First, we stayed here because it was a pet-friendly hotel. It was just luck that it also was well-reviewed. It's one of the few hotels we found that allows for you to leave your pet in the room, unattended. We have a boxer-mix and he enjoyed the stay also, just lounging in the room, living his best life. The hotel itself is super clean, staff was friendly and responsive to our needs, especially Camilla (sp?). I called several times with questions and it always seemed to be her that answered the phone. She was helpful and reassuring that the hotel would meet our needs. No real drawbacks to the hotel, at all. Biggest pet peeve was the placement of the toliet paper in the bathroom (it was easy to knock onto the floor) and then the main switch for lights in the room. We like to leave the bathroom light on at night and it was impossible to do that with the main switch or, at least, we couldn't find a way. I also felt comfortable with their COVID-19 protocols. Lastly, plenty of parking for guests. Overall, highly recommend.…
We went for our anniversary to Boston, and we decided to stay at this hotel because they had amazing reviews. The customer service was amazing, and the hotel itself was too. We had an amazing time there! We told the hotel it was our anniversary and they left a surprise for us at the room. This little details can tell the difference. Highly recommend this hotel. The only downside is you don't have a train station close by.
I am a NY RN covid 19 first responder. I had recently had nine days off from work and decided to spent my time at this Element Boston Seaport District(friday10/16-sunday10/18). I was very excited about my stay here however I was quickly disappointed. Knowing how serious and contagious this virus is I expected the rooms to be kept very clean. When I went into the room I found a pair of old dirty underwear in the shower along with cut hair around the bathroom sink. There was dried blood on the counters by the kitchen. I called the front desk who had said I could have my room changed and they will contact the supervisor. I asked for the room to be cleaned again and for all new linen. Upon returning back to the room I found the new bed sheet had a yellow stain on them. This is completely unexpectable. I was repulsed by the lack of cleanliness. With covid 19 affecting so many people these rooms should be spotless.…
We travel alot throughout the year for pleasure. I found this ELEMENT HOTEL on expedia's website. Its fairly new, its in the up and coming seaport district in Boston. Check in to check out was PHENOMENAL, This was in the middle of the pandemic, so really wasnt sure what to expect. When we walked in we were pleasently surprised how bright and clean it was. We checked in, went up to our room, and room was being worked on by maintenance, i guess just a minor problem. Went back down, and the girl at the desk was so kind, she made a phone call and got the problem solved, her name was CLYNEYA (NANI), SHE WAS SO APOLOGETIC on our issue, she gave us extra points on our marriott rewards card... After getting settled in our new room, about 2 hours later the phone rang, it was her, she wanted to make sure everything was to our liking, she couldnt apologize enough on the mishap, and wanted to know if we needed anything. Throughout our whole stay, whenever we saw her, she was always so pleasent, and made sure we were enjoying our stay. Before checking out, i made sure to inform the manager/general manager how much of an asset to the ELEMENT she was, when I got home, i also called the MARRIOTT NUMBER and spoke to someone about her pleasentness (made up word).....We also encountered another gentleman by the name of WILL, he was also very good ....…
Very close to Southie! Full kitchen. Clean room! Breakfast is closed. Can go down in morning and get frozen sandwich, yogurt or cereal and bring to your room. Piano bar and outdoor beer garden near by but closed. Will stay again once things open up.
