We stayed here over New Years Eve and NYD in a corner room so we had a great view of the fireworks. The shuttle to/from the train station runs frequently and it’s easy to text for a pickup. The walkway to the airport can’t be beat. It’s so much nicer than taking a shuttle especially for an early morning flight. As a Hilton Gold member we received a daily food and beverage credit. The first night we got takeout from the restaurant. When I placed my order at the bar, I was charged an automatic tip to the bill; the bartender handed me the receipt and said “you can write your room number, tip, and sign”. I was a little put off at the tip request after the tip was automatically applied; it was so busy so I didn’t ask why the auto tip just signed and left. However, the burgers and fries were really good (even have a GF bun). I used the pool and gym. The pool was warm but the area was messy; towels on the floor and even trash. The gym was really nice, it has lots of equipment and was very clean. Overall I’d stay again if we were in Boston and flying early for the convenience.…
My wife and I stayed at the Hilton Boston Logan prior to early morning departure. Room was clean and tidy. Quiet. Close to Logan with frequent shuttle service. Good air conditioning. Would stay here again prior to departure or after a late evening arrival.
I’m constantly impressed at the airport hotels in the US, because UK airport hotels are pretty grim and basic. The Hilton at Boston Logan is convenient (a walkway takes you there direct from the airport), comfortable, spacious and well-equipped! The bed is good and firm; there’s plenty of storage space and the bathroom (while rather small) offers a good strong shower and a basin with plenty of area for toiletries. Our room overlooked the airport itself but we heard no noise, so I guess the soundproofing is top notch! Breakfast was very good; my husband and I are vegan but we enjoyed oatmeal, fruit salad and toast. If only some other residents could have managed without shouting into their mobiles for the short period it takes to eat breakfast, it would have been perfect. It’s also very handy for car rental if, like us, you’re travelling elsewhere. Oh, and the staff are charming and helpful too!…
I'm here now in my cozy plush bed thinking, "I'm staying at an airport and I don't hear a sound!". I was worried about aircraft noise, but you can't hear a thing. The planes fly away from the airport so you don't get any aircraft noise here. This place is convenient if you're wanting to stay the night before or after your flight in or out of Boston Logan Airport. The skybridge to the Hilton/Logan is between terminals A and E (international terminal). My husband and I walked from terminal B which is a tad trickier because you have to go to terminal A first, but very do-able if you like to walk. Takes about 20 minutes from terminal B. Or you can call the hotel and the hotel shuttle will pick you up. We preferred walking. Easy to catch public transportation into town and back from the hotel. The hotel shuttle will take you to the blue line subway and pick you up if you call them. Or you can take the silver line (free bus) to South Station and take subways or other transit from there. Rooms are large and very clean.…
I have stayed here maybe 10 times and I like this hotel because it's walkable to the Delta terminal and a quick, friendly shuttle to the rest of the airport, including the rental car center, rooms are your standard chain hotel comfort, there's an overpriced starbucks in the lobby with bagels and coffee which is handy (certainly it's better than eating in the breakfast restaurant, but not as good as Equator/Berkshire coffee in the airport). There is no character or charm here, but if you want the convenience of the airport, this is the very best option. As far as rooms go, the rooms with a view to the airport are the best views, especially if you get high enough up you can see the harbor. On the other side, the view is a parking garage with lots of freeway noise. All the rooms appear to have the same decor/same size, so the key is to get the better view which also happens to be significantly quieter. Be sure to avoid the ice machine rooms. In the evening, the hotel pub-style restaurant is overpriced and not great but when you need to eat, it's acceptable. You can park in a covered garage a quarter of a block away for much cheaper than the valet and I always find a spot right at the entrance to the garage. In all, this is an extraordinarily convenient hotel, which make it one I go back to over and over again for quick trips to Boston. I've found it's very easy to zip into anywhere in Boston proper or get on the freeway if you're headed out to the suburbs.…
My 43-year-old daughter and I stayed Sunday Jan 22d. She was flying out early the next day. We had been to the Bruins game, and I live in NH. It was raining and I decided to stay over with my daughter as my 70-year-old eyes don't like driving at night in the rain. We got to the hotel about 10:45 pm and stopped at the hotel restaurant to grab supper. We got to the room about 11:30. We turned on the TV and found a movie to watch while we chatted. The volume was not loud. At around 1 am the phone in the room rang. My daughter answered and someone asked if we were watching TV. My daughter said yes and nothing more was said so she hung up. A minute later someone was pounding on the door. We did not answer. The door opened and two men were there. One pushed his way into our room (I should have put on the extra lock) and was yelling at us in a very threatening way. He did not have a Hilton uniform on but the other guy (who was at the door) did. My daughter told him to get out of our room. They left...we did not sleep. If they had called and asked us to turn down the TV (which was not loud) we would have. I was shocked that they thought it OK for 2 men to push their way into a room with 2 women at one in the morning when we had done nothing wrong. …
Our second visit. Staff is superb. We had an early morning flight, but I enjoy this hotel so much I might stay sometime even when I don't really need to. It's one of the best hotels I have stayed at. Some rooms have a great view of the skyline. No hassle stay.
Good for a quick overnight. Reception desk was nice enough. Room was clean but not fancy. Not impressed with the in-house restaurant until John, the bartender, turned our experience around. The host ignored us for 20 minutes (absent from front) while the restaurant emptied out and others ignored the sign “wait to be seated” and just seated themselves and immediately were waited on. We finally went to the bar and John was incredibly receptive and kind. Meal tasted great! Gluten free bread was an option- ask them to toast it though.
Positives: 1. Literally connected by skywalks to the airport terminal--perfect location if you have a late night arrival or early morning departure 2. Clean rooms with super comfortable beds 3. Loved the ability to text the front desk with questions/concerns 4. Provided a one-hour late check-out upon request Negatives: 1. No room upgrades for Hilton Honors elite members--if you want an upgrade, you're gonna need to pay for it here. 2. Food and Beverage elite member credit was not applied to my bill so I texted about it and was told it was fixed, but I still got charged the full amount without the credit applied--I'm still dealing with Hilton Customer Service about this but it's annoying to have to spend so much time trying to get back my $36 in food/beverage credit that is part of their elite benefits. 3. Walk to the airport even if it's a long walk to your terminal--I waited (along with another guest) for a shuttle back to the airport and it never arrived so we both gave up and walked. …
The room was very comfortable and a very convenient place for making an early morning flight! The view from our room looking out over Boston was beautiful and the bed was extremely comfortable. We had an early morning flight and it was easy to walk across the connecting bridge to get to the terminal.
