Room included a microwave and large fridge. There was also a nice casual sitting area with a large television. Bathroom was really spacious. The hotel is about 5 mins walk from the harbour where there are lots of nice eating places. The hotel does NOT have a bar, however ther

This is a really good business hotel with all the basics you need. Rooms are spacious, modern and clean.

All rooms also include a full kitchen which was rather helpful for me to prepare my meals in, as I have celiac disease which results in limited eating options while travelli

I was impressed with how clean and new everything is, but a few hours after checking in, the ceiling in room 417 started leaking. A LOT. They sent an engineer immediately and he even agreed that i need to switch rooms. I packed everything back up and then went downstairs. The

Great stay for business. There really isn't much near the hotel in the fall/winter that doesn't involve a number of blocks walk but that was ok. Easy to drive to, easy to park the car. Hotel front desk staff extremely helpful, professional. Breakfast was free and good options, re

NB: We stayed at the Element during the Local 26 strike in November 2018. We learned this after staying at the hotel for a few days, it was a fact that the workers who were at the hotel were trying to sweep under the rug. But we heard the protesters. The strike was resolved as of

Is there valet parking? I'll be checking in very late the night before a convention starts, if the public parking is full I want to know my car can be put someplace safe. I won't do street parking.
I’m afraid I don’t know for sure, but think there’s no valet parking

There is no valet parking. You would have to call the Element and find out what they do when the public lot is full.

We just stayed at the Element in Miami and they served not the usual breakfast items. Does the Element in Boston serve the usual American breakfast items - eggs, ham, sausage, waffle, oatmeal, toast, fruit? Also, is a kettle provided in the room? They closed down the machine for the hot water in Miami and I couldn't make tea. Thanks for any help.
The best bet for you is to call directly to get more information since your needs are greater than I can provide. Jackalyn Cremin 617-530-1606 Hope this helps

Is it walkable from the hotel to downtown Boston (Quincy Market area)? If not, is public transport nearby?
I walked it while in Boston a couple of weeks ago, it takes about 30 minutes, so easily done. You'll have to research transit.

How comfortable are the sofa beds?
It was fine for my son who is quite big. Only problem we had was that the end of the sofa bed was up against the end of our bed so no space to walk through. One of us had to climb over our bed to get in & out.
