Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.

Not as bad as everyone makes out. No mice or cockroaches, nor any issues with heating or hot water on the 12th floor. Customer services needs work in reception, majority of staff were rude and unhelpful. When my card was rejected through no fault of my own, the man didn't offer

We have stayed at the Hotel Pennsylvania several times. It is an older Hotel that has done a little upgrading. It is right across the street from Madison Square Garden, one block from Macys, and easy access to taxis to take you anywhere. Rooms could have been a little cleaner

Cancel your booking if you don’t want to stay in a dirty, broken down hotel. The staff are rude in the main, you stand in line to get breakfast which is served in a brown paper bag and there are only a few areas to sit. My room which was supposed to be a good room had a leak in the bathroom from upstairs and I had to mop up many times with the towels. Hotel not interested.. people were checking out early without refunds as I checked in just to get away. Please go elsewhere.
