We stayed here several years ago & recall the great French toast breakfast; owners were front & center during our initial stay. This year it wasn't a special experience; it seems the lodging is run by non-owner employees. Front office hours are very limited.
This was our final night of a road trip, so we were pretty tired. The room was pleasant and clean, though we later discovered water dripping from the ceiling into the bathtub (presumably when the upstairs guests were showering). I could see this was not...More

Ditto, the hot tub was working in July but I did not use it and it was at a different building than my room. I had the same thought that it would be a great treat after hiking for 10 hours but my personal schedule didn't permit and the bath in my suite was so comfy I didn't feel I missed out. Regarding the post about breakfast, I thought a made-to-order, homemade breakfast of waffles/pancakes and eggs was actually pretty sweet. Cereal is an option but they usually had a warm breakfast offering if you show up on time. Hot tea and coffee all day in the lounge by the fireplace. Great Inn.
