Well, what can I say about the Verb Hotel other than it's the best hotel on the planet. It was an absolute dream to visit here with my husband & our son for my husband's 30th Birthday. As soon as we arrived we were so excited to be surrounded by the most amazing music memorabilia & best vinyl collection in Boston! On top of this, the vinyls are free for guests to borrow & play in their rooms as every room has an awesome vinyl player to make use of during their stay which is a brilliant idea & meant we got to listen to so much awesome music.

For my husband's birthday, some of the Verb team had very kindly decorated our room and curated a 1994 vinyl selection to help him celebrate, he (and me!) we're absolutely thrilled with this & we cannot thank both Carley & MacKenzie for all of their efforts in doing this for him it meant the world to him & he's told me it's the best trip he's ever had.

The room itself was amazing, cool vintage features throughout. We absolutely loved the outdoor heated pool & went out every day for a swim in sub zero conditions it was incredible. Breakfast was delicious & it was wonderful on our last morning to have a brilliant musician play/sing to us during that. The linked restaurant had exceptional pan Asian cuisine; we ate there three evenings during our stay & would highly recommend. The team on the front desk were super helpful with all of our touristy questions & helping us plan day trips to nearby Salem.

The location was ideal, right next to Fenway Stadium which we did a tour of (would highly recommend doing this). It only took 15 minutes to get into central Boston on foot, passing some interesting sights on the way including Berkley school of music and Back Bay fells to name a few.

I cannot recommend this hotel enough & I was very sad to leave, I'm really really hope we can return again some day soon. My only area of feedback is please can the hotel consider getting a few travel cots for little visitors visiting in future, we were thankfully able to share the giant bed with our toddler but we would much rather not because he likes to kick us in his sleep! Other than that, absolutely best hotel EVER hands down. Thank you Verb hotel.

Wow you really rocked our world with this review! It really hit every single point that makes our hotel so special from our staff to our stuff and that warms our heart. Thank you so much for taking the time to create such a wonderful review. We are so happy your stay was so good and that we were able to help your husband have the most rockin' time possible for his special day! I know Carley was so excited to set up that amenity for him because she knew you guys would appreciate it! There isn't much more to say other than we thrive on creating special moments that resonate with our guests and the reverb we got from this review is the best song we've heard all year! The next time Boston sings out to you for a visit, give us a shout at 617-566-4500 or Producers@theverbhotel.com in to book direct and verify our guaranteed lowest rates!

We’ve just got back from a 7 night stay here and it really did make our stay in Boston special. Firstly, I must talk about how friendly and helpful the staff were. Nothing was too much for any of them; we really felt welcomed and like part of the family. We can’t remember all of their names, but they were all special people, in particular for us though, Joey, Elaine and Hannah made our stay memorable. It was a pleasure to chat to them the lobby and they clearly all enjoyed their work. We were honestly sad to leave and felt like we were leaving friends by the end of the week. The rooms were spotless with modern fittings, a trendy design and coffee machines but best of all was the record player and access to the hotel’s extensive vinyl collection. The outdoor pool was heated to a good temperature, so we managed to swim most days despite the freezing temperatures. Breakfast is included and has a wide selection of continental breakfast items. We were lucky enough to be there at the weekend and they had talented locals playing acoustic sets-a real treat. The hotel is in a great location, a short walk away from many major attractions. We went everywhere for the week on foot. Coffee, water and snacks are available 24 hours a day in the lobby and there are good discounts at local restaurants. Another bonus was the managers new puppy! All in all, it would be hard to find a better place to stay. We want to return just to stay here! Thank you so much for making our stay so memorable. Richard and Becky

My boyfriend and I visited Boston for 6 nights in February 2020. I booked The Verb hotel as it was a good price and wasn’t too far from the centre of Boston (on foot or public transport). On arrival the receptionist was friendly and gave us lots of information regarding our stay at the hotel. We knew before we arrived but there is a $16 per day per room amenities fee, which includes a daily continental breakfast, unlimited free bottles of chilled water and tea/coffee along with access to a music library of vinyls which you can play in your room and access to the outdoor heated pool. The room was a good size, with all the usual fixtures - comfortable bed, clean bathroom and shower, hairdryer and small fridge etc. We had a good view of Fenway Park from our room, which is only on the next street. The rooms are serviced daily between 2 and 4pm, however we normally leave the hotel mid morning and return mid afternoon before heading out again in the evening. We asked at reception if we could have the room serviced around 10/11am and every day following this, the room was cleaned whilst we were at breakfast!
Brilliant service, friendly staff and good location.
If we visit Boston again we will definitely stay at The Verb Hotel.
Thank you.

