We loved our stay! The rooms are quite small, but well designed. Very modern looking in white, yellow and chrome with a ginormous bed. The bed has wonderful linens and each person has their own duvet to snuggle in for a good night's sleep. The bathroom is teeny-tiny with a large tile shower. Be aware of you are a large person - this hotel may not work for you. We can't wait to go back!

The only stipulation was parking. We had to go to a parking garage and pay extra for that. It was normally $40USD but we mentioned where we were staying and she only charged us $30USD so that was a help. Very friendly staff and very informative as well. We will definitely be going back!

We very much enjoyed our stay, though we did have a couple of issues.

The good:
Clean, modern, efficient for a night or two. Comfortable bed, quiet, and staff was very courteous. Adorable pineapple and husky puppy details.

The not-so good:
The "amenity fee" of $18 for literally bottled water and cookies. I don't need bottled water and cookies. If you're going to charge for bottled water and cookies, just put it into the up front price. But we got this waved because...
...when we booked, the listing on the Hotel Tonight app said, under parking, "Self-Park." In Boston, parking is limited, and the other listing we were looking at had fees for a valet. We chose Stay Pineapple because of the self-park option, even though the booking price was a bit higher. When we arrived, we discovered there was no parking to be had. We had to find street parking, which we were fortunate to find only because we were checking in on a Sunday evening and leaving early the next day. Otherwise, it would have been $28 to park at a garage down the block. This information should have been on the listing.

Dear Jordan: Thank you for sharing your review. We are so pleased that you enjoyed your room and stay. The $15.00 amenity fee is not just water an cookies it also includes the highest level of WiFi available giving you the ability to live stream form within your room, European robes with slippers upon request, morning coffee in lobby, unlimited coffee and water in your room, city cruiser bikes for touring and much more. Parking in Boston can b e a challenge and luckily the street in front of the hotel allows parking without meters from 6 pm to 10 am the next day. We cannot guarantee space on the street but we do have contact with a great local garage as well.

I came in expecting the quality to be the same as the other staypineapple. This was nowhere close to it. The rooms were extremely small, the lobby was small, the elevators were small. Everything seem rundown. They vacuum from 5pm to 1am; laying in bed hearing vacuuming noises all night. Even the afternoon cupcake snacks wasn’t there. They put a dog next to the entrance room, which is really unplanned for. As a friendly dog hotel, wouldn’t you know dogs bark at the opening/closing of the door?
I paid the same as the other location but the quality between them was night and day. I was a pineapple fan and was planning to book with them for all future trips but now knowing they’re inconsistent of the quality, I’ll be very cautious.

The Staypineapple truly is a DELIGHTFUL hotel! Our king size bed was very comfortable and we loved the individual bedding! The bathroom sink was a little small resulting in lots of water on the floor while washing my face but the walk in shower was great as were the toiletries. Latoya at the front desk was so wonderful helping to get us ice, scissors and letting us borrow a phone charger. The in-room Keurig was great along with having water bottles available in the lobby. Would have loved to have a mini-frig since we had some leftovers that we had to throw away. The Trophy Room pub attached (new open after renovations) was awesome for brunch!!

Location was great on a dead end street. Yes, you will still hear the sounds of the city. I used a white noise app which blocks out all of it. However, the slamming doors in the hallway were very frustrating. There are many rude people who don't think about others and would allow their room doors to slam. The management here should think about modifying these doors to allow for quiet close or in the interim, post a sign reminding people to be respectful in this regard. My other gripe is that I was never told in my four days in this hotel that my $10 food and beverage credit could have been used on a a whole cabinet full of snacks that I was never shown. So, you pay a $15 amenity fee and then can get back a credit of 10 per day by using it on items in their cooler. This is tricky because there are no refrigerators in the room so whatever you pick needs to be consumed before it gets hot or spoils. On the morning of my checkout, I see a guest request chips and cookies. The worker opens this huge cabinet and pulls them out. I was like, why wasn't I ever told about this. I feel like my credit was wasted. I'm on a budget and having these snacks while touring the city would have been nice. The restaurant was closed so if you want food, you'll have to walk a bit to get something decent.
Now for the great things.... the beds are lovely. The shower and water temperature and pressure is lovely. The bathrooms are clean but very small. Towels are nice quality. The pineapple cookies are nice but they run out too fast. I only saw them one time in the lobby during my stay. The front desk staff was all very nice. No attitudes.
The hotel is very narrow. Your room is in a hallway of about 10 rooms on one side of hall only. I've never stayed in this type of format before.

