Enjoy your stay in Boston!
My wife and I booked two nights here, we had a great time. Awesome rates right now. Great location, lots in walking distance. Excellent customer service - our first room was next to a loud group, and we asked for a different room, and they were more than happy to find us something else (Adam was very helpful). Loved the room, plenty of space. we will definitely stay here again.
Room was spacious and clean. We had no problems. Close to Boston Harbor, Quincy Market, and a nice walk to Beacon Street and park. We went whale watching and took boat to Charlestown. Enjoyed everything. IWe would recommend this hotel and would definitely be back.
LOCATION: Super close to Faneuil Hall and the aquarium waterfront. Walkable to north end and beacon hill. But then Boston is a very walkable city. Bikeable too: blue bikes are very close and we rented for The day and went to the Charles River, south seaport, public gardens, Newberry Street and The fens community gardens. QUAINT: this hotel is not like the big ordinary sterile ones. Our room had two brick walls with windows that opened and looked out on The city and the colored fountains. We could even see the ocean. Room 823 We did have a few maintenance issues in our room but the staff was very prompt to address them. Unfortunately The in-house restaurant and bar was closed due to Covid as were a number of other restaurants and shops in the city. The restaurants that are open are mostly empty. There are no crowds. There is very little traffic. Would definitely stay here again …
This hotel did not ask for proof of Covid tests, as we expected and had ready. Facilities were not well kept and overall, there is trash everywhere, no housekeeping and it seemed crowded yet understaffed. Room was fine and staff is friendly, but in general, other businesses in BH seemed to take Covid safety far more seriously.
I definitely recommend this place, especially if you’re visiting Boston and want to be near many of the main attractions. The harbor, the New England Aquarium, and Faneuil Hall are steps away (literally). The walk to/from South Station is a very easy and straight 15 minutes. I stayed here in July 2020 and the hotel was clean and quiet. No noise from the hallway, neighboring rooms, or above. Always 2 people manning the front desk. Subway stop (Blue line Aquarium stop) right outside the front door. Convenient 7-11 on corner for a quick snack. Just be aware that others waiting for the elevator on your floor can easily see into the “Atrium-facing” rooms; best to keep the shade down. Overall, very nice stay. You won’t be disappointed.
