Very Clean. Easy walk across the street to Tufts Medical Center and Tufts Childrens Hospital. There is an MBTA train station just outside the hotel so its easy to access the MBTA. Starbucks within the hotel was easy to get a cup of coffee and snack before starting the day. I would stay again.
My mom got sick unexpectedly and was in ICU across the street at Tufts Medical Center. It was a very difficult time for my family and I. We decided to stay at a hotel to be close to her. We found the Hilton literally 50 feet from the entrance of the Hospital. We were so taken back by the sincere empathy from the staff members at the desk. They checked in with us daily to see how my sisters and I were doing. When one of us went to see our mom each day, the desk staff, especially the manager, would give us a word of encouragement and even said she would say a prayer. That meant everything to us at that time. They were so accommodating. The food was great and the wait staff was exceptionally friendly and efficient. Our rooms ( we moved to a bigger room once we knew we would be there longer) were so clean and inviting. We felt as if we were at home in our room. The parking was exceptionally convenient and the price was perfect. This was our first time staying at a Hilton. This will be my hotel of choice from now on - everything was just perfect. The staff was very sincere, it was not your typical public relation speal . They were very very caring and genuinely felt for us. My mom eventually passed at Tufts. We are all so grateful that our stay was so comforting, smooth and just a step away from our mom. Sincerely, JoAnna Hanson, Pamela Cobleigh and Stephanie Cobleigh.…
Stayed Here on Bussiness while in Boston, this hotel is Amazing, and while in difficult times ,Doing an excellent job. Staff here is very Friendly, and Food Excellent. A Starbucks on site, also close to many great restaurants. Nancy and Karl also Exemplary. Also many good beers on tap to go at bar,This Doubletree Hilton Rocks. As a Diamond member highly recommended!
I stayed at this hotel for almost a week and absolutely loved my stay! The property is clean, well kept, and safe. They lock the entrance doors at night so you have to use your room key to get into the building which was excellent! The staff was great! Daniel at the front desk was exceptional and was very accommodating. Darwin the bartender is a gem! He always had on a smile and you can tell he really loves his job. My room was facing the front of the hotel overlooking the hospital building. I’m not sure why people complain about the noise level my room was quiet. You may hear a siren here and there from an ambulance, but thats normal in a big city. Especially if you’re next to the hospital. I’m a light sleeper and I wasn’t the least bit bothered by it. Needless to say I will definitely be back!…
We selected this hotel for location to walk the Freedom Trail. This hotel is right on the subway system if you don't want to walk to your destination. This was a nice hotel with friendly and somewhat helpful desk staff. They are not full service at this time, due to COVID. This means there is no bell man, no valet, and no concierge, and elite status breakfast is a bag from Starbucks with a granola bar, fruit, and coffee or tea. Only two negatives; first, the water pressure is so low that the fancy showerhead was next to useless. They should have put a standard showerhead in so as not to disappoint. Second, the internet is unsecure, so down to Starbucks to use their secure internet!