We didn't expect a "deluxe king room" to be just slightly larger than the width of a king bed. Wonder what a non-deluxe one is. There are no closets, just hangars on the kind of hooks you find in a bathroom. No place to put an open suitcase, let alone 2. Suitcases go under the bed in a slot larger enough for it, but you have to pull it out anytime you want to get something from it, since the draws are also part of the bed frame. Clever, but very cramped. Bathroom had a large good shower with pump bottle products (saves on wasted plastic tiny shampoo bottles, etc) but sink is so small there is no room for even one person (let alone two) to put your personal items, like toothbrush, toothpaste, etc. And no shelves to place any of these either. The exhaust fan was constantly running, so you had to close the door at night to avoid the humming noise. Bed was comfortable, a/c worked well, the people who worked there are terrific (one free drink at the bar, free cookies). BUT, there is a "resort fee" - $15/night to use the wifi and get free bottled water (waste of plastic though). This is the kind of stuff you normally get in any decent hotel, not for an extra charge PER NIGHT! It's a way of keeping the nightly costs low when you search for hotel rates. Location was good in South End with lots of restaurants nearby. But not worth the cost (we paid $305/night with all the fees & taxes in August). Too small, unnecessary resort fee.

What a great boutique hotel. The room was small, but well appointed and very comfortable. The decor was modern and fun, bedding was fresh smelling and comfortable, and the robes were a nice touch. The hotel is in a great section of Boston with so many wonderful places to eat and see within a walkable distance. Slight disappointment was when we informed the desk staff one evening when we were heading out that when we had showered for the first time, there was no conditioner in the dispenser and the body wash was running low. In addition, we had used the coffee and tea pods, so would love a refresh of those amenities. He stated he was the only one on and so would provide some dishes with the shower supplies, but would have to wait until morning to notify housekeeping of the other items. The next day we reminded him that we were out of the shower and beverage supplies when we left for 7 hours and after returning in the afternoon, they still hadn't refreshed the supplies. They came in while we were resting before dinner, which was a little awkward. The restaurant on the main floor is closed Monday and Tuesday and the bar closes early on the evenings it is open. Other than that minor snafu, this was a delightful place to come back to each day. I highly recommend a stay here when in Boston.

My boyfriend and I stayed here over the weekend and we had such a good time. I found this place on Groupon and it looked great, so I took a chance and decided to book it. The hotel staff was so friendly and accommodating, and although the room was small, the room had a comfortable bed with the fluffiest pillows and two European down comforters I’d love to have in my own home. The only downside was there was no mini fridge, we like to eat and we always have leftovers, but there was no place to store them. Also, before checking in we didn’t know about the travel fee deposit, for our three night stay they took a $150 deposit and at the end of our trip I was refunded $99. Otherwise it truly was delightful and we would love to stay again!

I was excited to stay at this hotel but when I arrived in the room, I found that it was significantly smaller than the photos demonstrate. Additionally, all of the amenities in the room had some type of malfunction. The television had a smart casting option, but every five minutes, it cut out and made me have to reset the app and start it over. After like 10 times of doing that, we got fed up watched something on cable. We also had a toilet that barely worked. The one thing I will say, and the only reason this review is not a 1 out of 5 is the employee Helena. She worked tirelessly to make sure we had everything we needed. I left my food container within reach of my puppy and she went in the room and moved it for me. If not already, she should be in charge. She even came in and helped unclog our toilet with her bare hands.
