Our first trip to New York which was on a budget and this hotel fitted the bill perfectly. Costing £116.85 per room per night, we booked the hotel via Norwegian who we flew with. The location and price make it a great stay but don't expect any luxuries... the rooms are basic

It is a brilliant location at a budget cost - let's get that in first! The rooms are OK; functional. Small TV, clean (enough), wardrobe, heating bottled water and a sink. The bed was comfy - could have been jet lag, but I slept well. I felt safe and secure. It is a shared

Small room, shared bathroom / shower, unimpressive appearance -- but clean, well run, comfortable enough for a quick night in the City. Within a block of the subway, a block from Fifth Avenue, six blocks from Penn Station, six blocks from Times Square -- met my needs!

My daughters took me to NYC for my birthday. We wanted to stay in one room - that had a 3 bed room. The price was right. We didn't expect much. It was much better than we imagined. Cheaper than the Airbnb we were considering. Extremely clean. Amazing, convenient location.

I think they had them at the front desk. I believe there may have been one in the room, too, but I'm not sure, as I didn't use one.

I think I paid just the NYC taxes, which are about 10 percent of the room charge. The $150 deposit is fully refundable if you leave without damaging the property. Usually they will accept a credit card, hold the amount without charging it, and release the hold when you leave.

Dead easy walk, especially if your bag is on wheels. Its about fifteen mins to walk. Go east on 34th street - towards the Empire State building. Turn left on 6thAve, the Avenue of the Americas but cross that Avenue first. Turn left again to 38th street and the Inn is just down to your right, on the north side of the street, ie, cross 38th before you turn right. You cant miss it. No point in getting a taxi. Enjoy NYC!

"It will probably be quieter if yoiu can get one of the interior rooms (along the airshaft)."
"You are in Midtown in the City that Never Sleeps, so the upper rooms are quieter. Just don't expect total quiet."
"Try to get a room higher (floor 4 or 5) because street noise could be less."
"The hotel inside was very quiet. But you're in the middle of the city so there is outside noise for sure. Horns, sirens etc."
"Hairy, unsafe room that smelled like a homeless person"
