We attended a beautiful wedding at The Palace hotel. The ceremony, cocktail hour and reception were held all held in an elegant, private space. The staff was friendly and professional from the moment we walked in. Everything was perfect!

This hotel is top-notch but for a few things. Since guests are paying top dollar to stay here I think it’s only fair you’re aware of a few things. First the good stuff- fab location, short walk to most anywhere, great staff, friendly, quick, attentive. Beautiful place, I mean WOW! We staying in Executive suite (a king bedroom, a living room, HUGE bathroom with tub and marble shower, bidet, double sinks, premium Molton Brown toiletries. Two closets, safe, mini fridge. TVs in each room. Oh yeah, the view! We were on 34th floor and the view was all of st Patrick’s cathedral. Just stunning! Now the problems. There is only one working elevator (max limit 4 people) for the towers. Tons of elevators for The Palace guests. So expect to wait…a lot. None of the bars or restaurants are reopened yet. And my only other complaint is the front entrance, the one so heavily featured on Gossip Girl, is closed. No idea why but disappointing, as everyone wants to see that area for a few selfies, maybe that’s why it’s closed? MLB teams stay here so keep your eyes open for sightings. The Chamber Magic show, in the hotel is a must see. Great show! Overall I would recommend this hotel, but they really need to expedite the elevator situation. Lots of guests were a bit ticked off.

Response from Becky Hubbard, General Manager at The Towers at Lotte New York Palace
Responded 1 Aug 2021
Dear Leslie T, Thank you for your review of Lotte New York Palace. I'm so glad that you had the opportunity to stay with us and I'm equally glad that you enjoyed our staff, our service, the view, your suite , the amenities and of course Chamber Magic. The effects of Covid19 have been difficult and we are working hard to restore many services which we had to suspend for the safety of our staff and guests alike. We are also in the process of completing a major upgrade to our Towers Elevators which will be complete in just a few weeks. I truly appreciate the honesty of your review and hope that you will return to stay with us again when your travels bring you to NYC. Best regards, Becky Hubbard General manager

Second to NONE! Experience, space, and personal touches await you as soon as you reach the door!
As soon as you walk in your are whisked away to the Towers entry - a private area away from the hustle & bustle of the lobby. You are greeted with champagne as the staff finalizes the details of your stay, really cementing that you are in for a lovely vacation and a luxurious stay. A quick ride in the gilded elevators, and you are on your floor.
We stayed in the Towers Two Bedroom Corner Suite on the 52nd floor. The room was breathtaking, with unobstructed views over St. Patrick's Cathedral, Rockefeller Center, Radio City Music Hall, Midtown, views of Central Park, and even the George Washington Bridge if you look far enough!
The space is stunning as soon as you walk in, with a wonderful entry way lit by a chandelier, large coat closet, and powder room. You walk from the entry into a massive dining and living area. The views are stellar as noted above, but even nicer is the sheer amount of space, the modern design of the furniture, and the thoughtfulness of the curation of the space. The bedrooms are very large as are the bathrooms which made our stay that much more comfier. There is a kitchen complete with a minibar and wine fridge, and unexpected but lovely addition!
We utilized many of the services available to guests; to name a couple, shoe shine and pressing (completed within an hour!) and room service. Upon arrival we were greeted with a bottle of champagne and small snacks from the lovely Sales Manager, Dan Nelson. He truly took wonderful care of us and the thought to have these items waiting upon our arrival truly was the cherry on top of a fantastic stay.
I will recommend the Towers to anyone visiting or planning a stay-cation!

