It was our first time taking our five year old to NYC and the Graduate was a perfect hotel to stay at. The staff was very friendly and welcoming and it was an adventure (as in fun, not difficult) to have the option to take the tram or ferry to or from the island. We upgraded to a Junior King Suite and the view was incredible. Just a note to parents of young kids to check the menu of the on-site restaurant before you go (our child is very picky but still had some appetizers, our server was phenomenal) and that kids aren’t allowed in the Panorama room. Thank you for making our stay so cozy and special Graduate!

Our family of 3 stayed overnight in August 2022. The hotel is modern, clean, well-airconditioned, well-lit, and quiet. The adorable, enormous sculpture welcomes all to the lobby. Our room was spacious & squeaky clean with a wonderful bathroom (great toiletries) and sumptuous beds. The decor is so detailed and wonderful. If you have ever stayed in NYC, you know how loud it can be. This location is near transportation (subway and sky-liner) into Manhattan and Queens but feels remote and quiet. The views from the East River to the east side skyline are outstanding. They offered us early check in and the staff was so gracious and welcoming. Our tween loved the cool factor of the hotel. We will be back asap.

Yeshaira at the front desk made our stay welcoming. Roosevelt Island is an overlooked gem in NYC. The F train is convenient to get to Midtown quickly. Food on the island was also surprisingly convenient and delightful.

Being the only hotel on Roosevelt Island -just 4 minutes by Tramway from Midtown - this Graduate is something very special in a positive sense. The hotel is modern and stylish with a marvellous view onto the skyline of Manhattan over the East River.

Amazing views. Excellent location. Many transportation options close by. Quirky modern decor. No hose keeping performed. No housekeeping staff on site. No response after repeated contact. Surprise fees added with no notice for no apparent basic facilities such as housekeeping.

This place is amazing! Took the wife for her birthday and wanted something nice yet reasonable. The views alone were amazing! We had floor to ceiling windows on all sides. The sunrise and sunset could be viewed while still in the bed! We wee on the 9th floor. Then we went to the panorama room...even better views! Couldn't have been better! We drove in, and valet was little pricey but u could see your car the whole time whixh we liked. We could get quick access. 30mins drive to evwrything we did. Subwaybwas about 2-3 blocks.

Beautiful hotel, great location for exploring NY, shame about lack of cleaning and bad breakfast right in the hotel, the staff in the restaurant was not organized and the breakfasts were not enough for their price.

Wonderful stay! Thank you so much for a great experience. The hotel is so lovely, and the customer service is excellent. Even though there is a rooftop bar, the hotel rooms are very quiet. We stayed as a family. Only a couple of subway stops away from Central Park and Times Square area. Hotel seems like new, and everyone was very friendly. Roosevelt Island was a gem. Lots of affordable restaurants within safe walking distance of hotel. Four Freedoms Park is beautiful with amazing views of city. We cannot wait to stay here again.

With its location and view, this hotel was very good for us. We just had 15 minutes to reach Times Square and we were able to enjoy the view every time. Every employee was very professional : caring and kind.

The views from the hotel are spectacular and access to Manhattan is pretty easy with tram and subway being easily available. Stop by Panorama room in the afternoon- that is truly a must - views, cocktails and small plates are insanely good. However overall service at the hotel is clearly lacking, room had nail clippings on the floor, another guest’s restaurant charge was added to my bill and it took days to resolve. Any and every request took forever and 1 person at the front desk simply can’t manage it all
