Unfortunately this experience did not meet expectations. Valet staff were great but that was the extent of positive feedback I’m able to provide. Front desk was unfriendly and unhelpful. Group of 5 rooms were requested to be together and confirmed via phone on 2 separate occasions. When we arrived one of the rooms was on a different floor and the response from staff was “not all requests can be accommodated”. Had that been communicated upon booking, we could have used the information to make a decision about our stay ahead of time. Additionally, there were dirty dishes outside the room when we arrived. Garage procedures were not explained and restrictions on amenities were not communicated ahead of time. Restaurant service was poor as well. Disappointing overall.

We had a great stay back in November at the Westin Boston Waterfront. Our room was upgraded to the top floor with a magnificent view of the seaport and city skyline. Staff provided us with a crib for our infant and made us feel extra special with a welcome amenity from the GM. All of the staff we encountered were pleasant and the parking was easy to navigate. Thank you for a great two night stay, we will be back!

My girlfriend and I decided to visit Boston to relax during her spring break since it was a very nearby location. For the extremely affordable price we paid, I am in awe at how incredible this experience was for the two of us. Not only is the lobby so colossal as you walk in, but it's breathtaking; the room we had was spacious and clean as well. Something I really appreciated was they had enough seating inside the room so that my girlfriend and I could actually eat at the desk together without me having to sit on my knees so my girlfriend could take the seat like at other hotels that we've visited. It was also nearby the aquarium, the Boston Common park, the Del Frisco's restaurant, and the Boston Tea Party Ship Museum, so we had a lot to do! Once our trip was coming to an end, my girlfriend and I continually found ourselves wishing we could return back; they even gave us complimentary early check-in AND late check-out, you really can't get better than that. The ONLY nitpick I could possibly have is that the pandemic caused a lot of their amenities to close like their Sauceity restaurant and their in-house Fedex, but that's not their fault at all and should in no way affect how you perceive your stay in my opinion!

Thank you so much for your wonderful review. I am so glad that you enjoyed your stay with us and look forward to seeing you both again in the near future. I appreciate your understanding of some of our services being suspended due to the pandemic. We are however reopening our indoor pool this weekend and our comedy club Laugh Boston has reopened. We have also added outdoor patio seating to our Starbucks. We hope to see you soon!

We only had a quick overnight stay so we didn't get a real chance to explore the hotel. But the room was clean. The staff was nice. Our biggest compliment goes to the bar staff and lobby bar food. The service from the two bartenders was great and the food was much better than the typical bar food that you would expect. The only thing missing was I thought that there was usually bottled water in the room??? We would definitely return.

We just stayed here this past weekend as a little getaway with our teenage daughters. (They were in a separate room, lol). It was a terrific weekend, and we enjoyed our time at the Westin very much! Given current covid travel restrictions, it was nice to escape (even locally) for a weekend of good food, good weather and a change of scenery! We would definitely return, and the few folks with whom we interacted were all exceptionally helpful and kind. Insider Tip: The family were huge fans of the baked everything pretzels available from the bar as a late-night snack! ;)