I was very hyped about my stay at the Towers and got my family excited about the heritage, the service and the amenities offered as well. The plethora of outstanding reviews online gave me confidence that it will be a great experience. Unfortunately, the hotel turned out to be such a letdown and I wish I had booked elsewhere for our family holiday. The hotel is beautiful, I'll give you that. But the service, oh goodness the service. Coffee and tea refills take 45 mins to arrive; the right number of cups / towels / glasses is never provided despite our repeat reminder of there being 4 room guests; there is supposedly complimentary Mercedes or Mayback rides but funnily there are either no drivers after 8pm or worse, no service on a Tuesday (whatever that means, since nothing is mentioned in the guest services brochure). We told the housekeeping staff that we will be checking out at 1pm on our last day and they came around at 1:05pm and started complaining because we asked for 5 mins more to wheel our luggage out, literally chasing us to leave. The final shock was getting slapped with a bill of $120+ for coffee refills and teabags (2 coffee satchets and 4 teabags to be exact) over 4 days, although no pricing was ever provided, no bill was ever signed nor an itemized invoice ever provided, even at check-out. I didn't want to quibble over the cost or the charge, but rest assured that we will never stay again at this hotel. Also as a warning to all others: always ask if there is a price because never assume with this hotel.

We booked a six night stay at the Lotte Towers Palace Hotel for our 25th anniversary in September of 2019. We had booked a Tower room at the hotel twice before, and enjoyed our stays. However, this last visit in September was a nightmare!
We did not know that the UN Security Council was in session the week we were booked to arrive. (The hotel should have informed "regular" guests that the Security Council was in session and that delegates would be staying at the hotel.)
We arrived at the hotel, and were not allowed to enter the front entrance, instead we were told to enter through a side entrance and required to go through a security check and body scan (each time we entered the hotel). Our visit continued to get even worse, as the hotel was crowded with security and delegates, with areas of the hotel closed off to non delegate guests. Check in was long and tedious as was the wait for the elevators.
Our assigned room was dated, with mold in the bathroom. We know there are newer "renovated" rooms, as we had enjoyed these accommodations during prior stays. Some hotel services were cancelled due to the number of delegates and security at the hotel. We were not allowed access to restaurants and bar areas during most of our visit, and could not enjoy any of lobby areas due to the crush of security and delegates.
We asked the manager for some form of compensation, for the inconvenience. He offered us a $50.00 hotel credit, and nothing more. I refused, as we had spent over $5,000.00 for this "luxury" Tower stay. Beware if you plan on booking this property.
We will never book this hotel again!

We had a wonderful stay at The Lotte New York Palace. Our tower king room was magnificent with an outstanding view of St. Patrick’s Cathedral. The room was huge, well equipped and spotless. We were hungry after our trip into the city so we ordered room service snacks right away. The delicious snacks were brought up quickly by a very kind in room dining staff member. The concierge named Kal was very helpful in helping us plan our outings and with navigating the city. The housekeepers were so pleasant and would inquire about our needs whenever we passed them in the hallway. We loved the coffee shop for delicious bagels and coffee. The hotel is in a perfect location with Rockefeller Center and Times Square an easy walk away. We also walked to Central Park and strolled 5th Avenue. We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend stay at The Palace and can’t wait to return! Thank you to your staff for making us feel so comfortable and pampered!

We stayed here for 9 nights over Christmas in a one bedroom executive suite. We loved our stay. We were on the 49th floor overlooking the Rockefella Center and St Patricks Cathedral. The views are fantastic! The suite is lovely. A hallway with a coat closet, good sized living room and bedroom and a large bathroom. Some have said the bathrooms are a little old fashioned but they are very clean and very big with a separate shower and bath. Housekeeping were fantastic. Friendly and efficient. We didn't use the font desk much but were friendly when we did. On the first few nights of the stay there was complimentary champagne and drinks when you entered the Towers foyer which was a nice touch. We used the complementary Maybach once which was very nice. We had drinks at Rarities once which was lovely, overlooking the large Christmas Tree at the entrance. We never ate at the restaurant but did use Pomme Palais which was nice but expensive. The hotel has fantastic Christmas decorations and is just steps away form Saks and Fifth Avenue. It is pricey and if the price was right would happily stay again especially at Christmas.

