I loved my stay, it felt home away from home and I was sad to leave!
The staff is nice, attentive and supportive on any question or need.
The rooms are lovely, modern bohemian vibe, soundproof, super comfortable beds with high quality linen, robe, towels. Big mirror, enough room to hang clothes. The bathroom is beautiful, nice toiletries and great shower pressure.
Location is great, safe, clean street, walking distance to everywhere, Chelsea market, and some of my favorite areas in NYC, with metro also very close by.
I can’t wait to stay there again.

Just walking in to The Moore was so refreshing. What a cute lobby! We were greeted with a friendly smile from Destiny. This pretty much set the tone for our stay. During our check in process, which was a breeze with Destiny at the helm, she shared the info on all the amenities that The Moore has to offer, breakfast (which is included) which consist of a various selection of fresh pastries, a coffee bar and of course complementary water. The Moore features a gym and also is within close walking distance of the waterfront if you’re so inclined to go for a walk or a run. The rooms! We all know rooms in NY can be on the small side. This room is well appointed and laid out for comfort. Fresh robes, soft comfortable bed, an armoire to store your clothes and ample space to put your empty suitcase on top. Additionally there is a flatscreen TV nice sized shower and bathroom with everthing you may need. There is also a desk that is good sized for both use as a vanity or an eat in table that has offerings such as snacks and wine which are at an additional cost. Be sure to check out the rooftop bar!

Just got home from my second stay at The Moore and it was once again such a great experience. This year’s stay was in a smaller room, but the stay was still larger than life (with still more than enough storage space). The meticulous way the cleaning staff resets the rooms every day made the room a perfect space to reset before the next day. The day and night front desk and roof bar staff went above and beyond for us. From the welcoming check in experience with Destiny, to the professionalism of Anise on multiple levels, the way Leo keeps things running at night when my friend and I had a lobby bar drink at the end of the day, and to how everyone else on staff handled their jobs, I will always recommend The Moore to anyone asking about where to stay in the city. Can’t wait to stay again!

Be careful, they charge you a facility fee (45 per night) once you check in which is not disclosed on booking. When you book through a travel website it states all taxes and fees included, but what this hotel does is send you a confirmation email and declare that you pay a facility fee hidden in the small print. They stated “oh it’s your responsibility to read the terms we send once you have booked” I left feeling it’s a bait and switch, as it was not disclosed prior to booking. My advise is just include it in the price, as your staff stated a lot of people complain about it. They deliberately make you pay at the property so they can add on all the extras. No manager available to discuss at time.
The fee apparently covers the bar and gym, which the bar was not open so unsure why I was charged it. There are also very limited facilities anyway.
Rooms were rather small for the price and also noisy building (530am you can here next door rooms tv/music. Windows could do with major clean

So conveniently located, comfy bed, clean facility, great bathrooms, staff greeted you upon arrival / re-entry into the hotel EVERY single time, they gave you tokens for coffee and water (incredible), and the staff was so personable and kind! Anaise particularly stood out to me - she took great care of me one night. Honestly will return!!!

LOVED this hotel. Great vibes, very well decorated and a great location too. Staff were very friendly and helpful (shout out to Anaise who was so helpful when we checked out).
Not sure why some people are complaining about the size if the rooms: if you unpack your case (there was a big wardrobe in our room) and store the cases under the bed then the room is absolutely fine!
The only negtive, was the cleaning in the room which was NOT upto standard. We stayed 7 nights and the room was not properly cleaned once (only bins emptied and fresh towels added). That hasn't put us off coming back to the Moore though :)

Very nice clean and tidy boutique type hotel. Staff was very friendly, and housekeeping did a nice job tidying up room while we were out. I liked that you could hang a sign on your door letting them know you were out so they could clean. Cute little coffee bar with pastries in lobby- did not get to see the rooftop as we were told it was closed for the season. Room was quite small but have been in smaller in NYC and desk/chair were nice touch. Good location for our visit in Chelsea.

I have a positive impression of my stay at The Moore. Online check-in was easy and smooth. Upon arrival, the room felt quite small (we were in room 407, we booked an “accessible queen”) but once we stashed our suitcases under the bed (a convenient feature), the room felt less tiny. Though the bed did not seem to be queen-sized…it felt more like a full. We asked for a tea kettle, so we were able to make hot drinks in our room (I recommend traveling with a collapsible pour-over coffeemaker if you need coffee as soon as you wake up), but the coffee & beer and wine bar downstairs was perfectly convenient. The elevator could be heard from our room, but it was not terribly loud, if you are a light sleeper, earplugs should take care of that problem. The gym was nicely equipped for weight training or cardio workouts. For the deal we got, I think the Moore was super convenient and comfortable and we appreciated the simple decor and modern design touches. I think if I were on a work trip, it would be 10/10, though a couple small surfaces would improve the space.

The Moore is in perfect walking distance to most places in Chelsea, Midtown, Hudson Yards, etc. Since it’s also located in a more residential area of Chelsea, the street is extremely quiet too.
Though the rooms are a bit on the smaller side, the bathroom was luxurious, and the bed, plus the bedding, were extremely comfortable.
Every one of the hotel staff were exceptionally kind, but especially Anaise and Destiny. They were extremely friendly and helpful, and my partner and I loved exchanging pleasantries with them in the morning.
The Moore offers free coffee, pastries, and yogurt in the morning, and the decor feels modern, yet retro. I would absolutely recommend the hotel, and my partner and I both said that we would love to stay again.

All around perfect. The bed, the pillows, the shower, the morning coffee and pastries, the low lit hallways, the people who work there (Luis!!!), the location....and on....I wish I could always stay here as I travel a lot to NYC but cost will be prohibitive in certain busy touristy months.
