Lots not maintained. Had something come up wanted to leave a couple days early. They wanted to charge 45 dollars to leave. Laundry and restroom dirty. Due to low staff. Changes made to policy discrimination against non residents. You can tell they are losing revenue there are only maybe 25 RVs in the entire park. And by the way several was there more than 90 days as their policy stated. Find another park to go to. I have stayed here several times in the past even 6 months at a time back 6 years ago. And short stays every year after definitely going down hill

This is a county run park. Pool is only open to 6pm which is BS. We asked to borrow a rake to get all the algae/seaweed of ramp to lagoon because it was super slippery and everyone was falling. They said they would put in work order it never got done. After you get past ramp seaweed water is nice. We went swimming at night for bioluminescent! That’s super cool. Sites have great views but no cement pads. Had great time.

Excellent location, very convenient to Kennedy Space Center. Can see rocket launches (when scheduled) from the fishing pier. Very beautiful campground. Very nice fishing pier, dog park, walking path to pier. Pool was small but very clean. Bathroom facilities were clean. ONLY reason I gave it a 4 was because sites are not paved. We had booked site 41, and the ground was so soft our leveling blocks just sank, and site 41 was very unlevel. We called front office and they were very accommodating and moved us to site 45 which was better. Bring plenty of leveling blocks and maybe even long boards. But this definitely wouldn't deter us from going back.

Beautiful campground by the Indian River Lagoon. We were just passing through on our way home to Ohio and only stayed one night. Very friendly campers. We will definitely stay here again when we come to Florida!

We were on site 101 which was a large corner site. You are pretty close to site 100 but we were camping with the family on that site so it worked out great. However, no one should ever book site 102 unless you have a very small tent. I feel as though they decided to cram one more site in and it never should have been put there. The people there were very quiet but they had company and the site was so small their picnic table was almost under our bedroom slide. I felt bad for them because it was ridiculously small and he had quite a time getting his TT into the site. I liked the campground and would definitely return. It’s proximity to the KSC could not have been better. You can watch the launches from the pier located in the campground. Full hookups for $30 a night is really good in my opinion. I have read a lot of poor reviews regarding the office staff but I personally did not have that either over the phone or in person. The restrooms were clean and the pool was open.…

We were packed in like sardines. It was horrible, one campsite on top of another and no privacy whatsoever! I was allowed to have two tents and a screen room...uh, where? We only had half a site! ...and NO FIRE PITS!!! Who ever heard of a campsite with no fire pit?! I talked to an older couple with an RV who said they had moved from Wickham Park because Wickham didn't allow fires, only to find out they had to have a portable fire pit at Manatee Hammock.... Ridiculous! The pool was CLOSED FOR MAINTENANCE. There were a rec room and a laundry, but both required cash. I couldn't use my debit card to get change for the laundry or to put a deposit on the equipment for the rec room. In addition, there was a guy in the office who was extremely rude. First I tried to stay another night because a launch had been pushed back to that next night. He didn't look, just said, "No, we're booked. You should have planned ahead." Excuse me?! Then when I tried to get the change for the laundry he repeated, "You should have planned ahead." I'm sorry, but that is straight up rude! I have another note about the bathroom. They had a sign that literally said, "Please flush before and after you wipe". Ummm...WHAT?! How about investing in toilets that will flush properly? The showers were amazing. There was a step up into a stall with a bench and two hooks, then a step down into the shower. Both had curtains and the water stayed shower side.…

My rental agreement was not a site request, but a receipt for the specific site reservation. This was not a general admission booking. They claim specific sites are not guaranteed, yet they allow site specific selections. Many sites are much more desirable and substantial size difference. Claiming sites are not guaranteed ends up allowing the vendor to use bait and switch sales for a less than desirable site and for us, an unusable site. We did not stay and expect a complete and full refund because of these deceptive practices.

Pros: Great location. Great pier access. Wide walkway to the pier. Easy check-in. Great shaded sites. Cons: No pool (been under construction for over a year). Sites are not leveled and there is dirt everywhere- no grass. Laundry list of rules at check-in. Pretty loud if you stay on the sites closer to US1. Office staff is not friendly. No access to the river if you are looking to bath.

Campground overall was very nice but seemed like there was some game being played: Went online and booked site Arrived and were told they changed our site and they had ‘emailed’ us. They said the site we booked was for a larger RV. We proceeded to the site they moved us to and it was literally the most undesirable site at the campground, no shade, all dirt, postage stamp sized site and right across from dump station. REALLY? Just awful I went back to office and asked for any other site and they put us on a nicer site for a larger RV which is the same size site we originally had and they moved us from (?) NO ONE ever showed up to the site we originally had. Made no sense, felt like giving our site away with no regard to us hand picking that site when we booked months in advance ? And our original site sat empty for the 4 nights we were camping there. Check in process seemed like they weren’t happy to welcome people to campground Whatever, such a shame Will think twice before going there again.…

Was very excited as the reviews were great, however what we found was a sub par experience. I strive to write positive reviews but our experience makes that a stretch. Pros: nice location on Indian River with fishing pier, nice common area down by water. Great viewing for Cape Canaveral launch. Cons: efficient & easy check in but reception was lukewarm & pretty much bombarded with long list of what you can’t do. Be sure to bring your own 6” above ground fire pit. This campground is like a lot of others are turning; winter lodging for transients, snowbirders, and the like. Our site was dirty with small papers, hairbands, rubber bands etc. We had smokers two sides of us that just sat out, smoked and stared. Most weekend campers were friendly, and the campground itself quiet, but on our first night, there was helicopters flying overhead nonstop for 3 hours, and relentless trains running. The train is close by, and normally we don’t mind the sound, but with the helicopters overhead most the night is was not the peaceful camping escape we imagined. It wasn’t as bad on subsequent nights. Restrooms clean but only one person allowed in at a time which is unrealistic w/ a campground this large. Very little privacy between campsites and most are extremely small requiring larger RVs to maneuver for an average of a half hour before they’re able to get in their site. Be prepared for headlights to come glaring into your spot in the evening for late arrivals. All in all, will not be back.…