I was very grateful and appreciative of the best Christmas gift 🎁 . Have stayed at this ICONIC property. The ambiance is very grandiose, very festive and beautiful Christmas decor 🎄🎄, especially the courtyard with its pretty Christmas trees 🎄, The check in was quite delayed due to the influx of overwhelming guests. Clara was very nice and accommodating. She was very kind and courteous. Her assistance during our stay was excellent. Thank you Ms Clara 🙏♥️ the bellman George was very helpful. Receptionist AnneMarie tried her best to accommodate my request. I booked the corner suite, and we were assigned at the 49th floor at The Towers . It was very big and spacious. with sweeping views of the East side . I love the pantry/ kitchen amenities. Open concept to dining and living room. It’s very nice to entertain family and friends. It has a powder room for guests. The main bedroom suite and bathroom were very spacious. Had luxurious bathroom amenities. Very big Cal king bed . Comfortable and crisps white linens. Room service were excellent by Chris , Angel and David. They served us more plates , cutlery and wine glasses for my visitors. Clara brought us holiday decorated sweets and Lotte Teddy Bears for my kids. It was very memorable experience. It’s very convenient location near St Patrick’s cathedral, Saks Fifth shopping and especially the holidays famous Rockefeller Center Christmas 🎄 tree 🌲 Also I have met Victor, Director of the towers , Melody as well from the reception. received welcome greeting cards and sweet amenities from the general manager delivered to our suite. It’s very nice gesture and personalized. I felt royalty welcome 🙏 I am very thankful for $300 credit amazing Christmas present 🎁 Thank you
I am already planning to spend time with family and friends for my birthday 🎂
I was very grateful from the Conceirge who helped for lunch reservation at the Villard’s.
Thank you very much for all of your excellent hospitality.

I had the pleasure of staying here in a one bedroom suite for three nights. Check in was easy, and Jimm at the front desk made me feel welcome. There were plenty of bellmen on duty to assist with luggage, and all with warm welcomes.
The room was astonishing ... truly a spacious and elegant retreat from the city, sitting 47 stories above the ground. The views were magnificent, and the overall feeling was calming and solid. There was a large desk in the bedroom for a laptop, with plenty of plugs (although no USB plug outlets in the room), and a large TV in the bedroom easily viewed from bed and the work desk. The lighting is coordinated and controlled across the suite, with settings from full on to full off, relaxed, and evening light and it works beautifully to create the mood. The bed was comfy with high quality linens and pillows. There were also plush robes available, large closets, and a large in-room safe.
Two bathrooms in the suite...one half bath for guests, and a very large and spacious master bath with toilet, bidet, deep bathtub (not very comfortable however if you're over 6 feet tall), and a large shower with wonderful pressure. The towels were a little thin I thought, and could be refreshed. Plenty of room for toiletries and two sinks and all done in black marble. High quality Molton Brown spa products.
The room also included a full kitchen with refrigerator, range, sink and dishwasher although because of COVID there were no dishes or glassware to be found.
The suite was kept spotlessly clean, and there is a fine cafe on the premises for pastry and morning coffee.
All in all this was a terrific way to be in midtown Manhattan. Friendly staff, elegant quarters, and smiling service abound.

We stay here frequently for business and vacation travel and it’s our favorite NYC hotel. The staff are consistently friendly and helpful. We grab breakfast at Pomme Palais every morning before heading out to work and love the great selection of pastries and breakfast sandwiches as well as the piping hot coffee (extra points for the coffee sleeves!). The rooms are generously sized and the windows open so that you can adjust the in-room climate to your taste. There are convenient and plentiful outlets. The bathrooms are stocked with Molton Brown bath products and the bath sheets are plush without pilling. The garage is convenient (and covered) with a doorway directly into the hotel lobby so you’re protected from the elements and can unload/pack your car with relative privacy. There is a downstairs lounge which has a private club feel and plush soft spaces keeping the noise levels down and providing a nice spot for cocktails and conversation. We can’t wait until our next stay!

All provided, but no booze or coffee maker.
There was a nespresso machine built into the wall in the kitchen of our towers suite. I have stayed in a standard tower room and we had to request a coffee machine which was standard coffee maker with those single use bags.
Hi they didn't take one from us or room tax's, but I booked through tui. Unless its added in, but I don't think it is . hope this helps .
The Tower rooms and baths are completely updated and very large. The Palace rooms are a bit smaller and I dint know if have been updated. I’ve stayed in both but prefer the Tower. It won’t disappoint.
Sorry, I have no idea, we did'nt stay in the Tower.
