfect place to relax. Updated , clean and 5 star accommodation. Each with private pool. A free shuttle or gojek ( get the app- Bali’s uber) will take you into their gym, pools, sauna, spa , spin classes etc at their Soham Wellness centre in Seminyak. Unbelievable- check it out on line. Heaps of little bonuses in various packages. Close Canggu.

All staff very friendly and professional, from reception to gardeners. We were upgraded to 2 bedroom Villa which was huge with large pool, so cannot review 1 bed villas. Nice touch was a personalised welcome card in the villa. Restaurant was excellent,great service and food. We had a small problem with one meal,and the Villa manager cancelled the bill, without us asking for a refund. We had a great 3 day stay. Try the sweet corn vender (turn right at end or drive way 1 hundred mts up road) cooked on coconut husks,beautiful flavour. Well done Maca Villas

Staff amazing, they make the place Nothing too much trouble always on hand to help and serve ! Very quiet area just outside of Seminyak Villas need upgrading …. But overall clean and a most enjoyable stay Traffic was a nightmare getting into and out of Seminyak ! But it was Christmas and New Year !!!!

Location-wise, it's good! very accessible with both car and motorcycle. All staffs are very attentive and helpful! I stayed in one bedroom with a private pool, the property is very well maintained. A perfect place to chill and relax!

We had a great escape from work and loved the villa. We received the resident rate via our KITA's which is great value for money. Space and lay out been excellent. Location is close to Canggu and Seminyak. Staff been very welcoming and available if needed. The only recommendation would be to have a more visual signage on the road side as the villas are down a small drive way. Google shown opposite location...

Large private pool, large area, friendly stuffs and great service! The only issues are rather minor: - Food is not amazing - There are some ants or small bugs, but I guess with that kind of weather and a outdoor pool, it's hard to avoid

We booked Maca Villas and Spa in Umalas through Scoopon for 9 nights and it was a fantastic deal including 3 dinners in the restaurant. The food is wonderful and I had a birthday cake that was out of this world. The restaurant is open air so there are mosquitoes and bugs. The staff did give us repellent spray when we asked. Because it’s open it can be very hot, especially when it’s humid. They could do with installing fans. The villas are lovely, quiet and clean. Everything you could want for. The pool is amazing, great temperature but a little difficult to get in and out of. The step inside the pool is a long way down and there is no handrail. We had breakfast (included) bought to the villa daily and it was all good food. Afternoon tea was also fantastic. Included in the deal is a nightly cocktail also great. Massages also included, you could have it in your villa or a driver takes you to Seminyak to the Spa. If you want to have them in your villa a 30 minute massage is done on your bed but if you have an hour they bring a massage bed. Make sure you book the day before because we missed out on 2 massages because they didn’t have anyone available. As with anything in Bali you have to ask . Ask for your breakfast menu, ring and ask to have your afternoon tea, ask for your cocktails, ask for plug in mosquito and bug spray for your room. The staff are so accommodating and lovely. Always very friendly. There is a free shuttle to Seminyak Village shopping centre. The drivers are all lovely. Umalas is a quiet place and there is nowhere to walk to (there is a mini mart not far but is didn’t have much) Getting Gojek or a cab is easy if you do want to go to a restaurant or shopping. We had an excellent holiday and would definately go back to Maca Villa and Spa Umalas.…