My husband and I stayed at the Verb for a date night away from the kids, and it was the perfect getaway. Tom at the front desk was the BEST: super friendly and welcoming, had an incredible knowledge for music, and pulled all the strings to make our stay unforgettable. Thanks to Tom, we had the most incredible room with our own balcony overlooking the pool and Fenway. Hojoko is one of our favorite restaurants in the city, and is why we chose the Verb in the first place. Being in pandemic, it was so nice to be able to take a short walk to the restaurant, order takeout, and bring it back to our room including their delicious cocktails and sake cups, all without even needing to put on a coat. We could keep our sake cold in the mini-fridge while enjoying our cocktails, and they have robes and hair dryers in each room. Our favorite part, though, is their Vinyl Library. Even with COVID, their record collection is open for browsing. Every room is equipped with a turntable, and it’s so special and unique to be able to enjoy listening to records from their vast collection all night. We can’t wait to be back again and again!!

My husband and I were looking for a short stay in a 420 friendly hotel in Boston. The private balconies in this hotel fit the bill. There is a daily "amenities fee" which basically covered bottled water so seemed a bit high at nearly $15. Parking is extra $55/day, a price that once seemed shocking but is now pretty common in parking choked cities. Cool atmosphere, turntables and vinyl in every room, free to use guitars in lobby. It's a 2 story converted HoJo, well appointed and updated. Beware there are no elevators and it can be a long walk to some rooms. Right behind Fenway Park and a short pleasant walk to the Museum of Fine Arts.
Although attached, the restaurant is a separate business. We enjoyed the food and drink there.
Breakfast is included daily, lots of carbs and sugary cereals, I would appreciate some fresh fruit besides a banana. All in all we had a very good time and would go back.

One of the coolest hotels I've ever stayed at. The staff was super friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and if you like rock music, they even include a record player in every room, and they have a vinyl library full of great music for you to choose from. Bowie, the hotel dog, is the cutest golden retriever and the best lobby greeter!

My fiance & I stayed for two nights for NYE because we were seeing a show at The House of Blues, which is only a short 5 min walk away! We had our two pups with us, there is a fee for pets of $75 for your stay, but it isn't per night or per dog like some other places. The rooms are cozy & beds are comfy! The record player in each room is amazing! & they have a pretty solid collection of albums. The pool is heated & we enjoyed jumping in even though it was the middle of winter! The Grab & Go breakfast was way nicer than I expected! They have waffle makers, cereals, toasts, muffins, hard boiled eggs, juices, coffee & hot cocoa bar! They also have nirto cold brew and hot coffee on tap 24/7 in the lobby which was AMAZING! As well as tea, fruit & waters. Our dogs aren't fans of the city life being from a small town in NH, so we had to bring them to the dog parks A LOT! Luckily there was a few within a 10 min drive from the hotel. The valet guys were so nice & got our car for us at all hours of the night in a timely manner to bring our dogs out even when we got back from the concerts at 1am. Lol Overall it was just a great stay & we would definitely stay again!

Zero complaints about this hotel!

I usually stay at luxury hotels so my standards are high. This place sounded good and the reviews were great so I decided to try it.

I thought the rock theme would be hokey but it was actually really cute.

The staff were all so nice and friendly and efficient. They really seem to enjoy working there.

The food at Hojoku was so delicious. Like, better than most sushi places in New York good.

My room was impeccable clean, quiet, and did not feel worn or shabby. Although I can tell it was designed somewhat on a budget, the interiors choices were perfect and I love how they kept a lot of the motel features like the wall and ceiling finishes. Not sure if the phones are original but having those old phones is a cool touch too.

I loved being able to borrow records from the library in the lobby and playing in my room.

The only thing I would improve is the breakfast buffet. I would like to see healthier options. Take away all the sugary nature valley bars and cereals and add whole, organic food options.

The orange chocolate chip muffins were utterly amazing though.

Overall loved The Verb and will totally be back!

This was by far the best hotel I have ever stayed at, First off the aesthetics are fantastic the theme and feel of the hotel go so well together and it is truly one of the most well thought out and executed hotels. Second the staff as soon as we walked in it was like they have known us for years they made us feel right at home, from service to even interacting with my three year old daughter giving her free merch and her own fake room key so she could feel special. Third overall stay the hotel and rooms where clean the amenity's where great with a pool as well as your own record player and Bluetooth speaker in every room, You also can go downstairs to the lobby and choose from there record selection and take them back to you room to listen to. This hotel over all for the price blew me and my family away it will bring you right back down memory lane while also staying modern. Couldn't recommend this place enough. P.S they even have a dog on there staff look in the book by the front desk to go over all the staff and how the hotel praises them its outstanding.

We've now staid a couple times, initially chose this hotel because of its price and proximity to longwood hospitals where we have regular care. Both stays have exceeded expectations, great value for the money and no complaints, only compliments. The theme is fun and done well! We've had no issues with accessibility, from the lobby to the accessible rooms - on crutches it was all doable without assistance. Heads up, just like the rest of Boston, parking is expensive on site but there are plenty of nearby lots that on the weekends are much cheaper.
