Staff was very welcoming and friendly. The room was comfortable, plenty of sunlight and quiet. The restaurant is is also wonderful - both service and food were flawless. I'll certainly be coming back.
We had a spectacular time staying at the Whitney. The staff is wonderful and attentive, and I love how the hotel has an intimate boutique feel to it. When traveling, my family usually choose a king bed with a pullout sofa bed for our family of 4, and most of the time the sofa bed is less than comfortable, but at the Whitney, even the sofa bed is super comfy with a proper duvet (instead of just a thin blanket). The staff also surprised us with macaroons and teddy bear which my kids appreciated greatly. For reference, we stayed one other night at the loft suite in The Langham Boston, but we were somehow more wowed by the Whitney, even though we enjoyed The Langham too. We also had lunch at the restaurant and the food exceeded our expectation. The location is perfect at Beacon Hill with lots of interesting shops nearby, but the hotel itself is so comfortable, we barely left the room.…
Agnes, Daniel, Camil, Pero, Joyce, and Carol were excellent! A professional team with one goal in mind: Take care of the guests that visit. The Peregrine team was awesome as well! The food is DELICIOUS! Recommend 10/10.
My husband and I recently stayed at The Whitney Hotel over the holiday weekend. Our time there exceeded all expectations. The minute we pulled our car for valet service we were greeted immediately. The concierge checking us in to our room was so friendly & helpful with ideas of where to have lunch & dinner during our stay. Our room was difficult to leave. Every corner of the suite was meticulously decorated & pristinely kept. The artwork throughout the hotel is inspiring. We also had the great fortune to meet with the general manager of the hotel, Agnes, where we got to know a lot more about the history of the building & the hotel itself. She is obviously passionate about her work and the staff mirrors this enthusiasm. This will be our new "go to" spot whenever we spend the night in Boston. Looking forward to our next stay!!!…
I loved my stay at the Whitney! The bed was perfect and I had a wonderful night's sleep. The bathroom was very nice (particularly loved the products and the bath robes). Danzel at the front desk was especially friendly and helpful. The service and food at the hotel restaurant was also amazing. Great location too. Highly recommend!
Carol at the front desk and Pero at the valet made for the perfect duo! My car drop-off/pickup and check in/check out process were seamless and easy. They were both enjoyable to chat with. I didn't want to leave!
My husband and I stayed here as I had a surgical consult scheduled at Mass Eye and Ear, which was a quick 5 minute walk from the hotel. From the moment we checked in to the moment we checked out, we LOVED our stay at the Whitney. While the trip wasn't exactly a pleasure trip for us, we still felt like we had a bit of a nice getaway because of how nice the Whitney was. The hotel is beautifully decorated and the rooms are a really nice size with a very spacious bathroom. My husband is 6'4" and the shower head was high enough that he didn't have to crouch down to shower like he does in most hotels. Water pressure and temperature were perfect. There were USB plugs built into the nightstands for us to charge all of our devices, which we thought was such a smart design feature. The bed was also just as comfortable as our bed at home. We had an excellent sleep each night. Our room did face a T line and a busy intersection but all we could hear (and we only noticed it the night we arrived) was the T rumbling by occasionally, but the noise wasn't enough to bother us. The personalized greeting on the TV on the night we arrived as well as the turndown service with the water and yummy caramels left in our room every night made us feel a little spoiled. There were also robes and slippers in the room for us to use. It was the type of service we haven't experienced in a hotel in a long time. The staff at the front desk were so helpful - we arrived late in the evening and the lady who checked us in gave us suggestions on where we could go for a late dinner and offered us water without us even asking. She even knew who we were (guess we were the last to arrive on that day!). Every day we were greeted with a smile as we passed the front desk to go to the hospital and on a particularly rainy day, they pointed out the umbrellas we could use so we wouldn't get wet. I wish I had taken the time to get their names but I was a bit preoccupied with what was going to happen at my consult. The location cannot be beat with the Charles/MGH T station right across the street and there were also grocery stores, a CVS and a number of restaurants within close walking distance to the hotel. It was easy to get around Boston with the T so close by. I have to return to Mass Eye & Ear in March and we will be staying at the Whitney again. You just can't beat the location and the amenities and it will be nice to be in such a comfy, clean and quiet hotel while I am recuperating from my surgery.…
Love, love, love this hotel! Every time we have an event in the city we opt to stay here. It's located in the cutest neighborhood of Beacon Hill and you are just steps away from some of the best restaurants. The rooms are SO clean and spacious. The beds are so cozy. The decor is stylish and chic. I could go on and on. We will be back for sure!
The Whitney Hotel checks all the boxes. From check in to check out, can't say enough. The staff is genuine in making every effort to be sure your stay is nothing but perfect. The lobby is welcoming, stylish, and chic. The rooms are immaculate, extremely comfortable. They have all the things you wish other hotels did, such as complimentary slippers and robes to utilize during your stay. We have stayed at this hotel multiple times now and it would be hard to stay anywhere else as The Whitney Hotel sets the bar when we stay in Boston.
I am astoundingly impressed with the amazing experience I've had at the Whitney Hotel. The valet was extremely easy and the baggage assistance was wonderful, the check in was so smooth! The room was spacious, clean, comforting and elegant in the charismatic way a Boston hotel should be. Daniel went above and beyond to really make the birthday weekend experience a truly memorable one, the friendliest welcome with warm hot chocolate on a cold snowy evening was an absolutely charming feature. Very sincerely appreciated the staff acknowledging this birthday with chocolates and a complimentary drink as well, that was so kind! Cannot wait to stay here again, a solid gold staff really makes a place true treasure - Thank you for making this such a fabulous stay!
