The Mandarin Oriental Boston continues the high-quality, service-oriented brand for which the chain is world-renowned. The staff is warm, helpful, and professional, with no attitude. The actual property is superbly maintained. If you are running the Boston Marathon, you cannot beat the location of this outstanding hotel. General Manager Markus Lindner is very accessible and friendly, and chief concierge Paul Sullivan cannot only pull that rabbit out of the hat to get the impossible done, but he is also calm and has a good sense of humor.

We had a fabulous visit at this hotel! Every staff member we came in contact with was friendly and helpful! They thought of every detail and we were well taken care of. Loved it all! Lemon bars in the afternoon, greeted with lobster stuffed animals for the kids, even Boston themed crib sheets!

I stayed for one night. The room was fresh and modern. Large with everything as required. There is a turndown service. Staff were friendly and helpful including a late check out. There is no issue to get dropped off or picked up out the front. It is close to many niche shops and restaurants as well as direct access to the conjoined malls with lots of shops for any gifts you may need!

I decided to head into the city for Marathon Monday for the first time. I was beyond impressed yet again with my experience at the Mandarin. Tastefully decorated to match the marathon....Sam Adams pop up bar in the lobby and themed treats in my room. There was obvious extra security around for the Marathon and it was so appreciated. Beyond grateful for my first Marathon experience at an exquisite hotel!

The Mandarin Oriental was the perfect place to stay for the Boston Marathon. It’s a beautiful hotel, and they went above and beyond for the runners, including special pasta meals and a tray of marathon-inspired treats (including a jersey with my actual bib number on it) upon my arrival. The staff was excellent. The hotel is one block before the finish line. I could not recommend it enough.

This is our third time staying at the Mandarin Oriental Boston. Jason and his staff along with a warm welcome from Marcus makes us feel like Mandarin Boston is our second home. Their staff are exceptional. The rooms are exquisite, and the service is impeccable across the board.

We had a lovely stay at the Mandarin Oriental. The Hotel was friendly, clean and is in a great location. I loved the tea and cookies that were sent up to the room at check in - it was a perfect start to the weekend. The Bath tub was the perfect size and enjoyed the scent of the bath soap!

Great stay, pleasant and responsive staff. From arrival to departure the staff performed as expected for a high end hotel. As an Amex fine hotel and resort we were upgraded and credited with $200 per day to use between food and SPA. We had early check in and late check out. I particularly like the tea at the front desk, we stayed at the one in Miami before but I don’t recall them have the tea like Boston. With the central location, proximity to restaurants and transport I would recommend this place if you’re visiting Boston. plus you can access the prudential mall for shopping directly from the hotel without going onto the road

A really beautiful Mandarin Oriental hotel in Back Bay. Close to plenty of good bars and restaurants and walking distance to most of Boston's tourist attractions. We really appreciated the warm welcome when we arrived at the hotel and the service was friendly and attentive throughout our stay. Massive thanks to all the team for making our stay so enjoyable.
