My husband and I were blown away with this hotel. We stayed in a King room on the 9th floor. Room faced the inner courtyard and was very quiet. Beautiful decor, modern, new, perfectly clean…good sized for a city location hotel. We slept so well! The location could not be more perfect. The red, blue and orange lines are all less than minutes away - the blue line to the airport is directly across the street. We only had 2 hours for touring (in Boston for graduation) and the freedom trail is almost right outside your door. Staff was very friendly and accommodating.. we needed coffee supplies and housekeeping was there 2 minutes after I arrived back from the front desk. We had cocktails to kick off our first night before heading to the south end for dinner. I highly recommend the spicy poblano cocktail. …

Hotel's Favourite
Nothing beats this location, everything is within walking distance. The staff were very helpful and pleasant and attended to every request we had, and Kevin the manager even upgraded our room because we asked for a high floor and they didn't have the exact type of room. Also, Peter the trainee wouldn"t stop smiling - and that certainly brightened our visit!

Great location, convenient to sites and public transit (T and Amtrak) but very noisy. Garbage trucks at 5am, construction at 6:30am so don't plan on sleeping in. Asked for a quieter room after one night and was refused, making for an uncomfortable 4 night stay. Rooms are tiny with minimal hanging space for clothes, jackets, and towels (only one towel hook in the bathroom). It's fine for one person but cramped for two. Room was very clean and looked like it had recently been modernized.

Booked based on location get the bus at airport to blue line and get off at state stop literally two minute walk from there. In the centre of downtown we had a deluxe room which was good albeit on main road side so ask for inward room storage for clothes very tight if your staying for longer than 5 nights like us overall great stay. I didn’t give 5 stars as extremely small safe, smalls storage wardrobe and road noise

The rooms were clean. The bed was too soft for us so not restful at all. The communication with the hotel staff started day one. They couldn’t provide answers to issue of the refrigerator. An orange and white light came on and off and none of the staff could explanation what that represented. We called the front desk several times asking for specific bathroom items and water and each time the staff delivered the wrong items. This was irritating. Also, the food in the restaurant was not as good as expected. The breakfast each day we were there was over cooked. The cook could never get the eggs right.

Very well located and helpful staff at the hotel. They were proactive, rooms were clean. The location is the best part as it was very close to work and the key Boston spots making it very easy to step out and back.

We had the pleasure of staying at the Hyatt Centric hotel in Boston for a girls weekend. The hotel itself was charming, clean and in a perfect location. The beds were super comfortable and the staff was all very pleasant. All things you look for when staying away from home. However the brightest point to our stay was the assistant general manager Matthew! He was amazing. He was so friendly, accommodating and helpful. Matthew was hands on and visible; very quick for a laugh, and so willing to make sure our stay was perfect. We also saw him jumping in and helping anyone else on staff. He said the location was one of the hotel’s biggest features. We disagreed- Matthew was the best feature! Thank you so much from all of us!

Very nice hotel with excellent bar/restaurant for later night dinners and breakfasts. Walkable distance to financial district and local attractions. All the staff is friendly and super helpful. One thing to note is that not every room has a refrigerator which can be an inconvenience if staying a week or so.

Stayed here for three nights recently for a girls’ weekend. Location is convenient, rooms are nice and spacious. Staff were helpful. Only minor complaint is that there are no refrigerators in the rooms but I understand if you really need one they will bring one to you.
